I never thought I could fall for more than one man; let alone four snarling hunky beasts

After a date from hell, I woke up hurt, in a strange place and in the arms of four distinctly sexy men all vying for my attention. But what I didn't know was that they could all sprout wings and breathe fire....

Four snarling dragon shifters were fighting to claim my body and soul, and I couldn't choose.

Worse, the man who had hurt me in the first place was after me, this time he brought his friends. And in order to save and protect me, all four of my fire breathing lovers had to defy their own clans and risk their lives.

Will I lose them all before I get the chance to find out which one holds my heart?

    Painful

Every aspect of this was painful to read and it was a DNF for me. I just couldn't stomach any more of the stilted dialogue, useless attempts at multiple perspectives and crap storytelling. This was a train wreck from the first page and just got worse. I wish I could erase this from existence and get back that part of my life.

    Great book

This is a great book and great story line. Great characters. Maia Starr is a great author of the paranormal romance genre

  • RNDK

Not one of her better written books. It read as if paragraphs were just slapped together.
The worldbuilding if any existed was seriously lacking and left the reader with many questions.

You're stuck on an island with warring Dragon clans all capable of flight and expect to stay hidden?
I live on an island and that is just not possible with FB.

In all a poor attempt at a Reverse Harem Paranormal Romance.

This is one of those intriguing & highly entertaining dragon shifter reverse harem romances that captures your attention and keeps it until the last page is turned.
It is about four dragon shifters (Weston, James, Cree & Malick) who save a young woman (Hailey) and are determined to claim & protect her against who & whatever is after her.
There is: devious wolf shifters, sexy male dragon shifters, a strong-willed woman, clan politics, dragon laws, intrigue, twists & turns, danger, enemies, adventure, action, violence, deceit, conflict, jealousy, tension, aggression, anger, shock, confusion, memories, flashbacks, tension, emotional turmoil, pleasure, confrontations, declarations, abduction, abuse, rescued, love, happiness & some steam.
The characters are well developed and interesting with distinctive, individual personalities and have attributes of loyalty & determination when faced with certain situations. The plot is entertaining with just the right amount of intrigue & suspense.
I would recommend this dragon shifter reverse harem romance to people who enjoy reading this genre.

50% into this very short book and I still didn't understand Hailey. She has an unrealistic healing to the abuse she experienced a few days after the abuse. Then the character development is just leaving a lot to be desired.
I want to see Wenston be overprotective not have it summarized in a statement!!!
Also there's the fact that Hailey and Cree somehow forgot about the fact that she had been flying on a dragon before flying with Malick but the author I guess compensates this with pretending the first flying didn't happen and going into details of the second flying.
I have tried to finish this book ,but I just can't do it maybe one day I shall try but for now I'm sadly done with this book that had so much potential 😭

    I liked it

I enjoy reading the book, it was just interesting to read how four different dragons men from different Clans came together for one woman and became a crazy family. I liked it the only thing did I noticed dead on your description all of the characters were fussy not clear. I notice about Hailey you only said that she had Raven hair and nothing else about her. Cree was the youngest with red hair and I thought the other side only remember what you said about them. In the Lost Chapters chapter 24 I think you were supposed to write Weston not James. I m going for the next book. 😍😍😍

Very enjoyable and entertaining. One thing I will say that I was really confused about how Hailey when from being on a date then badly injured to being rescued did I missed something??? I would've liked to read how they came upon her being hurt. Beside that their was plenty of intrigue, suspense, drama, action, and of course steamy romance to keep you hooked from beginning to end. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no monetary compensation was received the opinions I have expressed are my own.

Saved by Dragons - a review by Rosemary Kenny

A fabulous shifter reverse harem romance between black-haired human beauty Hailey and four hunky dragon-shifters, Malick,Clee, James and Weston, starts with their rescue of her from an evil Alpha werewolf and his pack and ends with the HEA menage that has exiled the dragons from their various clans for having broken Dragon Law in mating with another's female. Much action, in and out of the bedroom makes this a strictly 18+ story that will blow your mind! More please Ms Starr!

Nice story of four dragons pledging love to one lucky gal. In this story you find Hailey your typical bartender who made one big mistake that turned into a very great thing. Being attached by wolf shifters was not a typical not out she expected but being rescued by four hunky Dragon Shifters definitely wasn't on the menu. Along the journey they meet resistance and discord but towards the hard end found true blessings in disguise. A good read by Ms. Starr.

I did enjoy this story great characters I've given four Stars because it started with Hailey working then having a date and the next thing being rescued it does get a lot better but I would have liked to read how they came upon her being hurt aprt from this a great story. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.

DNF- I couldn't get past Chapter 5. I tried, really I did, to like this book. However, it's poorly written with very little sustenance. It's like the author only wanted to focus on telling the story, but not any character development.... at all. Everything was slapped together, and didn't flow. Would not recommend.

    DNF

Very poor attempt at shifter reverse harem romance. Characters are flat, world building nonexistent, story plot painfully obvious and writing leaves you wishing for a different book. Story also have a problem being consistent as author forgets what she wrote in previous chapter .

    Do not recommend.

  • Sheila Schwartz

This story will knock the cobwebs from your brain and kick the motor on high with the story of one women and four dragons. Be prepared for a rocking good time with miscommunication, misunderstandings and lots of scorching interaction!

  • Cathie McManus

Hailey was saved from rape by four men. Turns out they were dragons. As she healed, they became closer. Danger came from dragons and wolves alike. A fantasy with wonderful action. I was sitting at the edge of my seat, hoping Hailey would survive.

  • Angie Arnold

    Soooooo good!!!!

This story was heartwarming and I never wanted it to end. Hailey and her men have a rough start. But once all the men fall in love with her, they all have a shared mission. Loved the ending. Definitely icing on the cake.

    A great read !

I'm usually not into reverse harem stories, but I did enjoy this book A lot ! It was delightful and romantic although it has wolf shifters as a horrible species, which kind of bummed me out πŸ˜ͺ

  • Mardi Sauve

    Too predictable for me

The story was not bad, but it was repetitive and drones on in parts. It finished too suddenly and abruptly! I did enjoy some of the story, but it left me wanting overall.

  • Dharia Scarab

Ok, not a lot of development on how or why she ended up with the dragons and the wolves Slave trade.
