But things changed when they were both caught in a vulnerable situation. Lisa got heartbroken when her first love left her for another girl, while Alessandro was losing his willpower to avoid Gretchen - his ex girlfriend and now his client's wife.
Lisa and Alessandro decided to help each other out by pretending to be together for a year. With an agreement... not to fall in love.

this book was bad. but i liked it?
i read this last year and had just stumbled upon it on goodreads (i never knew wattpad stories could be added here), so why not rate it?
even though i enjoyed reading this back then, i have to consider the quality of its writing - which was not good whatsoever. it was just a guilty pleasure for me when i was looking for a quick read and just want to turn off my critical side.
just a warning, it has a love triangle and an abusive relationship (even though the characters were religious). i know, weird.
i won't recommend this to anyone, regardless of me wanting to support my fellow Filipinos. it's quite disappointing that i have yet to read a great Filipino story or just a good story in general by a Flipino author. -
