Scooby-doo! and the Rock 'n' Roll Zombie Reviews

Would have been 5 stars except the back of the book says the lead singer’s name is Rodney Pickle...but the story inside the book refers to the lead singer as Steve Stringbean. Need Fred and the gang to solve that typo mystery!

standard scooby doo. kids will enjoy it although some phrases will be hard. there isn't much in terms of clues so it's not one of those books that will make kids think.
-
This has all the elements of a Scooby-doo story, but lacks the charm of the show.

This was a pretty good Scooby Doo book, more for the younger readers than the 'hard core' Scooby Doo fans. My two special needs teenage sons one is mentally better than the other and he didn't like this book. He said that it left out to much stuff from the cartoon. But my other son and my 3 year old granddaughter did enjoy it. It was basic enough but not to basic it lost the storyline. And had just a 'hint' of scariness to it that my granddaughter would get a bit closer to me but still was interested in the story and then giggled at the end.

This is a fairly typical
Scooby-Doo story, taking the gang to a rock concert. This is a good picture book, with a short narrative and lots of colorful, action-filled illustrations. The mystery wasn't too difficult, nor was it very scary. I purchased this for our youngest for her birthday and we enjoyed reading it together. We donated this book to our local library after we read it. -
Michael, age 5, loves Scooby-Doo. He loves the fact that they are mysteries. Here's a review from Michael and his friend Edward, who says he likes Scooby-Doo books because they are "mystery fiction." You know you've got a book lover when he says things like that:

Hilarious. Shaggy and Scooby are going to see their favorite band The Electric Pickle. Which is an awesome name for a band. Whoops, the lead singer is kidnapped and replaced with a zombie. They hunt high and low for the culprit. And of course, they solve another crime. They even get brought out on stage to sing. All ends well in Scooby land.

My son absolutely loves this book. We have checked it out from the library several times. The book is just the right length for a three years old's attention span and for a nighttime book for mommy to read.
-
Cute story, quick to read and holds the interest of a young child!

It's always fun when you get to read in Scooby and Shaggy voices...
