    Unique and touching!

This story is not about a traditional, conventional escort agency and it’s not about making big money in a quick way. No, it's about empathy, providing a sympathetic ear, letting go, finding love and family first. It is romantic, has humor and a little drama. Lily Ann is working herself to the bone with two jobs. All the while trying to make ends meet and her family taken care for. She will do anything for the well-being of her family. I loved how Lily Ann has a solid relationship built on a firm foundation of trust with her "clients" and I liked her interaction with them. An excellent read with wonderful characters who became instantly familiar. You can easily relate to their emotions. This story leave me feeling good all over. I absolutely recommend it.

    The Escort and the Accountant
Lily Ann is doing her best to raise her siblings after her parents died. She works as an escort for the ladies. She has a wide variety of clients, different ages and desires, some looking for sex, some just want companionship. Kathleen lost her wife to cancer and has been closed off since. When a friend gives her the name of an escort service, she decides to give it a go, to an extent. Can Lily Ann break through the ice in Kathleen’s heart and heal her or will she be lost forever in her frozen life?

I liked this story a great deal. The characters are good, the interactions of the various characters entertaining and interesting and it held my interest… But it’s a hard to read book. It was VERY formally written with no contractions at all! After a while, it began to feel robotic and I stopped enjoying the book as much as I would have if it had been written in regular speech. I still liked the tale but might have re thought reading it had I known it was written this way.

DNF 34% - I liked the characters and the story but I found the writing style too robotic. In many places the author uses very short sentence structures and odd word choices and it kept pushing me out of the moment.

  • Odd Bin

Sometimes one sentence can put me off a book completely. In this case it was, "I'm going to release.". In all honesty, there's nothing wrong with this book, it just didn't work for me.

A delightful story of the magical touch a beautiful soul can bring life well lived.

This was such a beautiful story. So many delightful characters. Kathleen, David and even Bonnie had walls guarding their heart. Lily Ann had this old soul whose very presence was a healing grace. I cried so for Nina and the special love shared. I enjoyed Bonnie and the electric connection she had with Kathleen enjoyed once the walls came down. So much heartache touched all these amazing characters but love and acceptance soothed the pain. Oh and Suzy showed deep love and respect for family that melted my heart. A lovely story, I enjoyed so very much. Well written and tender for the reader.

This is the first book in the 'Nights of Lily Ann' series. Kathleen and Lily Ann are the main protagonists. The story is told from the third point of view.

Kathleen is an older lesbian who is alone after the passing of her wife two years prior. Her pain has put her in a rut with her life, and she doesn't want to explore new things. For the most part, she is optimistic but a bit shy when it comes to dating. She comes off as a bit laid back and isn't worried in situations where others would be. Her bold confidence will grab you. Her motto is "All bark, no bite."

Lily Ann is the legal guardian to her minor siblings. She has two careers, each very different from the other. Family is very important to her, and she shows how motherly she is. Her relation with one of her younger sisters is exceptional and strong. Her successful parenting skills have boosted Lily Ann's confidence. Her patience is very strong and natural for her. Angry people soon find themselves diffused when around her, as she knows how to tame any situation with her soft and loving demeanor. Her love for life is prevalent in each scene she is in. You can't help but fall in love with her.

Bonnie is another protagonist. She works with Kathleen and has been out of the dating market for some time. Her compassion for others is heart filled, as she can see beneath a person's outsides. She has an understanding of other's needs. She thinks things through and isn't rash with her decisions. However, her low self-esteem emerges during certain times.

One secondary character needs to be mentioned. Elaine is Kathleen's sister and best friend. She is direct and speaks truthfully. She has a big heart for Kathleen and is always there for her. However, she is sometimes a pain in the butt, and they sometimes have tense conversations. Their sister bond is priceless.

There is one POV in the book that will get you laughing. I savored this part because it is nothing like I‘ve ever read before. And the character is really touching.

The romance scenes are hot but graphic. What is really cool is that the author includes the women's emotions, which added depth to the sizzling scenes.

This book is moderately paced and can be read in one sitting. It is perfect for that Friday night read. It flows back and forth between the main characters. Many page-turning parts will have you wondering what is happening next. The hot drama will grab you, and your heart will pump as the plot goes on. This story is amazing, and I recommend it.

Nights of Lily Ann tells the story of escort Lily Ann. Discover how she takes care of her siblings after their parent's death. She brings companionship and sometimes sex to her clients. This is not a story about a cheap escort. Lily Ann is the definition of class. The women she helps will bring a smile to your face. Read to find out how Lily Ann helps Kathleen find herself after the death of her wife. I look forward to the continuing series of Nights of Lily Ann.

    🌈HARMONY🌈
Lily Ann was such a well rounded person for such a young adult age .But it fit the background that had been revealed throughout the narration of the story !😍
Kathleen though a gray background she gracefully showed her strength and confidence in her own abilities ! . But the one most outstanding piece of this story was " Lily Ann's last visit with Nina " the love and devotion she expressed and the strength it took for her to hold back the grief she was experiencing ! Oh My .

    A Wonderful love story

This is a different kind of love story involving three people. It begins with a lesbian escort name Lily and who becomes an escort to Kathleen. Kathleen lost her wife two years ago and needs help getting back into circulation. Lillian helps Kathleen to fall in love with Bonnie and the fun starts there. This is a wonderful beautiful book about wonderful people

I listened to the audiobook and I enjoyed it. Lily Ann provides her escort client with more than just what you would expect. This is a touching story about family life and learning to live again after loss. It really meant a lot to me after recently losing my wife. I look forward to listening to the next book.

    Interesting

This is the first book by this author that I've read. The book is interesting and pretty good, but the dialogue is stilted, and awfully formal, especially for the younger characters, ages 5 and 13, in the family. That being said, I'll definitely still be checking out more books by LL Shelton.

    Great book

I like the way the author incorporates the different characters together in some chapters. It kept me reading I never lost who the story was about, kept me entertained and I loved Dexter...great book

Good story, but needs better editing

I enjoyed the characters and plot, but there were many grammatical errors. The story was interesting enough for me to want to read the next book in the series.

  • Aris Duarte

This was such a fun read. The author kept me engaged with the characters. This was my first book by this author but definitely not my last

  • Reid Keesecker

questionable grammatical choices and overly formal dialogue aside, this was a unique, fun, and goofy book. the authors commitment to making 94% of the characters in this book lesbian is astounding

  • AL

This story is about new possibilities and new chances of life. It doesnt matter who is your supporter the point is to have one in life and this story is all about this. Life is never end until it is end. Beautiful book for new beginnings with real characters with insecurities.

The story was interesting, but I had a very hard time finishing this book. The dialogue was painful to read, I really had to force myself to finish.
