Okay, we were already highly aware of the fact—duh—but during the summer of 2014, we found ourselves sketching a lot of carefree Check, Please! themed doodles in between the intense drawing sessions of our summer courses. And suddenly we had an end goal—DRAW A BUNCH OF BOYS KISSING AND TURN IT INTO A ZINE.
And so HUDDLE! was born.

FANART!
I love fanart so much and I'm glad I accidentally thought this is the actual comic. I've read both and now I'm very sleep-deprived. -
Just some fun extra check please content I enjoyed. I’d say these books are definitely for those that are really invested in this series and have some experience within the series fandom spaces. No rating cause this is just a little zine and not the same as the books I rate.

Got to say, I thought this was going to be “hotter” than it turned out to be. All very sweet and tame. Well done though.

I don’t know if I have coherent words for how gloriously shippy & sweet & cute & dirty this sketch zine of what is probably my favorite comic ever. I bought it for the sketches, but the definitely NSFW fanfic (?) dribbles at the end are sublime. I especially love Ransome/Holster & the one from Laredo’s perspective. So glad I bought this.

Re-read June 2023 in honor of CP's tenth anniversary!:
I'm really going for the full experience during this re-read. For the uninitiated, the Huddle zines are goofy, sexy little extras, not canon to the actual story. They're basically fanart, even though some of the sketches are by Ngozi herself.
TW: nudity and sex -
I thought it added something to the main story. Instead there are some drawings and a sort of fanfinction.
Not really my thing. -
