Good Read
Where do I begin....OMG... Both set of parents were something else. So much drama Autumn endured and how Cookie treated her was unbelievable. I really liked Autumn and Phor together, they needed each other. Everything pertaining to August I hated, he was definitely the Devil. Didn't expect or see that ending.....drama filled. This was a really good standalone and I recommend it. Good job DAK. -
Cookie was wrong on so many levels and I was pissed how she did Autumn. Autumn was stubborn and I was hoping she'd do what was necessary to stay off August's bad side. I will say that even though August was creepy I was glad he never tried anything with Autumn. Autumn and Phor were everything and I wanted to see them make it without worrying about how August would feel. I felt bad for Nasir but once realizing what he was on had me shaking my head. He had some nerve being made knowing what he'd been up to. I was shocked to learn everything about Cookie and how deep everything went. It still didn't excuse the way she handled things but she could've told Autumn the real before things got out of control. Nova was a trip and she did right raising Phor and giving him advice when it came to his relationship with Autumn. August was playing dirty for years. My heart went out to Autumn when August found her. I definitely wasn't expecting Cookie to do what she did but it was understandable she felt she needed to protect her child since she hadn't been much of a mother lately. Phor and Autumn went through losses together and I wasn't sure how they'd bounce back. I'm glad through all the pain they were able to go far not only with music but their relationship as well.

Dak you did the darn thing with this book. I absolutely loved it. I loved Autumn and Phor together and I'm glad they got their happily ever after. I loved Ms. Nova and Leelee. That ending had me crying. I hate to see this book end. This is most definitely a must read. This is one of the best standalones I've ever read...Great job...I can't wait to see what you have next for us.... -

WOW With parents like these who need enemies I cannot believe the drama this young girl went through August definitely gets what he deserves now don't get me wrong Cookie was a monster also but honey this story tells some tales DRAMA is on 1000 who does that .....WHAT A DRAMATIC ENDING.......OUT FREAKING STANDING -

Autumn went thru so much as a young girl. August was a real sadistic man and got everything he deserved. Cookie did her child wrong but helped her in the end Phor was her saving grace. First time reading this author’s work but going look for more story well written. -

There is just soooo much to say about this storyline, but I don’t do spoilers. Trust me, if you start reading this book you will not be disappointed. A fascinating storyline will well crafted and relatable character development. I enjoyed and highly recommend this five star read. Looking forward to reading more from this author. -
