Her Rock, His Peace: A Ride or Die Love Reviews

Tessa and Simoree were more like sisters and had each other's back. I'm glad they met Kane and Malikhi. They made great couples along with Harlem and Cassy. Great job as always.

    So Good

I really enjoyed reading this book. Simoree had it so hard after having Samir at a young age with Jamir being deceased not leaving any funds to care for his and his wife doing everything in her power for Simoree not to receive any of the money that he left. It's sad that Troya was so bitter and took it out on Samir. I'm didn't like Harlem's excuse for walking out on Simoree and Samir when Jamir passed away and felt that he should've at least helped them when he got back on his feet but he redeemed him in the end. I like how Malikhi saw and wanted Simoree when he first saw her and took his time pursuing her and spending time with Samir. At first I didn't like Cassy with Harlem after her being with Malikhi but it didn't cause problems with their bonds so their relationship eventually grew on me. I laughed when Tessa got knocked up by Kane on what she perceived as a one night stand but Kane wasn't trying to let her be just that anyway. I loved how Tessa always went hard for Simoree and they seemed more like sisters instead of bestfriends. I was hoping to get insite on why Pam was so crappy to Simoree all the time and I was glad when Malikhi put her out of Simoree's apartment. Simoree would've had been much further in life if she would've had support from Pam. If I had to state a negative it would be that they should've dealt with Sheek when they took out Trip and why didn't they figure out that it was Kee-Kee that was helping Sheek. I'm glad that all the couples got their HEA and that Simoree was the bigger person and allowed Jamyra and Jamir Jr to come around to get to know Samir.

*** I read a negative review that stated the author forgot that Tessa had a daughter named Tyanna by Mitch...Well, they were wrong because Ebony, Cassy's bestfriend, had a daughter named Essence by Mitch so their review was so misinformed***

As ususal Tyanna!!!! Interesting characters, a baby @ 13 wow, Moree mama was not worth 2 dead flies fightng for resurrection. Moree raised Samir, all alone and did the best she could, eventhough she had no support.. Samir was respectful and smart, and she did her thing as a single mom. Khi may have done Cassy wrong in others eye, but she knew what she was doing, making herself available. Harlem just waited in the wings for her, and showed her how a man that likes, loves you treats a woman, yes he could have moved out, But he was just waiting for her... Tessa, everyone needs a friend like her, no nonsense, with a man mentality, she knew Drake was only good for thing. That liquor infused night was Karma, Kane showed up, and gave her a choice about the baby, and took the lead, and checked her... Happy family with KJ who loved her.. For Moree to finally let go and get her dream & father figures for Samir was a blessing... Dreams come TRUE

    Loved it!!

This was an great read. Just what I needed to get me over a reading hump. Little to no drama and all love. I was so happy for Simoree and Khi they both were magic one he got pass that barb wire around her heart. Who doesn’t love a friend like Tessa, loud and always in go mode. I’m glad Kane could tame her butt. I enjoyed Harlem and Cass as well. I loved how the village raised the kids and that was most important to me. Looking forward to reading what’s next from this author

    Satisfied Reader

This story was well written and was good throughout. Moree had a rough childhood and a mama from hell but it all worked out. Moree had a strong support team and wanted to see her excel in her future. Troya and Sheek was grimey and he got exactly what he had coming. Yroya dodged that bullet. Tessa was my gurl and didn't play about her friend. Her and Kane are good for each other. Cassy,Harlem,Maria and Nana along with the crew. Job well done

    When tragedy turns into triumphs!!!!!!

Simoree had it hard and with a mother like Pam she had no help. Tessa she had her friends back no questions asked, her meeting Kane was exactly what she needed without even realizing it. Maliki I loved his persistence when it came to Moree, and look at the outcome. Harlem he was a really cool guy and I loved how affectionate he was towards Cassy....

    What an awesome read

Simoree had it rough with a mother like Pam she kept trying to down grade her every chance she could, but i was glad Khi put her in her place bc she was really starting to get on my nerves. Tessa mouth had no filters. They both found good men in Kane & Khi they broke their walls and showed them what real love is.

    Amazing read!!

Simoree and Khi's story will have you in love with being in love. It was good from beginning to end. Even though it started out shaky true love will find a way. Kane and Tessa along with Harlem and Cassy all make for a beautiful story. Definitely deserved 5 stars.
