This book was written in the early 80's,some of the nuances of queer politics are not quiet where we are today nevertheless the book has some great advice about communicating with one's partner(s). There are activities for individuals and couples in the appendix. My fave professor said that sex really occurs in the mind and this book emphasizes the importance of maintaining a fulfilling sex life begins with communication and understanding. The author does a great job of addressing the struggles that ethic women, older women and disabled individuals have in navigating sexual relationships.

I picked this up at Half Price Books in Austin, read it, and gave it away. I don't recall that I learned anything new from it.
