Dr Maggie's Grand Tour of the Solar System Reviews

This was a great informative book, but probably would be more enjoyable for an older child (I read it to my 4-year-old son). I checked this out from the library but decided to buy it the next time I was invited to an Usbourne book party. I'll give it to my son as a birthday or Christmas gift down the road!

Every home library should have this. Our kids are grown but my husband and I both learned lots and enjoyed this book.

I bought this book to broaden my non-fiction books for children, and it has been an amazing starter! This is an amazing non-fiction book for children, in my opinion KS2 as it includes more complex language. It explores the many different planets in our solar system, rocket launches, how stars are formed and many more all in a child friendly way! There are facts, quizzes questions and fantastic images which make the learning experience even more enjoyable. This book is fascinating for both children and teachers with the information making it a very high quality text! As someone who is so intrigued by space, this is definitely a book which I will use in my teaching career and enjoy reading alone whilst broadening my knowledge on space.
