    4.5 Stars. After reading the first three books in this series I found myself eagerly awaiting this one. The .5 star reduction from a full five is due to the fact that the logical side of my brain kept thinking "where is the actual army"? It's a bit far-fetched to think these cadets get thrown into situations that you'd figure would be dealt with by the actual forces or other occupations. But here's the thing. I didn't even care that much because I really, really enjoyed the story. And I kept having to remind myself that these cadets are older than what we normally think of cadets, and with far more intense training. At any rate, I hope this series continues with these characters, especially Jiden, the Admiral, Will, and the few surrounding friends. It's getting very interesting.

    Such a good read! Lots of action. Really liking the mc, so much happens! On to the next book in this series!
