This book had an interesting write up and storyline, but I just felt at times it was lacking more...information, scenes, interaction with the couple.
I loved the premise of this book, but I was hoping for more depth. -
A sexy story that begins in the office and quickly moves out of the office when the boss, Porter, finally takes notice of Jayla. She is all curves and has been secretly crushing on him since she was hired but never let it slip until Porter invites her to lunch and suggests something more...if she trusts him...
This was a short and sexy romp that was a perfect afternoon read.

I thought this was going one place and then boom! Fast forward several months and

This book was like nothing I’ve ever read before. It was both sexy and compelling. I highly recommend this book if you enjoy plot twists and steamy romances. -
Since I’ve chosen to read this book knowing to some extent what it was going to be about I’ll try not to let my own preferences and prejudices affect my rating of this book. I am not that into dom/sub or any other kinky themes so you can probably understand that this book wasn’t my cup of tea. So why did I decide to read it? For two reasons. One being that I am open to try to read something new or something I am a bit judgmental about. You know, to open my horizons a bit and see if maybe my opinion will change. The second reason is that I am a hopeless romantic and I hoped for some intense romance and drama in My Billionaire CEO. Sadly on both aspects I was left a bit disappointed.
The whole Dom/sub thing is just not for me and this book cemented that. I could get past a few kinky scenes here and there, but there were moments in the book that I just found degrading towards the sub and woman in the relationship. She had to sit on the floor at his feet while he ate or wait on her knees for hours until he got home. No offense to anyone who is into this, but for me it was just appalling how close the line between a sub and a dog was. So my opinion about the matter is unchanged. I simply found nothing sexy or romantic about this.
Which leads me to the second reason I decided to read this; the romance. The book is short so I didn’t exactly expect an in-depth relationship with a complex development, but I did still except something to form between the characters. Sadly, all of their encounters were only about sex so it was difficult seeing any romance or feelings growing between them. Sure, their flirting was cute and I liked him standing up for her the two times she met confrontation, but that was it. No other time did they truly interact without some sex or for-play taking center stage. This book was only about them bumping uglies.
This is extra apparent with the small amount of drama the story contained. I was really into the the story in the beginning with Dave acting badly towards her out of jealousy and his infatuation with his boss. Her starting to stand her ground was very satisfying, however this little dispute was over before it even started. I excepted this to build up to something til the end of the book, but it was never ever mentioned again. The climax of the story was instead with some chick who out of nowhere turned crazy on the main girl with no indication in the story that this was what it was leading to. Don’t get me wrong, it was still thrilling for someone like me who loves drama, however I would have preferred that the conflict would have occurred between her and Dave instead. It would have been a way more satisfying end to the story and would have tied the book together better.
This is of course just my opinion on the matter and like I said, I won’t let my own dislike of the dom/sub theme affect my rating on the book since I kind of knew what I was getting into when I choose to read this. So to conclude I will give it three stars; it had intriguing moments, but it was too short to form an impactful romance.

This is the first book by Sedona that I have read and I really enjoyed it. This book is a quick steamy read. Jayla has a crush on her boss. But men like him aren’t interested in women like her. Plus, she has heard the rumors. Porter knew he was in trouble the first time he saw Jayla. But he is her boss so there are things he shouldn’t do. Screw it he is going to take a chance and she if she is interested. He is a Dom and he senses that she in a natural submissive and he wants help her truly open up. Porter pushes Jayla past what she is comfortable with. She loves every minute of it. Things do hit a bump that could kill their relationship or bring them closer. I love Porter and Jayla. I would love to read more about them. I look forward to reading more books by Sedona after reading this.

It wasn't what I expected but enjoyed Jayla's story. Jayla has been attracted to her boss since she laid eyes on him, but she's not his type being a curvy girl. Porter a strong Alpha who knows what he wants and gets it. His eyes are set on Jayla, but will she accept his world that's behind closed doors?
I thought this an office romance that took a turn but was worth finding. Sedona you give enough to lead the story in one direction then switch it up (at least with this one). A bit of wonder and exploration with a happy ending. I was excited throughout reading the story of Jayla and Porter. A must quick read!

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of Jayla, a young woman who works for Porter, a businessman. Porter is a Dom and wants Jayla as his sub. Jayla is attracted to Porter and when he asks her to be with him, she agrees, even if she is unsure about being a sub. They begin a relationship that is hot and steamy. I enjoyed this book, i thought Jayla learned a lot about herself and Porter. I think Porter really loved Jayla and wanted to be with her, only he was unsure if she wanted their relationship to be permanent. This was a quick and hot read. Well done.

This was a quick but very steamy taboo romance between Jayla and her boss Porter. Jayla has been fantasizing about her sexy boss since she went to work for him. Porter has been watching and wanting her too. He sees his chance when another employee is harassing her. Jayla is surprised when Porter invites her to lunch with him. The real shock comes though when he presents her with a proposition. Porter is a Dom and he thinks Jayla is a natural submissive. Watch as Porter takes Jayla on an incredible journey that will open her to so many experiences. 5 stars!

How can you not like Porter Holland and Jayla West? He's successful, driven, gorgeous and an Alpha Dom. She's sassy, curvy, and doesn't know how alluringly sensual she is. A wonderfully hot story .. there are no others to be. The characters have a nice chemistry with each other and that creates a lot of steamy scenes. The timeline and storyline are easy to follow ... except for the main characters, the book does not have much more than those two. In spite of that, I did entertain myself for a few hours and therefore 4 stars.

Short & To the Point
This storyline is a fast moving one. The two main characters already have somewhat of an established relationship, and the story grows from there. The story focused more so on the relationship, I would've loved to see them in a different setting after the initial affair, but the storyline really stuck to the Dom/Sub relationship. -

I love this how Porter Holland liked his administrative assistant and Jayla like him but his personal assistant Dave liked Porter but he was only into women and Dave was jealous of it but Porter gets what he wants and it was Jayla and they get together and the sex scenes are awesome -
Book is fast paced felt a bit rushed but still a good read. Would have loved it if there was more drama and a bit longer. But if you want a quickie with HEA and no cliffhanger then this is the book for you

One look at Jayla and Porter is hooked, but as the CEO he should stay away. When he learns she is natural submissive he will make her his. Fast-paced read with plenty of drama and lots of steam. Just wish it was longer. A good read.

Loved it
Loved the billionaire boss. I love how Jayla and Porter pushed each other sexually from the beginning. It also showed that relationship can come out of nowhere and be fulfulling.
