The Lieutenant's Lost and Found Family Reviews
-
Nolan returns from deployment only to find his dog, Thor, missing. Through chance and luck, he tracks Thor down, across the country no less, only to discover Thor has new owners, Abby and her little sister, Harper. Nolan doesn’t want to leave without his best pal, nor does he want to leave Harper hurt when she’s been through so much already and obviously latched on to Thor emotionally. And he’s also discovered his feelings for Abby are more than just friends. How is this ball supposed to work?!
I loved this story! Small town feels, furry, four-legged family members -the new addition to this family was a cute touch-and a really sweet romance. I liked how Nolan won over Harper and vice versa, Thor was a complete charmer, and Abby had a lot to juggle on her plate but she gave it her best. -
Two series at once, Sugar Falls and Furever Yours, Jeffries has created a nice world with a veteran and his lost military dog and two sisters making the best after losing their family.
There are growing pains but there is also a love story - as a matter of fact, more than one, between the animals and the humans. -
This story hooked me in from the first chapter with Nolan, harper, Abigail, thor/clark and eventually marshmellow.
