This is definitely a book for the romantic at heart!
Olivia wanting to raise money for children's cancer research puts herself up for auction knowing not only will she raise money but will get a weekend getaway in a foreign country. Gabriel was just passing through and took one look at Olivia thinking she would be great for his brother, he wins the bid and whisks her of to Paris. With his brother nowhere in sight Gabriel spends some time with Olivia, but can he let her go or even introduce her to his brother. -

An interesting spin on a charity auction. Gabriel wins Olivia - their prize, a weekend in Paris. Sounds perfect until Gabriel informs Olivia, he has 'won' her for his brother. Hmmm... possibly not the best introduction... but of course things don't go to plan! Ms Shades manages to pack a lot into this novella, which although unfolds during a limited time span, somehow feels much longer. I was immediately hooked - great story, well developed characters, and a clever scenario - what's not to love! I recommend reading this while enjoying a glass of wine, or a hot chocolate - or both!
