We will celebrate with them, as well as Elizabeth, the angels, and magi. We will also feel the weight of oppression the people had to endure under the rulers of the day.
Just like us, they experienced joy and sorrow, celebration and struggle, laughter and pain, and community and isolation.

Great insight, best when down with a group
I was looking for a more reflective study and less devotional type. This, in my opinion, is the latter. It’s great to be done with a group so, for discussions, but I’m not sure I’d recommend it as something you can do on your own.
