I read the ARC for this book and it was just incredible, amazing and etc... This book in my opinion was what I call a "page turner". It was easy to read to. I can't wait to read the ARC for another one of Bree Livingston's books called The Ranger's Peace. I hope I get these books in paperback. She is a very good author. I encourage her to keep writing. I recommend her books. Please read them.

WHAT IT'S ABOUT

MY TAKE
I really enjoyed this story, and I'm already attached to all the guys on the team. Mia was a delight, and I loved how she got under Noah's skin without meaning to. They were so good together. There's swoonworthy, clean romance and plenty of action. 4 1/2 stars.
I'm looking forward to listening to the books on YouTube. They're professionally narrated--and free!

A happily ever after
The book is a 'clean and sweet' romance story. Everyone is polite. The bad guys do horrible acts but the author doesn't dwell on it. Just grabbing and selling girls. I like books like this because they are always drama free.
BUT.......
Throughout the book the author has taken great pains to be so politically correct that even a compliment has to be backed up with an apology.
You look great.” Smell great. Kiss great. His list of greats was getting longer by the second. Whatever boxes she needed checked, he was doing it. "And I'm just wearing a cotton undress." “Never thought I’d be jealous of cotton.” Squeezing his eyes shut, he said, “I said that out loud.” She giggled. “Yeah, you did, but I ran into a door yesterday, so I’ll say we’re even.” He opened his eyes and sighed. “No, Mia. What I said was disrespectful. I shouldn’t even have thought it. You aren’t an object.”
Hear that tapping? That is me hitting my kindle on my forehead. -
I borrowed The Ranger's Chance: A Clean Army Ranger Romance from the Kindle Unlimited program.
Noah Wolf is undercover for the Guardian Group working to find a way to stop human trafficer, Harrison and his new computer expert Mia Milan is his assignment. After meeting Mia, Noah is positive she is unaware of the nature of Harrison's human transporting business but the chatter the groups computer expert is hearing says otherwise.
The romance is sweet, full of funny and humorous situations although Noah knows he is attracted to Mia and with the operation, lies it has no future. Harrison is full of surprises, the action heats up and The Ranger's Chance has a great ending. I loved a hero story that was not full of sex just excitement and sweet romance. -
Not what I thought it was going to be. At this point I can't see reading anymore books by this author if they are wrote like this. There was some skimming done and a few eye rolls. I loved the fact that it was a clean read with no profanity, use of deity or sexual content.
Rating: PG (some violence, trafficking)
Language: a very clean profanity free book
Recommend: Maybe -
Pretty good story. Loved Noah & Mia’s meet cute, the action was exciting and the romance was adorable. Overall enjoyable book.
Content: Clean, kissing -
The Ranger’s Chance: A Clean Army Ranger Romance: Book 1 is by Bree Livingston. This first book in the series is great and it bodes well for a new series. It combines romance and action with the Army Ranger honor. It is short enough to read quickly and long enough to be interesting. The characters are well-developed and are very realistic.
Noah Wolf was on a mission in Miami, Florida. It wasn’t a mission he was looking forward to and wouldn’t have taken it if he has a choice. He didn’t like missions in which he had to lie to the person he was protecting. It went against his beliefs. However, he was the only one available and Guardian Group depended on him. The saving grace of it was he was looking for someone to testify against Tom Harrison, a dealer in human trafficking. Noah wanted to nail him. Now he was to find out what Mia Milan knew and get her laptop so Ryder could get in and see what was going on. Thus, he found himself in Miami on s prink Break in a club with LOUD music looking for Mia Milan. Would he find her?
Mia Milan was a computer specialist who worked on people’s computers setting up security. She worked alone and did her job well. She had taken Harrison’s job through his assistant. Had she met Harrison before signing the contract, she would have thought twice about it as she found him “slimy”. She had set up the security system and it worked. She stayed in the area for a few days to make sure the glitches were out. She had stolen a file from him. It was suspicious as it was encrypted well. Once it was unencrypted and if it proved intimidating, she would send it to the FBI. Meanwhile, she would enjoy Miami. She would start with the handsome gentleman she met at the swimsuit contest- Noah Wolandry.
Would they get together and together stop Harrison? Or would Harrison find them and stop them. -
Great romantic suspense
I love this book. The characters are wonderful with such warmth and loyalty. The suspense keeps the book rolling along. The romance is lovely. A very enjoyable book! -
Worth reading!
A little cheesy at times but this is an adorable romance with just enough mystery and action to keep you guessing. -
This was a relief. To be able to read a light romance with mystery and not worry about graphic intimacy.

The Ranger's Chance is a sweet romance story mixed with action and a bit of suspense. Noah is on assignment and has to use an alias, while Mia is not only his assignment but has also faced trust issues with a previous relationship, so the reader can know where this is headed. I felt that the first half of the book was really focused on the physical, and even though their relationship is supposed to be based on all these things they like and get to know about the other, attraction is definitely a huge factor. The second half is more focused on the action, and I actually enjoyed it a bit more, though I always felt like I was dropped in the middle of the story, so I don't know if perhaps I missed the prequel somewhere. Still, I managed to enjoy most of the story and got the hang of most of the names in Noah's team (his siblings at the end, not so much). While the last action scene felt a bit cliche, I definitely felt for Noah's past, and I found Mia's work interesting.
I remembered Liz Krane as a narrator from a previous series by another author that I had enjoyed and thus knew the narration would be good. Now, while she pulled off most of the characters, I had an issue with Ryder's voice, since to me, he sounded like a female most of the time. Still, her performance of the rest of the cast, as well as their emotions, was spot on, and the reader definitely experiences them all (hurt, anger, fear, excitement, and everything in between).
Overall, a sweet romance (passionate kisses) that's recommended for fans of the author, the fake identity trope, or readers who are looking for some action and suspense to be thrown in the mix as well. ~ 4 stars -
Noah Wolf is a former Army Ranger who now works for the Guardian Group. His team is trying to put Harrison behind bars for human trafficking. Mia Milan is a computer security specialist who has been hired by Harrison to secure his computer network. Noah's team is convinced that Mia is aware of Harrison's illegal activities but Noah isn't so sure. His job is to get close to Mia to find out what she knows. The more time he spends with Mia, the more he is certain that she is innocent and the more time he wants to spend with her and get to know her better.
When his feelings threaten their mission and Mia's life, something has to give. Will Mia forgive him for betraying her trust? Will they get the info they need to put Harrison away for a long time?
This was a book that I checked out from the Kindle Lenders Library and enjoyed the feel good romance and story. Noah is the perfect romantic story boyfriend. Kind, gentle, protective and very handsome. I loved that the book is clean with no language or sex. This is definitely an author I would like to read more from. -
Great story with plenty of flirting, intrigue and suspense. I really liked Mia's spunk. When I first read she was a computer geek I expected someone shy, maybe a little awkward, but was pleasantly surprised by this strong woman. Noah was also great and I loved the connection between them. Yes, they were attracted to each other, but it went a lot deeper than that. Even though this is the first book in this series, the author has interwoven characters from her other series. You don't need to read the other books to enjoy this book, but it was fun having cameos from characters I've enjoyed in other books. I'm really looking forward to this series. Noah's Ranger friends are great and I can't wait to get to know them better.

A slow burn
I would describe this book as a slow burn that explodes about half way in. I liked the focus on the characters and the development of their personalities. The inclusion of secondary characters that will probably become major ones in future stories was a nice touch. The story was told from Noah and Mia’s perspective and I didn’t get a full sense of the evil of enemy from the descriptions of him and what he did. He was an evil man and maybe that could have been emphasised a little stronger.
This was a random pick from me, but it is not going to be the last one from this author. I enjoyed reading it. -
I have a several books by this author but this is the first one that I have “read”. I enjoyed this book. It is a contemporary whirlwind romance with a bit of danger. Mia is a computer “nerd” that has a business protecting computers. Noah is an ex-army ranger. He is assigned to follow her to get information on a sex trafficker they are trying to bring down. Mia is the one hired to protect the computer programs for the man they are after. Noah and Mia weren’t expecting to find love. And Noah has too many secrets he has to his from Mia. It is a sweet clean read.

Mia and Noah's story is filled with romance and suspense! Mia is a computer security specialist. When she travels to Miami to work with a new client, she gets a terrible feeling about the new client and sees things at the warehouse workplace that make her suspect something illegal might be going on. Noah Wolf is an ex-Army Ranger working at as bodyguard/protection specialist. When he is tasked with finding out if Mia is part of the Harrison human trafficking ring, he is confused by the wholesome feeling he gets as he tries to get closer to Mia.

This was such a good book! The story of Noah and Mia has intrigue, romance, and suspense and brings it all together well. It combines a previous Army Ranger, billionaire, a smart woman who owns her own business; who doesn't love these things. They take on a human trafficking ring and Noah gets shot... no giveaways here 🙂.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving this review -
I had a free copy of this book, but this is my voluntary and honest opinion. Cybersecurity expert Mia Milan doesn’t feel right about working for one company and steals files to prove his unlawful acts. Noah Wolf would like to see the man permanently behind bars and questions whether Mia knows what he does. He befriends her to stay close and possibly get information on her boss. This book involves suspense and romance and I would highly recommend reading it.
