Infiltrated (Daywalker Academy #2) Reviews

Aaaand, she's done it again. Ms. Daniels has provided me with an exceptional follow up to book one, and leaves me wanting book three, erm, like NOW!!!
Infiltrated in the second book in the Daywalker Academy series, and it does continue on from book one, so you should really read them in order. Besides, if you don't, you miss out on a whole book of Zoltan, and no one wants that, trust me!
Franky starts off by trying to get to grips with what has happened and by pushing everyone away. Astara refuses to let her, and sneaks under Franky's guard when she's not looking. Fenrir still makes me smile whenever he's on the page, although Leo is sneaking up there too. As for Zoltan, yep, I'm a goner. I adore him "even" when he's being a jerk to Franky (which is most of the time!)
I won't say any more about the story as I really don't want to ruin it for anyone. What I will say is Franky's sass is still there for all to see, even considering what she's been/going through. The plot thickens and deepens, and you will find yourself rooting for our crew as they battle only knows what!
A fantastic second book that I definitely, highly recommend. Just, no Zoltan, okay? He's mine!
* A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book, and the comments here are my honest opinion. *

This series just keep getting better. It is an edge of your seat ride from page 1. The tension keeps building. You want to know who Franky can trust.
-
This is even better than book 1. I am in love with these characters, and everything about this author. Watch out because big things are coming from her for sure!
-
This series is amazing!!! The characters and the plot are just awesome. Make sure you have time when you start it because you can't put it down. It is page after page action, and this is no YA book. It is so steamy it will melt your kindle. I love Frankie and Zoltan they are so hot together and they are my favorite couple, but Frankie won't admit it yet.. Now that everyone knows how special and powerful Frankie is, she has to be protected!!!! Half-bred my butt lol she has more power than any of them. When they go into the human realm they meet the hunters. These are no regular hunters, they have magic (dark magic) which can turn paranormal creatures feral. This will be a battle of life and death. Can Frankie do what is needed to save them all? Or will it be to much even for her? Omg.... Wait until the end and you see who comes through the portal. Family friends, lovers can any of that be true??? It's good against evil who will win?? Absolutely a spectacular series, and my favorite series of any I have read!!!

The 2nd book in the Daywalker Academy series, Infiltrated starts off with where the first leaves off. What will Frankie have to do now that she has been forced into being a ‘student’ at the academy? What about the attraction between her and Zoltan? That growing need to be with him is getting stronger with each day and she is finding it harder to resist.
Will she be able to overcome and control her new founded powers? Can she come to terms with such an epic betrayal from someone she thought of as a friend and minor father figure? How can she help save everyone and keep more people from dying?
This book is action packed from the start. Mystery, mayhem, death, destruction, and of course a love attraction growing fast and hard enough to melt your socks off. You will not want to put this book down. -
This book is packed with action! Franky can barely recuperate or catch her breath before the Academy is under attack again! Now, looking for their spy is top priority, but the twists keep everyone on their toes. Looking forward to the next book.

What a cliffhanger!
Franky was up the creek without a paddle before, now she's got no boat, it's pitch black and there's a major storm brewing!
More people are being murdered and when Franky finally gets to cross over to the city, hords of hunters are on the attack. Trying to figure out who is leading them and why leads them all to a cliffhanger where Franky has to choose; her heart or her home! Epic! -
Well.....the ending.... I don’t like cliffhangers!! Not even said when the next is coming out!!
When I started the series I had no idea to what was I’m poking in. I didn’t know the author and nothing from her. I stopped reading reviews bc it always influences my feelings towards the book. So I go blind and till this day I can’t complain.
Sorry for all mistakes in this review, but I’m typing from my phone.
Anw, my review:
I feel that Francesca changed in this book, grew. I think in the first book she was “wilder” I like the writing, book has not even 300 pages and I have there everything.
I’m a bit disappointed that I still didn’t get the sex scene which I’m really looking for, considering the tension between both characters. Zoltan has such a claim on Franky, the jealousy in his voice when she said she drank Fenrir’ blood. I like Fenrir, he truly love her. At least that’s how it looks to me. Alto have to agree on one thing w Andrius, why only shifters and demons should do be a “grading dogs”, where is the equality? All should have the same rights, like Vamps are nothing more than other spices, and hybrids?! But this is not the way it should be dealt with.
In this book, there was anything that would surprise me, like I was waiting another traitor which turned out to be Alex, I was waiting his betrayal and when Franky realize it. I like that Franky is really smart and funny her own way.
I guess in the next one the gang is gonna save Zoltan and finally we will get a proper sex scene. While in human realm I saw that Franky started paying attantion on Fenrir’ behavior toward her. I love Zoltan, but Fenrir deserves a credit too. And I think Franky should appreciate it. I know she thinks that he is doing it for his life, since she is bound to Soren and if she dies everybody dies, but aside that she should finally open her eyes and I have a inching feeling that in 3 book she will open her eyes. I hope at least.
Anw, I give the book 4 of 5 bc of few other thing that annoyed me through out the book.
Again, sorry for mistakes and I hope you understand everything or at least something. -
Franky and her crew are back in the second installment of the series. Now that they know just how special Franky is and will be to others, they have to protect her at all costs. Her vampire and Fae sides make her a strong warrior, but the dragon in her makes her most fierce! The group travels to the outside realm to try to find answers. But they only get into more trouble! The Hunters have a new weapon they are using against the supes. They are also coming out in hordes. When they finally return to the Academy, they discover more people being killed. A person they believed friend turns out to be the enemy and is after Franky. A huge fight ensues and Franky and Zoltran have some hard decisions to make. Which will it be? These answers and more are in this second book and it ends in another cliffhanger! Ms. Daniels brings us into another episode of Franky’s world. It is action packed and we will see Franky become stronger and more confident. Her powers will start coming out more and her wicked moves! I received this as an ARC and am leaving a voluntary review.

I can at least say this book is less confusing. This was was better then the first book. Seeing as how both books left on a cliffhanger it looks like I have to wait for book 3 to see how this ends.
Ps how does a half vampire/ fae hybrid turn into a dragon? -
Cliffhanger Warning!
Francesca’s time at the Daywalker Academy has lead to her being bound to the place, which in turn, means she needs to learn. A lot!
But there are forces at work, and she needs to figure out who, and why, before she, and the students, are hurt!
This fast paced, urban fantasy series, is an enthralling one. A world where demons, vampires, shifters, and Fae, work side by side... or do they?
Franky’s world has changed since she calm to the academy, her view of things is becoming skewed, maybe more realistic.
As she learns more about the world, she is placed more and more in danger, as nefarious beings will stop at nothing to get what they want.
It’s a fascinating story, well written, well paced- but it’s not complete, because it’s more a serial than a series! This book continues on from the first, and ends in a cliffhanger for the third, so consider yourself warned!
Read the first book in the series before this one, and have the next one lined up ready to go!
For fans of Urban Fantasy... if you enjoy Ilona Andrews and Patricia Briggs, give this series a whirl! -
I really like this new series as a whole, but there are a couple of things I am NOT ok with. One, no one should have to sacrifice their self endlessly to fuel the magic powering this place. That is sick and twisted .... Like find a different way! Also, our h goes off on people like a child without knowing any facts.... Then she is all knowing and the cooler head.... My head is spinning!
I am also not a fan of the cliffhanger endings.... That feel more like a break in the book.... I hate partial books! -
Infiltrated
Great follow up to the first book. Story picks up where we were, at the end of the last book. Couldn't put it down. Very fast paced and doesn't lose track. Franky and Zaltan have so much chemistry, can't wait for that to be explored more. Would like to know more about the hunters, but it's like we are learning with Franky and I like that. Surprises from all directions, great read. -
This is the second book in the Daywalker Academy Series and I’m loving it. There is so much action. Franky is determined to find out who has infiltrated the academy. I can’t wait to read the next book to see what happens.

Book 2
They are now fighting the hunters aided by someone from the academy. In book 2 more of the story unfolds and secrets reveled. -
Book two flowed much better, ended with a major cliffhanger, and enough of the dry humping.. let them finally get naked 😜
-
It was worth a try
These books just feel so.. disjointed. All over the place and some of it not making sense. It almost hurts my head. -
Death on Campus
Even though Franky has been outed as a Dragon Blood Fae, she still has no idea what it means, only that Soren, the only other one anyone knows about has tied their life forces together.
Franky is in shock from the betrayal of her employer and the manipulation of the people she thought of as allies. She is ignoring everyone and everything and the only person able to get anywhere near to her is Zoltan’s sister, who just sits and doesn’t say anything.
As more bodies are found on the campus, Zoltan and Fenrir decide that they need to move up their timetable and decide to train Franky hard for a couple of days and then reveal all!
There are a few big reveals in this book, but there is still plenty to find out. We see Franky and Zoltan getting closer, despite Franky fighting the attraction as she fears she will be left for a pure blood vampire woman as half-bloods are never taken as mates.
As is often the case with series, we discover more about the various characters. As these are more like long novellas than full sized books the pace is quick and the plot quite frantic. At least with a series of short books you get to learn about the characters over the time rather than it being completely plot driven.
