  Terry And Maggie's Story Brings Together Two Very Real Characters Lonely In Their Own Ways Who Both Need RescuingTerry in his mid forties uses his brain by day At the club however he follows a different body part Tall dark and terribly handsome he is very fit for his age and is a sharp dresser But he is also rude and crass  though he might prefer to call it brutally honest He hasn't chased a woman in years; they come to him willingly As a dominant his control is famous He may be arrogant but he has earned that labelTerry had been burned by his ex wife years ago After twelve years of marriage Morgan had walked away with the house his cars his law firm the kids and some valued friendships He knows from experience that lies abound in divorce Today he is a hard nosed divorce attorney and has reconstructed his life He has a successful practice has rebuilt his wealth and vows never to marry again Terry may avoid commitment but he has a healthy appetite for kink After his divorce he became a member of La Petite Mort Club a private club catering to those with similar interests and offering a safe place to meet up and indulge Terry had practically lived at the club outside of office hours or courtroom appearances but recently he has spent time at home He enjoys the company of his dog but loneliness is beginning to settle in his life He hopes to find a new sub to train and enjoy which should help to fill the void His women are typically tall athletic and put together CEO types with experience The kind that knows what they want and that likes to be in charge He loves the challengeMaggie in her mid thirties is lonely After her divorce over a year ago her life began to crumble She works as a hostess at Outback to support her three kids ages two through eight but struggles to put food on the table Her rusted car keeps breaking down so her job is in jeopardy And she needs to move She has always tried to do the right thing She goes to church and had married her college sweetheart yet she cannot seem to catch a break And her self esteem doesn't help matters She has yet to lose the baby weight from when little Davey was born David her ex hadn't wanted her any because she was fat so she is keenly aware of  how unattractive she has become Her pride is a powerful motivator though Combined with her stubbornness she keeps going despite her many challenges But if she were honest with herself she would love to have a man in her life someone to lean on and share her life with She is in a bit of a romantic uandary however She isn't in a position to have flings not as a single mother And she doesn't have time for a relationship When Vicky Givens her ex sister in law reaches out to invite Maggie to an evening out she is thrilled that her old friend wants to remain in her life and happy to have adult company for an evening When Terry runs into a wide eyed fearful hot mess of a woman at the club during an open night event in which guests are welcomed he knows immediately that not only is it the woman's first time at the club but she is completely out of her element Despite the fact that she is not his type   she is short and curvy and innocent looking he is drawn to the scared little rabbit a natural submissiveMaggie panicks when she realizes the kind of club her friend asked to meet her at She frantically searches for Vicky to no avail but just when she really needs help a handsome stranger comes to her rescue He tells her flat out that he wants her making her blush but as tempting as the opportunity to be with a man again is she just cannot bring herself to say yes Terry and Maggie's story brings together two very real characters lonely in their own ways who both need rescuing The Dom's Submission is written three parts The first part is the story of Terry's seduction of Maggie The second is the story of Terry and Maggie's struggle to define their relationship The third installment of Terry and Maggie's story turns angsty as the divide between the couple becomes a deep chasm Terry's crass comments and Maggie's stubborn independence create an enticing tension while Terry's friends are heartily entertained by his jealousy and sudden change in taste making him an easy target for their jestsBound by their pasts neither can cross the divide that separates them without hurting themselves Terry is paralyzed from the loss he experienced following  his divorce years ago while Maggie struggles to maintain her independence and minimize her vulnerability following her recent divorce a task complicated by the fact that she is a single mom of three young children Taking a time out for self evaluation is necessary but not without its own risks The couple eventually earns a touching HEAThis story is an easy read sweet and sexy angsty and heartwarming The POV alternates between Terry and Maggie though much of the story belongs to Terry who has silently suffered for years It is written in the third person The plot is light but sufficiently developed The characters are nicely defined given the length although it would be nice to know about Maggie Terry's friends from La Petite Mort Club play an important supporting role for both Terry and Maggie I rate this book four stars

  Wow this book get so hot you may need a cold shower I absolutely could not get enough of this I was hooked from the first page great writing job bravo loved it and if anyone is looking a steamy wonderful read then add this one to your list you will not be disappointed I was not I loved itI received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review

  As usual Ellis O Day presented a steamy exciting and tantalizing story that acuainted the readers with the main characters as it drew those reader into the storyline and held their attention until the final page The plot of this narrative was so uniue and enticing that I was compelled to learn about the lives of rich gorgeous and domineering Terry and plump timid and frumpy Maggie With all of their differences Terry and Maggie appeared to be ordinary people with their insecurities and the emotional baggage caused by life's past experiences and traumas I found myself empathizing with both Terry and Maggie struggles As always honest open communication seems to be the key to preventing most misunderstandings and preventing situations from spiraling out of control I thoroughly enjoyed reading Terry and Maggie's story and look forward to discovering how other La Petite Mort Club couples found each other Great Characters Great Story

  I am not usually so effusive but I absolutely adore this series and the follow ups Ellis O Day writes about characters that are real that hook you in and that you root for What could you ask for?Steamy sex and a will theywon't they theme Terry follows his head in business never follows his heart because that got broken and so follows another part of his anatomy for relationships; when he meets Maggie it is that part of him that is drawn to her but she has responsibilities and while she is very attracted to Terry she doesn't want to be a one night stand but Terry thinks she a natural Sub and plans on making her his for as long as he wants her This is not only an erotic story which will make your eyes open wide it is also a tender love story I read it read the three follow up stories then read them all again in the right order and I read the start of this again as it is so compulsive

  I grab the first book in this series for free from the author´s newsletter I know that the start of Le Petit Mort Club is the Six Nights of Sin series in my TBR list but there was something about the blurb that got my attentionand boy i was not expecting thisThis series is so captivating you see Maggie´s struggle with wanting to take care of herself after a failed marriage and Terry a complete Dom wanting to care of her in any waythe emotions from Maggie were so raw that they moved me to tears at times and Terry was such an ahole but you got to also see his POV He guided Maggie through the process of what being his Sub meant and was always honest with her So you understand that tooI was not expecting the first book to leave with cliffhanger it did so i just had to grab the box set instead it´s cheaper than to buy the 2 other books separately and had to know what happened with Maggie TerryAnd i was not dissapointed ;

  Definitely not for the faint of heartIf you don't mind BDSM you will like this one I enjoyed the story line Woman has been divorced recently her name is Maggie Maggie is invited to this BDSM club by her sister in law but she can't find her The reason she couldn't find her is because she's not there Terry one of the owners see's her and is interested in her so he decides to follow her around because he doesn't think she knows what she wants or what she is doing or has gotten into So starts the beginning of the possible Dom Sub relationship between them I enjoyed the plot of this story Recommend this series

  Terry’s EvolutionFrom Terry’s dislike of red dresses on Valentine’s Day to not wanting to meet his “rabbit’s” kids he fell hard At times his attitude and arrogance were exasperating Having decided to be with a woman with principles and decency he then has no clue why she refuses to take money and extravagant gifts from him just so his life will be easier Her refusal to accept any help at all was just as frustrating It did turn out that what Terry needed most was a woman with a little backbone and what she needed was someone who could be there for her when she needed it most Happily ever after can happen even for the most stubborn of people

  Hell yes fantastic book Loved this book Every word all the situations are so true to life Steamy funny lively a MUST read This book is Ellis O'Day at her best Great full developed characters that you want to personally know Terry is a complicated man who has a lot to learn and Maggie needs to heal from a bad marriage They find the answers to the painful lessons in their friends and each other if the can just trust

  Read 'em in a day I read all three books in a day A few things I've noticed is a lack of uestion mark when there's a uestion some misplaced commas Neither take away from how great these books are Ughhh Terry sounds so unbelievably hot Thinking about reading Ethan's story next Ethan intrigued me 😍

  So sometimes romance novels have the guy screw up and do idiotic things in the name of plot It ends up feeling a bit stilted because I get the urge to say surely he is not that dumb? But the bumps in the road in this relationship felt pretty natural so I didn't have that same urge to roll my eyes I will be reading by Ellis O Day for sure Happy Reading
