The Cocidius books feature terrifying monsters, mythical creatures, blood, puzzles, gore, and a brave mercenary getting down with badass women who fight like hell - some of them human, some definitely not. Vivid Imagination
Max Whittaker writes a good quest. The trials and action in the story is well above average. For me, this is what a fantasy book is all about. The adult situations are a little too descriptive for my tastes, implied works better than detail, especially since the books are so short.
Overall, it’s still a good series, but has fallen into a rut.
Hopefully, the last two installments will rise above. -
Really great series
I didn’t know what to expect when I started this series. But have to say that I am greatly surprised and pleased by it. Really great series and looking forward to the next two in the series. And will definitely check out any other books by this author. -
The story is getting better.
The author has started to take some time to start working in some of the backstory of the characters. Overall this book was better than the last one was. -
Getting better every episode!
Maxx Whittaker brings us back to the temple for the third episode of this great story. Really enjoying this series. On to episode 4!
