Witches come from all walks of life and spiritual beliefs. No matter what your path may be, this almanac has all the goodies you are looking for. The focus of this year's almanac is exploring new ideas to forge your own unique path. Special planner pages, worksheets, and articles are included to help you achieve your goals, discover your hidden talents, and explore the awe-inspiring beauty of nature. The projects, articles, and ideas will motivate you to hone your witchy skills no matter your current level of expertise, including divination (tarot, runes, pendulum), herbalism & wortcunning, and using nature's gifts of stones, crystals, and minerals. It can also be used as a companion study guide to the traditional "year and a day" of study prior to initiation or solitary dedication. And as always, it contains astrological and astronomical information, moon phases, trivia, recipes, Sabbats, historical tidbits, and everything you need to get you in touch with the Practical Witch within you. To be more inclusive for the 2020 almanac, significant improvements have been made to make time conversions easier with a larger and more defined time zone map, and charts with actual city time conversions worldwide (Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, China, Russia, Greece, and dozens more).

Of course I'm biased, but I love it.

A must-have if you are an organized witch. I'm a calendar/planner person myself and getting into the witchy-world finding one that spoke to me was REALLY HARD. I decided to go for Gladheart's Almanac because it felt right, like it had everything I wanted (which was basically a combination of my OCD self and the witch I was remembering I was). The almanac arrived a couple of days ago and OMG did I made the right choice! This calendar is like a Practical How To's on Witchery that feels like if a planner and a book had a baby which blew my mind. IT HAS SO MUCH INFORMATION and I'm not being dramatic, IT DOES. The aesthetics are beautiful, the size is perfect, the vibe is so aligned with an old witch but modern and practical woman at the same time kind of thing. I cannot stress this enough, get your hands on this Almanac. You'll thank me later. Shipping was also great and included some freebies that I LOVED.

I didn’t know how much I needed this book until I saw it. Really. Friday Gladheart’s Practical Witch’s Almanac is beautifully written and provides exactly the information we need to do what we do. Love the Notes sections as well! I hope she continues to these every year!

The best witchy almanac I've had so far. I love the art style of it and there are bits and pieces of useful information in it. What I don't like is that there are pages with random people describing their path, I would have preferred maybe some useful information or art. It's maybe even a little off putting for me. Otherwise I am a fan and might buy one next year as well!

I picked this book up from my local library as i borrowed quite a few witchcraft related books, but unfortunately i didn't realise until i was home that this one is only relevant to 2020! But i still had a read anyway!
According to google when i did some research, an almanac is an annual publication listing a set of events forthcoming in the next year. It includes information like weather forecasts, farmers' planting dates, tide tables, and other tabular data often arranged according to the calendar.
It was really interesting and went over concepts like almanac time, symbols, gardening by the moon, recipes, tarot and a lot more!
The book also had a calendar in it also and space to write notes! Overall it was a cool little book.
