I love Praying Medic and while I didn't exactly love this book, it was enjoyable enough for his first work of fiction. I felt like it was formatted to mimic The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis (I know PM is a big fan), but the short chapters and the way the book jumped just doesn't suit my preference. I wanted to get more out of the characters and this felt more like a "tell don't show" book. Anyone unfamiliar with DID, demons, angels, Jesus may be confused by this book. If you are familiar with that and Praying Medic's other works, he does pull in healing techniques, the courts of heaven, hearing God's voice, and so on, so it was a good tie-in for his other works. Overall, I'm glad I read it, but it wasn't the writing style I enjoy.

Fiction but shares of the truth that "we fight not against flesh and blood but against..." We see Shiloh's transformation as she walks closer with Dad and Jesus and learns tools for walking in healing and battling our true enemies in the spiritual. Interactions with Dad, Jesus and true friends in this book are precious.

What I liked the most about this book is the reality of the spirit realm being brought into the light. For some, this book may seem like fiction and that's it; but for others it is a long-awaited validation of their journey. The story line is very good and compelling. You'll want to call in sick from work and READ ALL DAY. I finished this book too soon and can't wait for the next installment. Keep them coming Praying Medic, layers of lies that the demonic work under are being brought to the LIGHT.

Great read! What does Godly love look like? Does God see us and embrace us no matter what has been done to us or what we have done? Can healing and release of pain happen while we are living on earth? Does prayer matter? Read this book to find out.

David’s first fiction book is amazing!

Loved reading this book and how much David teaches from his heart is in this book and others that he has written.
