Olive:
When I took a job bartending at the Bucktail Saloon, the local dive owned by the Mountain Misfits MC, I ended up with a lot more than I bargained for.
These men are my family, this club is my world, and for the first time in my life, I feel like I have a place I can call home.
I would do anything to protect the patch and my reputation, even if it means I’ll spend the rest of my life single and alone.
Besides, if it came down to choosing between the men I loved the most, I don’t think I could.
Red and Tank, the enforcers for the MC, have been on my radar since the day I walked through that door.
There’s Mr. Right, Tank, dark, brooding, and a master motorcycle mechanic who really has his life together. He’s way too good for a girl like me.
Then there’s Red, aspiring MMA fighter with the random tattoos and abs for days to prove it, Mr. Right Up My Alley. I’m sure if we hooked up, it’d only be a matter of time before we ended up dead or in jail.
When Red approaches me with a proposition that I can’t turn down, one that almost seems too good to be true, it becomes apparent that sometimes the right choice is no choice at all. And sometimes a perfect, violent, quiet storm comes along and makes all the choices for you.
Bound By Steel is a steamy full length novel featuring a MFM romance. Can be enjoyed as a standalone, but if you’ve been following the Mountain Misfits MC, there’s lots of cameos from all your favorite characters! Warning: motorcycle club violence and language.

5 stars till the 80 % mark after that I hated it.....
I adored the majority of the book. The two men were so incredible in different ways and the three together were perfect. Then around the 80 percent mark things go down hill fast and frankly they never got better. I hate the end and I feel the urge to go break some stuff because of it!! Ugh. I'm off to read some fluffy happy smut now so I can recover.
***I decided to review an ARC of this book.*** -
Gutted that's all I can say about this book. Totally disappointed
I keep coming back to these books, like toothache. I really don't want to read the next book cos the previous one pissed me off but then I can't help wanting to find out the next story.
This series: it's the strangest one ever cos I can't say I'm enjoying it but also I can't bloody help myself reading the next book either!
Go figure -
Olive has had a crush on Red and Tank who are the enforcers of the Mountain Misfits MC for two years. Little did she know they've been in love with her since the first day they layed eyes on her.
I really didn't care for Tank. He seemed too babified. Even though he was always there and manned up to everything, I just couldn't click with him.
Red was my hero and I felt was Olive's as well.
I enjoyed the banter.
I was gutted by the death of one of the characters. There were unanswered questions as to the cover up. Otherwise, I would have given it a 5 🌟 -
Not my book spot
This didn't getcme as the first two did in the series and it was heart breaking when one of the main characters died it was not what I was expecting that was for sure but there was just something that didn't hit that book spot for me but I was happy for the ending. I'm looking forward for Goob and his book -
I enjoyed this well written book immensely.
The 3 main characters featured in this story are Tank, Red & Ollie (Olive), the men are both Enforcers for the Mountain Misfits MC Club & Olive manages the MC Club's bar. The author did an outstanding job building up the characters, fleshing out their backgrounds in easy to absorb pieces that didn't yank the reader out of the present day happenings to help you understand why they were they way they were.
***POTENTIAL MILD SPOILERS***
Tank, the product of a stable, supportive, accepting & loving home environment; Red, the product of a broken home & a succession of foster homes until he runs away to care for himself on the streets & Olive whose life in many ways mirrored Red's but she had a lifelong friend in Sloan to support her emotionally in times of dire need.
And now Olive manages the Mountain Misfits bar, something she loves doing: she loves the brothers, the old ladies, the 'family' they are to her & the way her job keeps her focused enough to avoid returning to her irresponsible & wild ways. She secretly has desired the 2 MM MC Club Enforcers: Tank, calm, steady, responsible & a genuinely good man & Red: cocky, funny, but always seeming to be one step from being wild & irresponsible. And both Enforcers are best of friends, joined at the hip since they prospected together for the MC Club that means everything to them.
But so does Olive: both men have also secretly desired Olive & they plan to share her.
Their story draws the reader in, Olive is pragmatic & generally even tempered, the few times she gets angry she calms down quickly & reviews the situation rationally (something I loved!). Tank is delightfully insecure when it comes to Olive, he's not the typical rowdy, out of control hair triggered biker most of his brothers are-- especially Red. And Red's overriding concern, despite his own urges & desires, is the happiness of Tank & Olive & Olive's lifelong safety & comfort.
Each characters POV is presented in chapters & allow the reader to better understand what is driving that characters decisions & actions.
The reader (IMO) comes to care for each of the 3 main characters, more so due to their very human failings &/or weaknesses, despite everything that occurs, suspense, tension, terror & heartbreak the foremost thread in the story is the love the 3 have for each other.
I got many a chuckle while reading this book, as well as anger, worry & teary: what more could a reader ask for?
FYI: This MC Club book wasn't as heavy on graphic violence or profanity as many MC Club books are but there was a fair amount of very steamy sex. All in all, I very much recommend this book for those wanting an excellent MC Club story that's not excessively gritty or graphic.

I really liked the whole premise and beginning of this book. But hate when a three some ends with a death. I wish the 3 of them could have been together. Or at least Red go and do his thing. Olive sure changed her tune and dumped Red with a quickness. I'll still read any more that come out though. Just hate the easy way out.

I HATED this book
It nearly put me off the entire series and author -
Only get 2 for killing Red off!
-
Spoiler alert, this isn’t m/f/m romance
SPOILER.
SPOILER.
SPOILER.
I HATED this book, it was all so unnecessary and poorly done, from the beginning you can just tell the author doesn’t care for polyamory and their relationship feels wrong, which begs the question, why?
Why start this relationship between three people?
Why make us fall in love with Red?
Why then try—and I do mean try, because the guy was awesome and the shit the author tried to sell me didn’t make me change my mind—to destroy Red’s character?
Why kill red?
It just felt like she never gave Red a chance and it was just so pointless, I’m not even giving this book a bad review because I didn’t like that Red died—yes, HE DIES—I hated that he was used to “highlight” Tank and then was tossed aside.
I hated Tank, he was so boring he needed his vest friend to start dating Olive, needed him to “bail” to get her, and needed him to DIE to keep her.
So, in the end, the most interesting guy died, but hey, she chose the responsible, boring, plain good boy and that’s what’s important. So not biker-ish.
Ugh this was like listening to your mother whining nonstop about how a guy is such a good boy and you should definitely give him a chance because he’s just sooooooooo nice, and to forget about the other one because he’s complicated and a bad choice. But she really has to sell the first one because the guy is as boring as he is nice, has the personality of a wet sock, and doesn’t have the balls to approach you by himself so he asked his mother to tell your mother to give him a chance.
To me, that’s Tank in a nutshell.
The relationship with Red is so redundant, you could’ve written it out and you would’ve had the same result, it was pointless.
I feel manipulated, like she put two guys in the cover for shock value but NEVER considered letting them be together, I don’t even like love triangles and I think that would’ve been preferable, this felt like fake advertising or something.
And TBH it could’ve worked if Red was actually unlikable and Tank had a personality, but alas, the author was too busy trying to teach us to pick Mr. Right instead of giving him one or creating chemistry between him and Olive, I didn’t believe for one minute that she would’ve chosen Tank all along.
I was so sad when I realized she started to sideline Red, it was painfully obvious and it happened for the worst reasons, he was the underdog, the reason they were even with Olive, he was kind and selfless, he came from nothing and was building a life for himself, and you can just tell the author had it against him from the start, it’s painfully obvious, like it’s a given he’s going to fuck up eventually, I hated that.
Honestly, I skipped the previous one because I accidentally discovered Esther DIES before the last book and that one is again about Brooks but with someone else, it seems this author’s fond of redundancy because for the life of me I can’t figure why would someone write a book about a couple only to kill one of them and then write another book about the remaining one, this is Romance not Drama, Lady, I don’t read romance for this kind of steaming pile of bullshit.
But I digress, my point being that I skipped said book in order to give the series a chance and not feel too bad that she dies, but it should’ve been a red flag that this author isn’t afraid of pulling this kind of thing, so I’m done with her, I won’t ever read anything from her and if you like HEAs you shouldn’t either. -
Tank and Red are best friends, members of the Mountain Misfits MC. Life would be perfect except they both are interested in the same woman. Olive loves how her life is. She has a steady job running the bar owned by the Mountain Misfits MC. She has regular eye candy in the form of Tank who hangs out at the bar to help. She also enjoys looking at Red but knows their personalities are too similar for anything more than a good time. But she doesn't like to mix business with pleasure, doesn't want to mess up a good thing. So she keeps her attraction quiet. Until Red can't stand it anymore and drops a bomb on Tank and Olive. He wants them to have a relationship; all three of them. Before Olive can blink, she is falling for two guys. How can they all possibly have a happily ever after?
This was my first tale by Deja Voss and it made an impression. MC books are my kryptonite and I had seen Ms Voss around the internet. So when the opportunity to try out Bound By Steel, I had to take a chance. I liked all the characters, they were very genuine and believable. It was easy to get into their heads. This is definitely one of the more gritty MC books out there. They don't mess around on Olive but there is plenty of violence and quite a surprise twist near the end. I will be checking out more of her stories in the future and I enjoyed my time up on the mountain with the Misfit MC. -
I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Olive, Tank, and Red. Olive is just looking to make money and go home to her house and do what every she wants. Well that's not quite true the eye candy that is around her sure helps with her fantasy's. She knows however that is all it can ever be if she doesn't want a label attached to her name. Tank wants Olive but being a biker makes it hard to put down those root he sure would like to with Olive. Also there is his best friend, bike brother, and roommate Red who he knows has feelings for her as well. So Red proposes a threesome unfortunately he does it the wrong way and makes Olive feel cheep so it almost blows up in the faces. Can they all find a HEA or will Olive's predictions on how she will be viewed come true?
This is an amazing story. It does have its up and downs I really want to tell you about. However I don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone. -
An MC ménage à troi
Bound by Steel, Mountain Misfits MC Book 3 written by author Deja Voss has an unusual storyline, at least for me. Unusual in that it is of the MMF genre. Olive the Bartender and Sloans friend (book 1), and the club's enforcers: Tank who also serves as the bar's bouncer, and Red who is a MMA fighter. It's these three that are in love. And it's a sweet, caring love between all of them even though there are forces out there to do harm to Olive. Protecting her will come with a price tag despite an HEA.
I liked this story. The guys are definitely not what you think of typical MC bikers. But I kind of liked that change. I am recommending this book for your reading pleasure and enjoyment. I am volunteering to leave a review of this ARC book. -
Still reeling
I love mfm stories and I love MC stories. I thought I found a new author that would satisfy both those interests in one book when I downloaded this. What I got was a book with real emotion that had me on the edge throughout the whole thing. I didn't get the HEA that I expected and wanted but I was surprised and happy with how it all turned out. I raged at my kindle and wanted to believe it all to be a lie, but I am happy for it. I read a lot of books and for me to be surprised by an ending and showing emotion like that it is definitely something to recommend. 5* all the way! I will definitely be looking at the other books in this series and more by this author. -
MC Misfits - well, they are their own family only Tank seems to have what we would call a regular family. This story evolves around family ties mostly. It has all the elements of a good story, it has the storyline, the characters, the drama, the fun, the +18 scenes, the competition, not only one villain no - you will find out while you read it! It is just one of those stories that you have the feeling while reading it that it has it all! I just hope that you like it as much as I liked it. For detailed info about the storyline, please read the BLURB, the reviews are not ment to resay the whole story...

This is Book 3 in the Mountain Misfits MC series. I have to say that I haven’t read the first 2 books in the series, but I will be going back to get them. This was so good. We meet Ollie, Tank and Red in this book. Ollie is a bartender and Tank and Red are Enforcers for the Mountain Misfits MC Club. We find out so much about them and how they meet. Ollie is such an awesome character. I really enjoyed meeting this group. I haven’t read any books by this author before and I think she did a great job. She made me feel like I was a part of the club. I can’t wait to go back and read the first 2 books. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book that I received from Booksprout.

Wow! This book took me a bit by surprise. I definitely didn’t see it coming but this book completely surprised the heck out of me. I expected a MFM book with a bit of angst and HEA between Red, Tabk and Olive. What we got was a rollercoaster of craziness full of, pain, heartbreak, redemption and love. I have to say I teared up a few times in this book and I’m definitely hooked. I hope we get more from these Misfits in the future. Loved it!

In the beginning I liked the dynamic between the three main characters Red, Tank and Olive. They knew each other for years, but didn't act on it because they couldn't choose. The problem is I don't think Tank really felt that way. The jealousy crept into their relationship and the author only knew one way to eradicate that. I'm sad for the characters, especially Red, he had a great career ahead of him. I think the story rounded out well in spite of the climatic situation. I'm hovering around a 3.5 to 4 star review.

I didn't know if I was going to like this book I usually read paranormal romance but this one took me by surprise! I mean two hot badass bikers want and love Olive. She couldn't believe her fantasies are coming true. But nothing is smooth sailing. I truly loved these characters and the storyline. Tank and Red were truly brother's, maybe not blood but they couldn't get closer. This author had me laughing then crying then laughing again. This is a must read!

3.5 stars
The characterisation in this series is pretty spot on, lots of sass, humour and brooding alpha males. And Bound by Steel presents a promising ménage relationship between Red, Tank and Olive. I just wish the stories would develop more engaging action around the MC side of life, rather than focusing purely on the relationships themselves. That said Bound by Steel was a decent read, though it didn’t quite have the HEA I’d been hoping for. -
This book is the 3rd installment of Deja Voss’ Mountain Misfit MC’s, and I think it’s my favorite!! I have loved Olive throughout the whole series and was happy to have her book. Tank and Red have been waiting for Olive and are now ready for her to be theirs. This is an action packed, emotional and wonderfully written book! Get yours today!!
