    2 Lacklustre Stars

Wolves (shifters), 2 hot mates who want her, and danger lurking around each corner as the heroine tries to find out what happened to her missing cousin/friend - ingredients for a yummy read right? Sadly the execution was really off. The author needed to make the relationship between the three main characters feel more believable, I didn't buy into the insta-love/feelings, something I have been able to believe in other books.

A book I found super easy to put down and which I won't be picking up again.

The book also doesn't have me keen to try more by the author.

Mackenzie Day has come to Florida on the trail of her cousin Cheryl, who disappeared after a job interview and is feared to be a human trafficking victim. Cousins Brandon and Sam Crenshaw are part of an organization dedicated to stopping the group that took Cheryl (and many other victims), and the last thing they needs is for Mackenzie to interfere in their investigation. Things get a lot more complicated (and a lot steamier) when the three meet, because Mackenzie is these werewolf cousin's fated mate.

This book sounds more exciting than it is. A werewolf menage romance featuring heroic people who stop human traffickers? Sadly, the book drags in the middle, though the ending is tight and very well written. Most of the time I'm complaining that authors rush through the plot, but in this case, I think the book would have been better if some of the middle had been cut out.

Loving Their Vixen Mate by Vella Day is a great paranormal romance full of suspense, mystery, passion, and heat. Mac tries to find her missing cousin. Fearing that she has been sold, she puts herself in danger while searching for her. Two alphas discover she is their mate and try to protect her. This story will keep you guessing about what will happen next.

    Okay nothing spectacular

Two wolves one stubborn woman. Overall the book was so-so and not really that new for an idea. I can’t say anything in it was original or interesting. Writing was okay and I just could not get into it. Happy reading.

I absolutely loved this book, so much action and a girl that just won't be controlled by a man, much less two!!

Mac is a very independent woman and I can relate to that, she soon finds out that it won't be so easy with the two hunks that turn out to be her mates. That is not going to stop her though, she has to find her kidnapped cousin and will go to any dangerous length to accomplish that.

Brandon and Sam have finally met their mate and man is she a handful, she won't stay put and gets herself in a whole lot of trouble, being a Halfling, she doesn't have all the perks of a full wolf. She is a handful when it comes to their loving too, their life will be far from boring with her.

Brandon and Sam are members of The Pack a Military organization which are fighting to bring down The Colters, very bad werewolves who are kidnapping women for their devious plans and Mac's cousin is one of those women.

Mac will not sit behind on the sidelines waiting though.. What will happen to this very stubborn girl and will her stubborness put her cousin, not to mention her men in deeper danger?

Lots of action and passion in this very riveting story. Kept me on the edge of my seat!

If you love overbearing, controlling wolf men that only want to keep their mate sated and locked up this is for you. No Sam and Brandon didn't actually lock Mac up but they never liked the idea of her leaving the house. Sometimes I think they would have preferred her to stay home all the time and just be their to use her body when they are home. Don't get me wrong she very much liked it. But I couldn't take how controlling Sam was with her even with his history with his brother. Brandon was much better in my opinion. He could give her some freedom without wanting to lock her up or beat her into submission which is kind of like that Sam wanted to do. Even if he felt it was foreplay. I've read book BDSM but this wasn't it for me. I think the 2 stars were generous. The only person I even somewhat liked it this book happened to be Jay. Can't say I liked any of the main 3 (except maybe Brandon) so right there if I can't like the heroine I'm probably not going to enjoy the story.

This story had the bones for a good read. Mac learns her cousin is missing after going for a job interview in Florida since Mac works at a Private Investigation company she knows a thing or two about looking for people. Off she goes to Florida, meets her wolf mates. And falls instantly in love. They is absolutely no build up to their love story. They meet, realize they are mates and it's all intsa-love garbage. With the help from Sam and Brandon she learns of many missing girls in Florida are taken and sold. The human trafficking story could have been good. But it felt like they were only too focused on finding Mac's cousin instead of every girl and bringing down the human traffickers. Wasted story to me. But I think this is kind of a series. Still it's one I won't be reading.

If any more of the woman in these stories are like Mac, who we are told are strong, stubborn and fierce woman even though all they seem to do with their men is apologize for not listening to them. Sam even says he's the man and should be listened to. Ahhh I can't take it. I really didn't want to finish this book but I did and will never pick up another like it.

    Interchangeable

How to rate a book that I didn’t really enjoy but isn’t wrong or bad?

The entire book I kept wondering when I would get into the story. The writing is okay and so are the story and the characters. It just isn’t special IMO. To me this book has no soul - I bet this sounds voodoo to some of you 😅

In my humble opinion this book is a mass production; clean, polished and professional. I prefer something unique and refreshing.
This world, these characters and this story are easily interchangeable. You could turn it into a Victorian Romance, make the men Vampires or have them be cowboys and the book would still work.

Disclaimer: I’m leaving a voluntary review and this is my honest opinion. I’m in no way, shape or form coerced, influenced, or paid to leave this review.
I’m not related nor friends with this author and I do not have a personal interest in this book.

I thought the story started out pretty strong. I liked the concept, the characters seemed well rounded. As I got further into the book tho, it seems like the main character especially seemed to lose her originality and turn into a shrinking violet of a character and let her "men" dictate her actions. The "BDSM" scenes were poorly written, it seems like someone saw 50 Shades and decided to run with the concept. Consent was never discussed and one of the characters seemed determined that everything would go as he wanted, no other choice.

I was looking for a good smutty read to distract from the current events, but found myself picking the characters and the scenes apart too much for any real enjoyment.

    Great Read

You have all the elements of a great paranormal romance. There are hot alphas who are very protective of their new mate, action, danger and secrets to uncover.

I really liked the characters. Mac is trying to save her cousin and takes some real risks. Her mates are big risk takers too and just as determined to save her cousin and the other missing women.

The heat level is high with many very well done scenes between the mates. They like to exercise control with her but she tests their limits.

I am looking forward to reading more books in the series.

    Loving Their Vixen Mate

Super steamy scenes, a spunky leading gal, two dreamy, hunky werewolves, and plenty of excitement solving the mystery that brought Mac there to begin with, all combined to create a story that was pretty difficult to put down. If you've read the others in the series, you'll most definitely want to pick this one up. If you haven't read any in the series yet, you can start with this one and be just fine, though you're going to enjoy it enough that you'll go back and read the others!

The fourth entry in the Pack Wars series. Mackenzie's cousin is missing, she went to Florida for job interview and disappeared. Mackenzie works for a P.I. firm and thinks that with her skills and knowledge she'll be able to find her cousin (she hopes). She soon meets Brandon and Sam and in no time at all they declare that she's their mate. Story proceeds from there.

The dialogue was what got me on this one. At another time I might have been able to ignore it and still enjoy the book, but in my current mood it just kept jarring me out of the story and made the entire book less enjoyable for me. The premise was interesting though, so I may come back at some point and try other books in the series, but it wasn't for me at this time in my life.

Loving Their Vixen Mate: (Pack Wars Book 4)

The love story of Brandon, Sam and Mackenzie (Mac). Mac has come to Florida to find her cousin. She is a hacker and her father touch her hoe to pick locks. When she met Brandon and Sam they know they were mate. You hey thought they will control Mac but s he is not control able. Ok story.

This one has been in my TBR pile for a while. I was looking for something different to read and I found this one. This is a well written story with awesome characters. This is a little different that I thought it would be but I enjoyed it. This one is worth your time. I would encourage you to get this one. I really think you will enjoy this one.

Loving their Vixen Mate was a good addition to the pack wars series. Mackenzie (Mac) is a strong and independent half werewolf, half human working as a private investigator. When her cousin Cheryl goes missing Mac quickly hops on a plane to Florida to investigate. Her search lands her right into the arms of two hot werewolf cousins.

Brandon and Sam have finally found their mate. The only problems is they can’t get her to stay out of trouble. As members of the Pack they are investigating missing women taken by the Colters, including Mac’s cousin. Brandon and Sam want to keep their mate safe but Mac is too headstrong to stand by on the sidelines while they handle things. Her stubbornness could be her downfall and cost her not only the life of her cousin but the lives of her mates as well.

The plot was well written and I enjoyed reading how the events of this book played out. Mac was a very likable character and it was nice to see such a strong independent female. However, I did not enjoy Brandon and Sam as much as I have the other men in this series. Something was missing to make me feel the connection to these two. All in all it was a good read and I will continue on with the next book in the series.

    2 men for the lady

Liked the story. It seems Mac has a way of getting herself into trouble. When her cousin disappears , she decides to go find her. She meets her soul mates and gets into sticky situations. Steamy sex so would recommend this be an adult story.
