This series was good as heck
Quan Millz this series was off the chain i really loved how u did the ending even though Austin was a father to Myyah from the time of her birth until her death her mother & grandmother was looking at her as a payday but all tht changed whn her grandma won a lawsuit & required Austin to get a paternity test the judge awarded him the money but he still gave Evenlyn some of the money well at least he found love with Katrina got married & now is having his first child. This title may be ratchet but the content is bout life experience so yes i'll be reading more of this author's books -
Pain and hurt but also compassion
The book was hurtful because of what Myyah had to go through. She had to deal with her mom and her mom mama which they was ungrateful. All they saw was to obtain and keep Murray money and didn't care less about the welfare of Myyah. The sad part was she knew she was going to pass on living with these people. Overall, even though, Austin nor his mother was no Kim to Myyah, they show love to her and was willing to take her from the place she was living in. This book brought tears to my eye because a little girl lost of life so people can learn to work out their differences amongst one another. -
Wow!!!!! So this series is finally over! I will say,
Some things toward the end were rushed. Some things were never resolved. The final book had some twists that I wasn’t expecting. I really didn’t expect it to take turns where it did. I deducted 1 star because of some loose ends that I felt are in the book. Also, many small errors, of all three books this had the most! It’s getting to a point where I will not be able to give a book 5 stars due to this. Context clues work but, some readers aren’t trying to re read lines and figure out what the author meant. It takes you out of the story. Also, once or twice the wrong character’s name was in the wrong spot. More errors as you get closer to the end, especially the name mixup, point to the ending being rushed... -
SMH Fredquisha
I am so sad Myyah died! 😔 I was praying that she pulled through! Fredquisha and Her Hoe azz mama got EXACTLY what they deserved. Fredquisha didn’t have the best mother figure so she acted just like her mother. She waited til it was too late to want to be a better mother. I was hopping her landlord was getting killed with her 😩. Her mother was back stabbing and conniving all over some money! Money is the root of ALL evil. -
Another Head Banger
To this ish is REAL an happens all over the world. Quan even though your title be wild as hell. The catch behind the situation be on point, so very true. Myyah my baby S.I.P, there so many Myyah's out in the world. Austin I tilt my hat to you brother, loved his mother. Mrs. Watkins character was absolutely beautiful. Quan Millz you keep writing an I'll keep buying. I want all 3 books in paperback. -
Yes this book was 🔥🔥🔥
This is why I don't rely on reading chapters, the actual book is so much different. Once again Quan Mills, has delivered a masterpiece. Dad that Myyah ended up dying but Austin came out on the top. This author should not be passed over. His books are one of a kind. -
Wow amazing
You know when you read some of these books, they become predictable, but not this one I couldn’t have even predicted these turns of events, well written, I am truly glad things turned out the way that it did despite what happened to Myyah, I am amazed at Austins strength and humility, well worth reading 10 stars if I could give them! -
Wow
I was not expecting it to end the way that it did poor Myyah I wish she would have pulled through her momma who’s name I’m not gone try to spell got exactly what she deserves I’m so happy for Austin and his family they were truly good people and they came out on top n the end good read -
Did not see this coming!
I am absolutely in awe of this read! It took me 5 months to download this book. I kept saying, this is not something for me due to the title! The saying goes, don't judge a book by it's cover, I did just that, and have now learned my lesson! Please do not let the title fool you! The series is awesome! Thumbs up Quanz Milz! -
I HATE BUGS
I HATE BUGS!!! "Nasty suckers!"
I did NOT want that sweet baby girl, MYYAH, to die. She didn't even get chance to live life and experience the GOOD of the world. I was really praying and holding faith the whole time I was reading. Fredquisha and her family got exactly what they deserved! Austin and his family did deserved the settlement. They underwent a lot of pain and suffering and no one seemed to give a damn. -
Great 👍 read
This is a sad 😢 but true inspirational story. Oh that Fredricka or whatever her name was had me hot 🥵 💯 I wanted to killed her my damn self I’m glad karma came for her but this story goes to show that many of us Chicagoians grow up in these conditions and over come them as well and many don’t survive I will definitely recommend this series to anyone who asks -
R.I.P MYYAH
Wow the final installment to this series was very heartbreaking. Poor little Myyah has gone through so much at the hands of her mother. The system failed her like so many children today who dont make it out of their dangerous home situations. I was happy that Katina and Austin met and developed a relationship. -
Whoa
Good story line. It literally takes you on a rollercoaster. Although poorly written and not really any development in characters; with other side stories being left off and rushed at the end with no real answers, it wasn't a bad read. I'm not disappointed I read all three books.. I'm also glad it stopped being about roaches!!! -
Didn't see that coming
That was an awesome wrap up. Austin is such an inspiration and his actions admirable. I would have liked to learned what happened to Deonte's baby mother in light of the heinous crime she committed. Mr. Garrison was just as bad as Evelyn but I'm aware everyone cannot be saved or inspired to change. Good read. -
Tear jerker
Man I feel like someone really close to me is gone. I can't believe she didn't make it but I'm glad Austin pulled through. This book was definitely not what you would expect with the title that it has but it was most definitely a great read. -
Great Read
Wow what a finale...this book taught so many lessons, with a title like this, you would think it would all be fun and hood, but it was definitely an eye opener on life ups and downs. -
Great series
It was actually a great series. The title was catchy and the story was hilarious. It did have a sad part that can actually be based on some of the horrible realities of unfit parents but overall I enjoyed it. -
Excellent
I loved all three parts to this book. Evelyn and Fredquisha should have been arrested. This book had me wanting to read more. I am glad that Austin found happiness after all. Thank you so much for the good book, and keep the good books coming. -
I shed a tear
Omg I’m so saddened by the fact that Myyah didn’t make it. Her mother should have gotten beat down instead of killed so that she can be haunted for the rest of her life!! Can’t wait to read more of your books. -
Did not like the ending
Forgiveness is fine and all but Austin was a damn fool to help Evelyn and give her anythibg. Had the show been in the other foot she would not have given him anything -
Smh!! Total disappointment!
Number 3 is so far away from book 1 & 2! Happy this series is over! Really was into 1 & 2, I read this one in 3 hours, although I was no longer interested once Myyah died. -
Exceptionally good ending!!!!
I loved the biblical ending to the story of loving your neighbors and how nothing happens by mistake. GOD for me truly has a hand in all thing's, even this gritty, story about abuse, murder, love and lust in Chicago. Loved it. -
This was a very hard book for me to read due to the abuse!!! But I'm glad I finished it and would definitely recommend this series to others. Quan Millz ability to tell a story so well that you feel as though you are right there with the characters is phenomenal.
