The predominant view in the church today holds that seeing in the spirit is a rare gift that is given to only a few special people, or an anointing we must seek through an impartation from a man or woman of God.
With the same straightforward, down-to-earth teaching used in Divine Healing Made Simple, the author holds this view up to the light of scripture, and suggests that it has no Biblical basis. Rather than being a gift given by God to only a few people, seeing in the spirit is an innate ability we all possess, which lies undeveloped in most of us. Through prayer, training and exercise, this ability can be awakened and used by virtually anyone. The author provides Bible-based teaching along with dozens of testimonies and illustrations. There are also practical exercises at the end of the chapters to help develop your ability to see in the spirit.
Praying Medic and his wife have only recently learned how to see in the spirit. Come along as they re-trace the path they’ve taken that has led them to see angels, demons and the heavenly realms. Whether you’re a seasoned seer or a newbie, you’ll learn from the experiences and insights they share. Not only will you develop better spiritual eyesight, but your relationship with God will grow too.

Maybe I'll get it someday, maybe not.
Having read Divine Healing Made Simple, there is no doubt in my mind that Praying Medic knows a bit how stuff works in the spirit realm. I have been more and more convinced that Western society has placed so much emphasis on the power of reason and logic, that we have lost sensitivity and skill in that other part of what we have: our spirit.
God works so simple, through the laying on of hands, through pictures in the imagination, through a "pressing" and "knowing" in our spirit, through dreams. Most of these things we have learned to be suspicious of in our culture. However, the beauty is that every human being has this and this is how God has designed us. That's why every uneducated, simple person can get deep revelation and wisdom from God that the most educated person can fail to receive.
This book relies heavily on the spirit-side, but, having only just starting out to discover these things, I found this book a step too far for me at this point.
The main problem I have is that this book relies heavily on personal experience, whereby the connection with Scripture is frequently lost. I am not saying that these experiences can not be legit or that the church in Acts didn't have these same experiences. However, when PM talks about spiritual portals, letting others function "under his spiritual authority" etc, that's a bit to extra-scriptural for my taste.
There is definitely some stuff in here for me to think about, but I also believe that everything should be validated by Scripture and some of things here simply can't be validated.
"On the shelve" for now. -
I bought this book to find out what the writer's experiences were with seeing in the spirit. I wasn't looking for a theological framework or anything, just practical experiences. And that's what this book delivered, so I couldn't be happier with it. I didn't try the exercises, but I suspect that they would work.

Very thought provoking! I like how there are simple exercises included. Very uplifting, and designed to equip the believer to deal with what they see, not just to pay closer attention to what we see.

Seeing and then reading
I read this after I was suddenly propelled into the spiritual world (never even knowing that that was possible). The experiences and things Dave has seen, are very similar to my experiences. It was just nice reading confirmation about our spiritual beings and the world we must mirror here on earth. -
Thoroughly enjoyed this book!!
Another book that makes difficult subject matter easier to understand and included exercises are able to be completed by anyone with the tenacity to practice them !! -
Awesome!
Straightforward and insightful. It is the most informative book on seeing in the spirit I've ever read. I highly recommend it! -
Excellent Read!
Dave (Praying Medic) does an amazing job at explaining how to see in the Spirit. Once I read this book I was able to enter into the Spirit. -
I enjoyed this book. This book enlightened me and provided insight and advice on how to see in the super natural. Excellent book and I highly recommend it.

Although this is a good book about seeing in the spirit, I can't apply it to my life. In the end, he said its best to deliver people from spirits with a team.

Amazing
It gave me great knowledge that what I though was hard to do is just simple. Seeing in the spirit takes practice. -
I like this author. He does what the title says and makes the things of God simple to understand.
I have read five books by this author. Will buy more. I follow his website as well. He makes serving God sound like the great adventure it is. People are hungry for true spiritual food. Praying Medic is the real deal. His desire is for you to go out as and do exploits for God. -
Absolutely perfect for people who are just starting out in using their spiritual eyes. Praying Medic gives clear, biblical reasoning why we can and should desire to see into the spirit realm, especially for Christians. It was easy to read, and had good activations. This is a book that I will be coming back to over and over. Thanks PM.
