Even better than the first! The characters were more defined, and adding a clowder of cats into the wolf pack was a lot of fun. The best thing about this book was the twist IN THE MIDDLE! Totally threw me out of my chair, and it was perfect. Five-stars, of course, and I can't wait until I get to the next one in the series.

Nate is more powerful than he ever imagined and not knowing much about pack poitics, he is often thrown for a loop, but he manages to come out victorious and running the pack is becoming like second nature to him. Maybe all this is due to the fact that his wolf Koreth is there to help.
But Nate is still trying to find his footing as Alpha when he surprises the pack with a new ability.
As if that wasn't enough, the Were Council has decided that the whole Panther Clowder should be executed for their old Queen's actions. With no where to go, they seek shelter with the pack, and Nate adopts them into the pack to protect them.
For reasons not revealed until the end, the man running the council is determined to see the whole pack dead.
Lots of secrets revealed and surprises throughout the book that will keep you on the edge of your seat as you discover just how determined Nate is to protect his pack.
Can't wait to keep reading this series, the next is always more surprising than the last. -

If you want a book to keep you entertained and reading for the next book this series is for you. The story keeps you turning pages and involved. I’m on to book 3 in this series now. -
These books definitely need to be read in order. Great story, characters, clean, and interesting. Great continuation of the series. Probably good for older teens and up. Not my normal genre, but exciting enough to draw me in.

Wonderful Clean Series
This is a riveting series, different from the typical shifter books. The second book covers what happens when The Were Council shows up at the ranch. Again, Lynn has weaved complex characters, smooth dialogue, and fantasy to hold readers transfixed. Many surprises in the storyline. -
What a delight this Texas Ranch Wolf pack is. Fantastically great reading and story. The lack of sex in the book is a bonus, you are not side tracked by the sex scene, it's purely just story. Story of couples meeting and of the pack and it's people and what they are going through. Don't hesitate to read, this book and the books in the series, they are that good.

Yep! I finished book #1 this morning & binged on this & read this in full, all this afternoon! Another page-turner that was so phenomenal I just couldn’t put it down! It grabbed me from the get-go & held me hostage right through the end, leaving me wanting more! “Wolf’s Claim’ is the 2nd fantastic book I’ve read by this author and in this amazing ‘Texas Ranch Wolf Pack’ series. Another unique PNR storyline so different & not the standard carbon copy shifter books that are flooding the genre. With characters so real it’s like they jump off of the pages, both the H/h, and some new characters as well as recurring secondary favorites! ... Awesome descriptions provide action-packed suspense that kept me on the edge of my seat, and then other times caused a range of emotions from tears to funny LOL moments! Once again I was pleasantly surprised that the story held its own without needing detailed descriptions of sexual acts, tho there is some heat among loving mates ;) Even tho I volunteered to read this, it was without any outside influences and I have purchased other kindle books in this series. So yes, I can honestly recommend this must read to fans of fiction & can’t wait to get back to reading more by this author and in this awesome series!

Really enjoying the series. The characters and take on shifters are well developed. They are people you want to root for. A great series to enjoy the paranormal. I’m ready for more! -
An interesting and entertaining read. A page turner with a twist. You never know what you might get reading this one. It's a great story that'll keep you engrossed in what's happening. Overall I liked this book.
