Oramon is a low-ranking demon who works day in and day out processing the souls of the wicked. He never expects to be given a partner the complete opposite of himself, an angel named Sariel whose lips look softer than cotton and whose cheeks always seem to be blushed and pink.

When Oramon meets Sariel for the first time, he expects for there to be friction, and yet he finds himself surprised by how well they get along. There has to be something about Sariel's love of new experiences, his curiosity, his shy nature, that riles Oramon up. They spend weeks opening a case together before Oramon realizes that something is happening. With every quick gaze or nervous shrug, the angel becomes more and more enticing. Oramon starts to pry at Sariel's interests until he's sure that he's got the angel wrapped around his finger, ready to give it up to the very being he's been sworn to hate.

Stealing the Angel's Innocence (Heaven and Hell's Romance Company, #1) Reviews

Idris MacManus' Stealing The Angel's Innocence is the first book in The Heaven and Hell's Romance Company series. It is an interesting and hot read. An Angel and a Demon really can heat up the Kindle... Oramon and Sariel make an hot partnership and the story really got me excited for the books to follow in the series.

I received an advanced reader's copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.

A good introduction to the series, entertaining and easy to read. The development of the relationship between Oramon and Sariel is quite good but the sideline plot felt a little set aside and I'd have liked to know more about it already. In any case, the series looks promising and I, for certain, will be reading the next installment.

This book.... grab you , makes you rethink a few things and you can't help going what's next for them. Also if it's happening to them, what about the others..........

Someone is stealing souls and the consequences could be dire. When Oramon, a demon who collects the souls bound for Hell, is placed on an investigative team with an angel as a partner, he knows the issue is much bigger than he originally thought. And when he meets Sariel he's not only impressed, he's captivated. As they muddle through the investigation of lost souls they also find new feelings, startling revelations, and a yearning to feel. Sariel's innocence is the most attractive thing about him and Oramon is only a demon, who can blame him for taking a taste?

I felt that this book was a really good start to this series. It hooked interest, laid the foundation for the series, and gave good insight into Oramon's character as well as a bit of Sariel. We'll have to read more from the series to truly understand Sariel's complex feelings for the findings of the discoveries in the first novella. There are some pretty big bombshells dropped near the end as well as the monumental change in their partnership that begs for more so I'm absolutely on board with reading more. I do hope we either get an alternating POV in the coming books, at the very least we need a lot more from Sariel to fell the same level of connection as with Oramon.

when Oramon meets Sariel he doesn't expect it to go to well. Oramon is a demon and Sariel is an angel. it turns out better than he expected, and he finds himself drawn to the angel. this is a very sexy read. the angel and demon are hot! would def recommend.
