Before I met him, I was driven. Ambitious. Relentless.
Eighty-hour work weeks were my norm.
I did everything to reach my goal.
To be the youngest partner in an accounting firm.
To be rich, successful and powerful.
Nothing could stand in my way to reach the top.
No one could shatter my life-long dream.
Especially not a man.
Until my sister gifted me a spa treatment.
“Relax,” she said. “You work too hard.”
But visiting that place was a huge mistake.
Because I didn’t count on meeting him.
Hot. Dark. Gorgeous.
And the owner of the spa.
At least, that’s what I thought it was.
It started with a beauty treatment.
But for me, it ended in disaster:
Stripped of my clothes, my career, my dignity.
That one visit shattered everything I ever believed in.
Full-length stand-alone interracial/multicultural (Asian-African American) romantic suspense novel with a nail-biting finish to the Happily Ever After. 18+: contains mature language and adult scenes.
Earn My Heart: Interracial romantic suspense Reviews

This story had some really strong points in it's favor. I liked Brandon and his confidence. He owned his spa/massage parlor and worked it. His past was his past. He had a take it or leave attitude. When he met Rose he went all in to convince her to be with him. Rose, was a little harder to like. She was a workaholic and had some mixed feelings on race and class. She quickly moved past them but she was very judgmental. In most cases she had book sense but no common sense. Running off into a potentially dangerous situation alone, the things she put up with at work and some other small things. One thing the story did deliver on, you can't judge a book by it's cover. Brandon vs. Luke , Her big time job/promotion and the spa. The first half of the story was sort of slow. the action really picked up at the end. Overall not a bad story.

I had a really hard time getting into this book. The plot dragged on and on. I would pick up and put the book down continuously, only reading a few chapters at a time. I really struggled with deciding to continue reading or not. I'm all for using my imagination but some of the plot was just too much for me.
This read a debut novel, an author still learning and trying to master her style. This is my first book by this author, but she has several works under her belt. That being said, I expected more...better.
I received an advanced copy of Earn My Heart. All thoughts are my own and my honest opinion. -
An awesome read. I just devoured it in one go. I’m so honoured to have received an arc to read and gladly review. It’s so well written and grasped my attention from the very beginning holding it till the very end. It’s without any unnecessary filler, hot in all the right places, and it actually contains suspense when it says it does, unlike a lot of other ‘romantic suspense’ books. Excellent work. I look forward to reading more books by this author

Unique read
A romantic and suspenseful read. The passion that sizzles throughout. With the just the right twist and turn in the story. Great character chemistry. Good premise though and quite interesting plot. This is my first read of the author's work/s. Will sure to read more from her; this perked my interest in her works.
I received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review. -
A Review of Earn My Heart by Jillian Leeson
Rose and Brandon - 4 Stars
This was a totally new to me author, so I was interested to see how this author writes. Her characters were well developed, the chemistry was intense and the twists that she hits you with are well orchestrated. It will definitely keep you on the edge of your seat, waiting to see what will happen next.

I admire Rose but have to say that Brandon is wonderful. He's an unexpected turn in her life path, but not a bad one. This is a voluntary review of an advance reader copy and a great romance.
