Let me start off by saying this cover was very eye catching, I loved it. This is my first book by this author and definitely won’t be the last. This book drew me in from the beginning. I’m sure every woman can relate to how Halo was feeling with Quest. Quest had some very selfish ways and the choices he was making proved this fact. I don’t think you can read this book and not have any feelings toward it. I will say I’m happy about the ending. I loved Halo’s mom and Quest dad. His dad didn’t sugarcoat nothing even for his son. Halo’s mom didn’t allow anyone to run over her children or grandchildren. I strongly recommend this read. -
Rainbow After The Storm
Halo was truly a good mother and wife that Quest was just to selfish to appreciate and value. He should've had Halo checked out at a hospital instead of playing with her life and she should've went by herself or called an ambulance.Quest was a weak man to let Kenny’s words allow him to switch up because you're supposed to make positive changes when you have a family to provide for. Even through the storm, everything worked out well for Nasir saving Halo's life and being the real man that Halo, Quest Jr., and Harmony needed. Nasir name means helper and he truly lives up to his name. -
Loved It
I really enjoyed this beautiful story of life after a major heartbreak. Halo was the dutiful wife who just wanted her husband to consider her feelings as well as the children. Quest was selfish and no regard for his role as a husband and father. When the family is faced with a life or death situation he really showed his true colors by walking away and never looking back. I was happy that Nasit came into Halo's life when he did. He was her fresh air and new lease on life. Great story of when life hands you lemons, you make lemonade. Excellent job B. Moni -
Fairytale
Yes yes yes come through with this outstanding read!! Honey the display of love loyalty faith and rebirth you delivered that. This book truly touched me personally. When you think and feel that you are secured God gives so many warnings along with signs of blessings. Just going prepare for my Nasir. You ask and shall receive!! Come through second chances. Yes 5 stars plus 5 more!!! -
Just ok
I was expecting more but if was just ok. Writing wasn't the best but it wasn't terrible either. Quest's behavior was unexplained which I thought was weird especially for him to do a complete 180. Wish there would have been more Nasir/Halo but by the time they got together it was the end of the book. And what's up with the fast forward of their one and only sexy time together?! -
Bomb story
I loved this book from beginning to end I can’t believe how the husband turned out I would have never imagined that outcome, but I’m glad she finally found love in the doctor a love that was so amazing to see come to the forefront OMG and the way he loved those kids regardless pure amazing -

Man eff Quest! I can’t believe he did Halo like that ol selfish bastard. I’m glad that Ashley decided she couldn’t stick around with someone like that. I’m glad that Halo found someone that truly appreciated her & her kids. The title was perfect for this book. -

Love a happy ending. I would have liked more details on the characters and their different situations. The book was good but it wasn’t a page turner for me. There were some minor word errors but that would be an easy fix. Other than that I would read more by this author in the future. -

Great freaking book boo. Every time you put out something new your pen game becomes greater and greater. Loved the storyline and characters. Sometimes you gotta go through the bad sh*t to see who is still around for the good. Loved it. Can’t wait to read what’s coming next. -

Omg! This was such a great book and hit the mark on evoking emotions! I actually cried a little lol Although Quest was a bi+ch, I was happy that Halo didn't fold and let him stop her from living her life. Nasir stepped in at the right time to be her saving grace and I couldn't be happier for Halo. She deserves it. Great job B! I will be reading more. -

This story spoke volumes to me. Halo and Quest. Made you realize that even though you think you know some you really don’t. Nasir made you believe in love again after you feel that all hope is gone. Great read. -
Perfect
The novella was written perfectly it showed the how and downs of marriage it showed what some women go through when then they stay and everything. I loved Halo in here she showed a true woman Nasir was the perfect man her. Quest true color showed and I'm so glad -

So glad Halo had the right man in her corner that was willing to pray for her and make sure she was good. Didn't expect for the turn of events to happen but glad that Halo was able to be happy. -

All in all I liked it. Great story line but I was looking for it to be more descriptive. The end was a bit rushed. I wanted to know more about Halo and Nasir’s relationship. -

Quest was an entire mess! How did he let an argument with a family member dislodge him from his entire life! Halo was right for staying on his butt because he was definitely out of line. Nasir was the missing puzzle piece in so many ways. -
