Keeping It Casual Reviews

This was a very short and fun read. I read this one in probably 10 minutes but still found it to be enjoyable. Two guys go on a blind date and end up being just what eachother needed and the story was pretty much left open at the end which i ended up being okay with because it worked well with the characters in the story. It was well written for being so short and still made a decent story.

This short story is exactly as the title suggests. Tobin is setup on a blind date with Simon. Both dislike the awkwardness and expectations that are associated with blind dates and just want a casual relationship where they can get to know someone and there's no expectation of more. When Simon makes this known Tobin makes it known he feels the same way and from there they really hit it off.

A very short slice of life read. Readers follow along as Tobin connects with Simon, they go from the date to the bedroom, to the morning after.

Like a majority of short stories this one too suffers from it shortness. There's really no time to get to know either character well. There's no plot and the characters immediately jump into an easy relationship that may or may not go somewhere.

I liked this story well enough and thought it had promise. I just wish it had been longer and the characters could have been fleshed out.

A free copy was provided to me through Booksprout in exchange for an honest review.

    A Quickie!😁

Writing this review will take longer than reading, "Keeping it Casual." If you are in the mood for a steamy blind-date done right, you found one! Simon and Tobin had instant chemistry , and both were looking for the same things. This is always a plus when do-gooder friends set you up, right? So, again HAWT RAWRRRR MM yumminess in about 20minutes, if you read slow like me. 💋 Enjoy, peeps!

Oh, The tenses messed up the flow for me a time or two. 😕 Just FYI!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
