One holiday. Two hearts. And a love language only they understand.

Molly Hines made a promise not to date after she adopted her brother’s baby. It’s been an easy rule to follow until her boss—Josiah West—invites her to spend the holidays with his family so she won’t be alone. She thought he was cute from the moment she met him six months ago. Now, she’s finding out that he’s not just cute, he speaks her language of movie lines and song lyrics.

Six months ago, Josiah West hired Molly after witnessing the cute barista getting fired. When her babysitter shows up at his apartment with Molly’s new infant, he finds out she’ll be spending the holidays alone. On a whim, he invites her home—a baby needs to be surrounded by family, right?

That old holiday magic is in the air, and these two square pegs find that it’s hard to fight it when they fit together so well.

The Housekeeper's Billionaire Boss (Caprock Canyon Romance #3) Reviews

  • Maria

This was a cute story of a single mum and billionaire. However, my main complaint with this was that the whole novel was filled with so many misunderstandings. I understand that it's just a story, but some simple communication would've solved all of the problems.
So, although the premise was really good, it just wasn't as good as I expected.
However, I enjoyed all the scenes with Ellie, and I'm really interested in reading Bandit and Bear's stories.
This is part of a series but can be read as a standalone.

I wanted something different to read when I saw this book advertised. I had never read anything by Bree Livingston before. I must say I fell in love with Josiah almost instantly. The book was great and flowed very easy. Loved it.

The Housekeeper's Billionaire Boss by Bree Livingston (5 stars)

What a great balance of cute and serious in this story! I loved that the couple were the same kind of nerdy and so they got each other's humor! Add a baby to the mix and you have the makings of a feel-good romance! There was quite a bit of angst, understandably so, but there were some humorous and sweet moments, as well.

Josiah is almost too good to be true! He helps Molly over and over again. He feels insecure in that no one in his family 'gets' his humor, but Molly does, and that is validating to him. There is definite attraction between them, but they also both have insecurities to overcome. They both love her baby, Ellie, and fight to keep her in a good family. The tension surrounding Ellie and her adoption is realistic-feeling.

This is one of my favorite Bree Livingston novels. It's just a really great blend wonderful characters and cute humor.

*poor, **ok, ***good, ****very good, *****something special

I could never have imagined how amazing this would be. It was free so I thought I would give it a go. I am super picky about contemporary romance so I am hard to please and only really get freebies until I know I love the author. Well, I love this author. The characters were nerdy and weird in the best of ways. The story is sweet and sometimes silly, sometimes serious, and very wonderful and heartfelt. I have to read all the books in the series now because I love the other characters enough that I need their stories! Excuse me while I run off to read all the books now.

Very unrealistic, but equally cute. Nerdy billionaire is too good to be true, and helps young single Mom who struggles.
Maybe in the USA you can bring a complete stranger plus child to a prolonged stay from Thanksgiving to New Year, and maybe some people are so altruistic, or young women so trusting they just go on that extended holidays with their employer.
However, the characters were very likeable, the plot as such was predictable but told in an easy-to-sink-into-the-story style - so yes, I quite liked it. Just the right book for a rainy cool afternoon.

    The Housekeeper's Billionaire Boss

Josiah met Molly at the coffee shop she worked at, that is until her boss publicly humiliated her and fired her. Josiah followed her and offered her the job as his housekeeper. The story that follows is a heart warming twist to the two falling in love with a HEA ending. Really enjoyed the book!

    Saving The Barista

Upon learning his housekeeper will be spending the holiday season alone, Josiah asks Molly to accompany him to his family's celebration. As they get to know each other, he learns Molly has vowed to not date as she is adopting her brother's child and raising her. Can he convince her otherwise or is it just a dream? ~

    Enjoyable

Enjoyable and sweet romance. Characters to sympathise with and cheer for. There was a bit of a plethora of names at one point and I’m still not sure of the relationships between all the minor character, but it probably helps if you have read the earlier novels in the series. It didn’t spoil the story though. A good read.

  • Melissa Hayford

I have loved this series! Josiah and Molly's love story is another great addition. They are both wonderful people who just need to get out of their own way. Ellie is adorable and adds to the beauty of the story.

This was such a cute, sweet love story. I love how sweet Josiah is and how he and Molly meet. The whole story is well written and swoon worthy. Bree Livingston is a great author. This is a book you don't want to miss.

    Heartwarming

I really enjoyed the individuals in this story. It was a heartwarming and delightful plot. I couldn't put the book down because I wanted to know what would happen. It was a simple story but held my interest. I would recommend this wholesome book.

Story is interesting but does not ha e a lot of substance. At least it's clean and can be recommended to other readers who don't want heavy descriptions of sex

  • Kathy

This book is the third in a series. Although I had not read the others in the series, I really like the story and the characters. There were times as I read that I knew I was missing back story but the book is still really good.

  • Paige Norman

Fun, clean, quick read. Josiah is just a really nice guy and Molly is a single mom trying to do the right thing. Both are attracted to each other, neither thinks it's for the best. Part of a series, but a standalone, HEA.

    Bree Livingston

A true romantic writer. So far every book I've read that she has written has been a joy to read, plus no errors (as a former secretary not being annoyed by errors makes a book so much more enjoyable).
