Learn how life can be everything you want right now.Excerpt from the “Well-being is like a wide channel through which our life flows. It's big enough to hold all our experiences, including our highs and lows, and everything in between, without judgement or resistance. It's like a riverbed—mostly unseen, but critically important. The riverbed provides a welcome container for all of life, and as a rule, it doesn't eject anything out. In fact, each component held within the riverbed is seen as necessary—as part of creating the larger picture. The curling eddies, the fish hovering at the sides, the debris floating downstream—they all belong inside the riverbed.Well-being is the same. When we're in our riverbed of well-being, we become big enough to hold everything with the courage to say, 'I am willing for all of this to be my life.' "Early praise for The Magic of “Real and powerful." -Flint Sparks, PhD, Zen Teacher, former Clinical Psychologist“Laura Thomas walks her talk, dances her dance, and offers her bright and bold insights from an authenticity of rare depth. This is where the magic happens.” -Flint Sparks, PhD, Zen Teacher, Former Clinical Psychologist“Laura writes from a place of tenderhearted compassion and wisdom. The Magic of Well-Being gently welcomes the reader to ponder life’s big questions, get to know themselves better, and achieve inner peace.
The Magic of Well-Being: A Modern Guide to Lasting Happiness Reviews

I cannot love this book enough.
Full transparency, Laura is a dear friend. Perhaps that's what makes this such a delight. You think you know someone and then you read something they wrote and it completely transforms not only yourself but the way you see them.
This book is a gem to read. Short (and I mean SHORT) chapters (some just a paragraph) about every facet of life and how to live it well.
This isn't about platitudes, but a simple straightforward approach to, well, the magic of well being, what else?
I re-read this book often. Really, it's that good.
