A different type of shopping experience
A cute sweet read that occurs after her apartment is shot out and most of her furniture ruined.
Sam has an idea where to buy furniture, unfortunately it leads to overpriced items and vying asked to leave. However her next suggestion leads to a store that is perfect. Perfect if you discount the rumours of ghosts. Lights come on and off on their own. Doors open and close without human assistance. But the furniture is great. Is the store haunted? Will she find everything she needs? -
This was a cute and funny little in-between-books novella (technically it’s book #3.5), sort of a behind the scenes peek at the furniture shopping that happened in the aftermath of Piper’s apartment getting messed up in book 3. Sam loves shopping. A lot. Piper’s more like me and just wants to get it over with and be able to find everything at one place. Plenty of typical Piper and Sam banter and a funny scene in the first furniture store they went to. Nice way to spend twenty or so minutes or to read while waiting on an appointment.

A fun short story
Piper and Sam go furniture shopping to replace Piper's furniture that was ruined by bullets. Naturally, since it's these two, they find a bit of adventure along the way. -
This short story is entertaining, cute and funny. I enjoyed it very much.

Quirky, in a fun way, but over too quickly. The characters were nicely developed which was great for a book between books in a series.
