Bigfoot in Yellowstone
This was another fantastic book from Rusty Wilson. It was a pleasant surprise, since I was not expecting another Bigfoot book after his other recent publication, the Creature of Lituya Bay. This collection of Bigfoot tales centers on Yellowstone Park, which is so large any number of creatures can live there and not be seen by the general public, since many people don't visit large areas of the park. The rangers do know what goes on but don't tell the public, as you will learn from several stories within. Rusty's stories are more than "I saw one cross the road." He is a masterful storyteller and I don't doubt you will be thrilled and spooked by the stories within. Do note that two previously published tales are included because they took place in Yellowstone, including one of the scariest I've ever read. Just click download if you have Kindle Unlimited or buy, Rusty's books are always a cut above. If you are new, be sure to check out his Bigfoot Campfire Stories series for excellent Bigfoot tales you won't find anywhere else. Veteran narrator Richard Henzel brilliantly brings these tales to life for the audiobook. He has a natural storyteller voice, that perfectly matches Rusty’s books. -
I enjoyed this book. I’ve had a soft spot for Yellowstone since I was a teen. I lived and worked in West Yellowstone for a summer. I have fond memories of the place/ park. I made over 118 notes/ highlights while reading this, far more than I generally do with reads. would like to try and verify some of these stories, most of my notes were in regard to verification (wanting to and relevant details that may help). I take the accounts with a grain of salt since they’re being related to us second hand, but I find them interesting and the book held my attention. It’s the first one that I’ve finished promptly in quite a while. I would definitely recommend this book. I only wish that there was more information behind these accounts with regards to sources. Otherwise these are just campfire tales that share common elements with reported sightings.
Relevant side note: If have an interest in Sasquatch for one reason or another or want to hear firsthand accounts right from the person who experienced it check out the Sasquatch Chronicles podcast with Wes Germer, if you haven’t already. I think I was hoping that these accounts, while interesting, were reported/ relayed in a way more similar to that.
I would however recommend this book to anybody who has an interest in Sasquatch or campfire stories. It really was a good book. -
Rusty is a fantastic storyteller who took me on a wild ride. I love that the park is as much a character as those who have encountered bigfoot, and how much there is to learn about it through this medium. As a former guide in Yellowstone, I appreciate the great amount of detail committed to these pages, making it a wonderful backdrop for "Squatch" stories.

Mysterious and entertaining
I really enjoyed these stories. They made me feel right there having the encounters myself while taking in the great outdoors. I'm going to read another book by storyteller Rusty. -
Yellowstone Bigfoot
Reading all of the first-hand accounts of the whispering and Bigfoot at Yellowstone
kinda freaks you out. Definitely a crazy read. -
Another winner
I really enjoy reading the first hand and down to earth stories. They remind me of the how to hunt site on youtube. Can't wait for the next one. -
Underwhelmed. There we're only 2 interesting stories. Read Rusty's Bigfoot the dark side. Best Bigfoot book l have read.
