Damaged: A very well written, fast-paced, emotional and captivating romance story of heartache, betrayal, drama, suspense, some humor, courage, hot steamy scenes, love and a HEA. This book pulled on my heartstrings and kept me turning the pages to see how the story unfolded.

If you're a fan of mafia romance stories, then this book is well worth reading.

Have We Met Before?
Charlotte💃💋 is on a Thanksgiving retreat at a cabin in the woods with her very wealthy family. It looks more like an intervention to her, though. She is the only one of The three daughters not married. Her ex boyfriend, Daniel👹, was an abusive manipulator and she finally dumped him, but for some reason her mother and father liked him, and they constantly remind her of her failure at romance.
When Daniel👹 shows up to the cabin at the invitation of Charlotte's parents, Charlotte grabs her bag and leaves!
Micah🐺🍆🌋🔪, a wealthy recluse, lives in the other side of the mountain, but he sees the smoke coming from the cabin where Charlotte's family is staying. He can't figure out why they don't leave, because there is a huge snow storm setting in.
A huge 🌳tree falls across the road to Micah's lodge, and Charlotte's car skids into it in her haste to run from Daniel👹.
Luckily, Micah🐺🍆🌋 finds her and takes her to his place, before she freezes. A convenient case of amnesia adds to the plot.

Damaged Box Set by R. R. Banks is a collection of five great books. Damaged is an emotional story with some drama and definitely some chemistry. The characters Micah and Charlotte are very intriguing, they are both strong but yet a bit vulnerable. And let’s not forget the ever great dog Scout definitely a great addition to this story. His Property another fantastic Book in this set it is suspenseful, it is dramatic and it was definitely steamy. Loved The charters Harper and Rob have a great chemistry and some really great dialogue. Next is Forbidden this is Veronica and Jude’s story. He is a professor and she is his student and this is where the real excitement starts. The Wedding Proposal is Cherry and Gabriel’s Story this is an emotional love story that will capture your heart and keep you hooked till the end. And then we have Holiday Heat this was a great holiday love story and was a great way to end this fabulous book set. All these characters and storylines were fun with some excitement a touch of drama or suspense with a whole lot of steamy chemistry between all the great characters. These are stories that will keep you on the edge of your seats there are plenty of ups and downs with a lot of twists and turns that will have you turning the pages as fast as you can. All of these book are well worth the price so just one click this set and I believe you will totally enjoy all these great stories. First book was the best. Unfortunate circumstance brought them together but I loved how they saved each other.
Second book pretty good, nice to see two people, although appearing to be opposites, come together.
Third book was OK. Just didn’t feel as connected or into the characters. Not as much of an emotional connection for me.
Fourth book not bad. I like the idea of two people reconnecting from the past but the terms of their relationship was kinda weird to me.
Fifth Book was a great finish. The scene during Black Friday shopping was so well written and descriptive I would picture Josh scrambling throughout the store. -

Charlotte has always done what she could to keep her family happy with her. However when Daniel kept abusing her she knew she had to leave even though none of her family believed her about the abuse. For Thanksgiving her mother tells her that they rented a cabin in the mountains for the holidays. As soon as her sisters announced their good news her mother started in on her. What really sent Charlotte running was that her mother had invited Daniel to their holiday getaway. Taking off in her sister Madison's car Charlotte leaves not getting too far away before she crashes into a tree. Micah just wanted to be left alone to his solitude that is until he recognized Charlotte in the crashed car. Carrying her back to his lodge Micah left his dog Scout to look after her while he went after her belongings. Micah remembered Charlotte from when they wee in school together and he has always been attracted to her. What he never expected was that she would wake up with no memory. As they spent time together Charlotte started to relax and her memory started coming back to her. She knew that there was a man she was running from and that she was afraid of him not who it was. Micah promised to keep her safe and to take care of her. However when Charlotte did remember everything she thought that Micah was trying to take advantage to her until he rescued her for the third time of knowing her. Charlotte realized it didn't matter how she came to be there just that she loved Micah. When she did contact her family it was to find out that they still believe Daniel over her again. When she didn't immediately come home her mother told her that her father was sick to get her back. However it was just another ploy to get her back to Daniel. Will Micah claim Charlotte for his own? Will the truth about Daniel come out?

Jude has been attracted to Veronica since the first time he saw her in his class several years before but he never acted on it. Veronica is curious about Jude but has been too concentrated on her studies to think about anything else. They connected that night when he calmed her down so much that he wanted to help her when he learned she was looking for a paid TA job. Contacting her to meet with him he offered her a paid job as his assistant and she accepted. It wasn't long before they both gave into temptation but it seemed like Jude wanted Veronica only on his terms. They never went to his place so when Veronica tricked his staff into letting her in she got the shock of her life when Jude came home and went off on her for being there. Can they be together if they aren't willing to share that last piece of themselves with each other?
The Wedding Proposal
Cherry has had her life turn upside down and is looking for a job so she can help her mother with medical bills. She goes in for an interview knowing that she is not qualified for the job and if it wasn't for the lady interviewing her feeling sorry for her she wouldn't have gotten it. Gabriel just wants to take over the family business but his father doesn't think that he is responsible enough. After his father agrees to consider him for taking over of he has an heir so Gabriel starts planning for who he can pick to have his baby. Walking into work the last person he expected to be his secretary was Cherry but its a good surprise. Cherry never thought she would see her brother's best friend again after her brother died and was surprised when she learned he would be her boss. With their history is was a natural thing to be drawn to one another. When Gabriel approaches her with his business proposal Cherry agrees to have a child with him and he agrees to help out with her mother. Seems like the perfect deal and that everything would fall right into place but they were both wrong. What happens when real feelings come into play and Gabriel's father has yet another expectation of his son?
These are amazing stories within this box set. Each one will captivate you from beginning until end. This is a well written and very entertaining box set. I would recommend this set to any book lover.

As usual, Author Banks has hit a home run with this collection. Each book had unforgettable characters and a steamy love story. I especially liked the story of Roberto Rossi, the Mafia boss. His desire to go legit was evident from the first and his inherently good guy personality was evident with his saving Harper. Enjoyed every aspect of these books.

Some were better than others, all of them have a "damaged" person(s) who were afraid to love again. Worth buying. -

i read this box set as part of an arc program.
Damaged- I loved this book about a mountain man and his second chance at love. Micah was a former football player who had hopes of playing professionally. When an accident ended his football dreams, he decided to change his major in college and eventually he made his fortune in the tech industry. After he made his fortune, he moved to a secluded home he built in the mountains where he lived with his dog Scout. On Thanksgiving, a snow storm was moving in and he noticed the home across the mountain was occupied and he wondered if they were prepared for the storm. Micah decides to check the road after hearing a loud crash and finds a woman unconscious in the car. He takes her to his home and tries to help her. Charlotte was at the other cabin with her whole family when her ex-boyfriend Daniel shows up. Charlotte left Daniel after his years of abuse and she has finally started to heal. Her mother invited Daniel to the cabin in hopes of them getting back together. Charlotte's parents never knew the real reason she left Daniel and they think she should go back to him because he is will to take Charlotte back. Charlotte flees the cabin, but instead of heading down the mountain, she heads toward Micah's home where she crashes. When Micah realizes the woman he found is the girl he had a crush on in college, he knows he will do anything to help her. Charlotte awakes with no memory of who she is or where she is. I loved this story. I loved Micah, the grouchy mountain man. Micah put Charlotte above everything else and only wanted to protect her. Things don't run smoothly for them but they have a great connection.
His Property-I loved this book, it's another great one from RR This book is about a mob boss named Roberto (Rob) Rossi who moved from New York to LA and was trying to cut ties with the criminal world and legitimize his businesses. Rob's father was a ruthless mobster and Rob hated it, he wanted to be a better man. When he learns his Uncle Marco has made a deal with Landon, a hustler who owes a lot of money to the family, which has Landon selling a young woman to a known porn producer without her knowledge, Rob calls the deal off and decides to keep Harper at his mansion until Landon pays the money he owes. Landon is furious and teams with the porn producer to get Harper back and get even with Rob. Harper is a little naïve and is from a small town in Georgia. Harper moved to NY to be a singer and she think Landon is helping her meet the right people. Harper is confused as why she has to go to Rob's house and she is a little scared to be there. Harper is a virgin and thought she was in love with Landon, but the more time she spends with Rob, the more of a connection they form. Rob has feelings for Harper and he doesn't want her to go back to Landon, he wants her to be his, but he also wants her decision to stay to also be hers. This was a really good story that had twists and turns and lots of danger. I love how the story was told through Rob, Harper and Landon. Rob was a really good guy who wanted to be a better man and Harper was good for him. I loved their chemistry.
Forbidden - I enjoyed this story about a college professor who has suffered unimaginable loss and his journey to finding love again with a former student. Jude was a man who seemed to have everything, a great career, good looks and more money than he needed. He was also a loner and didn't think he could ever open up to someone. When Veronica decides to look for work as a TA in her final year of college, Jude overhears her inquiry and decides to offer her a job as his TA. Veronica is majoring in dance and when she learns the TA positions are not paid, she thinks she will have to look elsewhere until Jude offers to pay her himself. Veronica is attracted to Jude but thinks it will never lead to anything. Veronica is still a virgin and she has no interest in a relationship, she has secrets of her own past that left her unable to trust and open to people. Jude thinks he can seduce Veronica and then move on, only it is harder than he thought to move on. They have an emotional relationship where both are unable to really open up to each other and their past secrets may tear them apart. This was a good story. At times I wanted to hate Jude and then I felt sorry for him. Veronica was trying to be patient with Jude, but has to decide if he is doing her more harm.
I will be reading the rest of this set and i expect to enjoy it as i do with all of RR's books. -

From the very first page, I was spellbound by these fantastically described characters that you will find yourself falling in love with and some you will hate. I really enjoyed reading these books and the momentum of the stories keeps you wanting to read more that you can’t put them down! You get something different from each book—bad boys, over protective billionaires, and a mountain man—something to keep you asking for more.

I loved the characters of Roberto Rossi, Harper Wilkins, Landon Hall. Roberto (Rob) is heir to the Mafia crime family. Landon was confronted with an opportunity, so he and Harper moved from NYC to LA. When Roberto meets Harper, sparks start flying between them. This book will take you through an emotional journey of trust, commitment, and love.
FORBIDDEN - This book was hot. Jude Ford is so freaking SEXXY and HOT!! Pure pleasure. Dirty. Decant—sums up Jude and Veronica’s relationship quite succinctly. This is the ultimate dark taboo of professor/student or older man/younger woman forbidden love story. Sordid but once you become a part of their lives, the unpleasantness falls away.
WEDDING PROPOSAL - Loved this book and it is one you NEED to READ—you won’t regret it! Proposals, wedding, contracts, inheritance, expirations, jealously, and passion continue to keep you glued to the pages of this fascinating story. Cherry Spencer was engaged to be married to her fiancé Anthony, but how can you get married to someone who IS already engaged to someone else!! Gabriel Reed is heir to his family’s business, but in order to inherit the business, Gabriel’s father put some stipulations for his inheritance. You will need to read to find out what happens and what stipulations were in place, but it will be worth reading. This was an enjoyable book with an interesting plot and dialogue, and it keeps you reading to the end—it will pique your interest and drawn you in.
HOLIDAY HEAT – This was an enjoyable read and entertaining. Cristina Isabel and Josh Worthington are complete opposites. Josh was engaged to Willa Sommers, the bitchy, arrogant and spoiled woman who looked down on people. Isabel cleaned the offices of the building and she has a little boy. If there ever seem to be two people that are total opposites—its Isabel and Josh, so when passion emerges and becomes too much to deny anymore, they each scramble to try to protect each other; but they have a chemistry that keeps pulling them together and their sex is off-the chart hot!! You will need to read to find out what happens, but it will be worth reading. This was an enjoyable book with an interesting plot and dialogue.
These stories will pique your interest and draw you in from the beginning to the very end. -
A romance filled box set of several previously available stories by this entertaining author. So many different characters and personalities. There is suspense, hilarity, drama. heat. Pull up a cozy chair and dive in.
Book1: Damaged
This is an entertaining read, although I would have liked more background into Micah's past and Charlotte and Daniel's early relationship instead of having to guess/assume? The way it is written, early on, I found myself sometimes wondering what her deal/attitude was. She seemed hard, bitter, touchy. As the story continued, seeing as she is the heroine, I made myself look past, and came to the conclusion that if it was not her issue, then her family was atrocious! No wonder she acts as she does!
The book is full of powerful emotions and learning to have the strength of your convictions.
Book2: His Property
I truly enjoyed this mafia story. The story is told through several points of view which, in this case, I think, enhances the story. We get to see what each person is seeing and feeling within a certain scenario, and therefore get to see more than one facet of each individual. Not everyone is only good or bad. The decisions in life that we make help define who we are and who we become. The growth within the main characters and their determination to change their lives for the better shines through. It was a great story that kept you riveted until the final page. Well done.
Book3: Forbidden
Be ready for "Forbidden" to tear at every emotional string you have. Jude and Veronica have both experienced immense pain in their pasts. Each has built their own cocoon of protection to "hide within" from their suffering, from the world, from themselves? Their strength of character draws you in and compels you along to experience this journey. Each struggles in their own way toward an awakening or to remain status quo. At least Veronica has her best friend, Javi, for support and as a sounding board. (Everyone should have a "Javi" in their life!). Jude has no one. He is alone in the world, in his misery, in his head, in his misery. This only engulfs the reader more in his character - wanting to be his sounding board, his friend to slap some sense into him or lend an ear. Are these two merely tearing each other more apart or can they help each other heal? Truly a powerful, heart-rending story. I couldn't put it down! Amazing! ( Have to say...I think this was my favorite)
Book4: The Wedding Proposal
Sweet, funny (OMG the laundry room scene!), romantic read. Cherry and Gabriel have a history together, and the secret heat from their past scorches the pages. A quick (sometimes, too quick/rushed feeling) entertaining story into which I truly enjoyed escaping.
Book5:Holiday Heat
I enjoyed this story. Two different backgrounds, incomes, life styles, life choices. But Josh and Christina find a connection and it is a joy to see their relationship develop. Josh, while being a wealthy retail giant company owner - inherited from his father - and used to a certain way of life, he is not pretentious or snobby. Christina realizes, he just doesn't know. Oh, he may know numbers and strategies but not what it's like for his customers. So she takes it upon herself to teach him - making him shop like a civilian on Black Friday. And it is hilarious...and so true!

Another brilliant story by R. R. Banks. Charlotte is meeting her family for Thanksgiving at a cabin in the mountains, but a storm is coming, on so many levels. Charlotte, in an amnestic state, ends up sharing a cabin with Micah until the storm blows over. Together, they seem to fit perfectly as their chemistry quickly unfolded. There are so many layers to this intense love story, and I was glued to this book as the events unfolded. Charlotte is a strong woman, a survivor who is finally standing up to her overbearing family. Micah shares many of her traits, and has his own demons to conquer. Both were isolated and damaged in their own way, and healed themselves and each other. Emotional, intense, beautifully written.

This is one of Mr. Banks' earlier books, reworked and I flove it! Rob is a Mafia boss with a twist and saves the musically talented Harper without her even knowing. I really liked that we got a glimpse of their lives before meeting, and how they reveal themselves when they are together. Harper is genuine goodness, with a major talent to boot. Rob is a good guy under his fake bad boy veneer, and he surrounded by people who are loyal to him through admiration rather than fear. Adored the characters in this book. Besides a great love story, there is action, danger, intrigue, betrayal, and a soul-altering decision to be made. Greatly enjoyed.
Forbidden
R. R. Banks held my heart in his hand, slowly squeezed it, crushed it, and put it back together. That's what it felt like. This book was full of powerfully delivered intense emotions, being strong in both plot and characters. The story itself was beautifully unexpected. I enjoyed the unfolding story so much, I don't want to write anything that might spoil it, but this book seriously delivers.
If you are a fan of R. R. Banks, you will savour this book. It will shatter you & put you together again. If you've never read his work before, this is the one with which you need to start.
Wedding Proposal
Cherry is a loving, naive young woman. She's had to deal with some tough stuff in her life, but she bounces back, eventually. Or maybe she's dragged back by her best friend, Jess. Life goes on, and Cherry's story lands her a job with her brother's bf Gabriel. Gabriel himself is in a bit of a bind, and his proposal can help both of them. These characters, they're like people I know. Not particularly larger than life, but real people with their flaws & mistakes, struggling to make things right and grow into better people. This story is relationship driven, not just between the two characters but with many people in their lives. Mr Banks has taken his time letting this process occur & it really made me love the story more. I *floved* the washing machine scene. Also, the peaches.
Holiday Heat
Josh wants to do right by his deceased father and he is living an unfulfilling life by doing so. Enter Cristina. She might not come from money but she has similar values to hard-working Josh. Cristina drags Josh into her world, and opens his eyes. Set around the holiday season, this heart-warming tale of finding happiness, and true love is not to be missed. -
I've read all of these books individually. This is a great deal on 5 great books!
Book 1 – Damaged
So, I read this book right before Christmas and have been mulling over writing a review. I finished the book and was quite angry...like throw my kindle down and growl kind of angry. The main character's family really really irked me. After giving it lots of thought I realized that my response is a testimony to Mr. Banks writing. If an author is able to garner those kinds of emotions from readers, then said author is doing his job well. I will say this book is a little on the short side - especially considering the heavy subject matter. Sure, it is a love story, but it really is touching on an issue that more people than you think have to deal with. I applaud Mr. Banks for writing something beyond your basic love story. I think it makes it more "real" for the reader.
Book 2 – His Property
Somewhere along the way I heard that this book written by R.R. Banks a year or so ago and was only just now being released. I'm not sure if I was expecting it to be not as good as some of his more recent books that I've read or what, but boy was I wrong about that. This book is very well written and kept me enthralled the whole time. It's told through 3 different point of views, but that only adds to the story...it doesn't make it confusing at all. I genuinely liked all of the characters - both the good and the bad guys. It's very action packed and will keep you on the edge of your seat - especially through the climax at the end. This is definitely worth a one-click. You won't be sorry!
Book 3 – Forbidden
R.R. Banks has the ability to really grab your attention and keep it from the first paragraph to the last. This story will take you on the emotional journey of both the hero and the heroine. That journey leads them to each other, but their scars might just keep them from overcoming their past and being happy together. It's obvious that Mr. Banks does a lot of research in presenting his characters in such a believable way. I find that unlike a lot of books I read that I'm not rolling my eyes and thinking, "yeah, right" at the reactions of his characters. And he has a great sense of humor (Javi, anyone?). This is definitely a book worth owning that I highly recommend.
Book 4 – The Wedding Proposal
With each new book I read by R.R. Bank I swear I love it more and more. This one is no exception. I find the romances in his books sweet and not over the top with too much sex. There is just enough, and it is steamy without feeling like you are reading porn. I really like the characters and found they had great chemistry together. I loved reading their story (got lots of laughs too) and am sure that you will too.
Book 5 – Holiday Heat
R.R. Banks is at it again. He manages to create a unique love story that is both sweet and steamy. I love how the two main characters got to know each other over time and didn’t fall instantly in love. It makes the story more believable. Two thumbs up from me on this one! -

This box set is 5 stories,,,, 4 stories already out and the 5th is different,,,,, these stories go anywhere from a family in the mountains just in time for Thanksgiving,,,, Charlotte is with her parents in a mountain getaway, she is single after breaking up with her loser boyfriend which her parents and siblings loved and for a suprise invited him to stay with them,,,, Charlotte says enough,,, borrows her sister's car,,, gets into an accident, has to be saved by this mysterious mountain man named Micah to a different story focusing on a mafiahead named Rob and an innocent, naive small town girl named Harper,,,,, I'm telling you,,,, these 5 stories are all different works by the amazing author R,R. Banks,,,, I havent found a bad story yet from this author, let alone 5 for this price,,,, it's a steal,,,, get this box set while you can,,,, !!!
I would do recommend this box set to anyone that asks,,,,, or doesn't,,,, LOL
