The Prince's Romance Gambit, Vol. 2 (The Prince's Romance Gambit, #2) Reviews
-
Still OTT, still fun. Still want to see how it ends. 3 solid stars.
-
Such a funny and unique series, gives me a bit of Ouran vibes.

The topy tursy courtship and adventure of (Prince) Hatsuyuki Ichimonjim, the endearing and (not wealthy) commoner Koume Yoshida with the hear of gold. And of course their friends and confidents. Volume two brings more themes of CONSENT, of having a inner circle of friends to whom you can be yourself with and the being a person that's easy to love--a person that helps others and enriches their lives. Another great volume.

2020 Read #192
Not as good or unique as the first volume, but I still liked it more than more shojo series I’ve been reading. My main complaint was the entirely useless romantic rival subplot, which I always find irritating in any manga. Hopefully volume 3 will get back on track a bit more! -
Love it
I can just imagine Tamaki and the Host club going to this school and making it more chaotic. The two girls will look at them and pretend no one knows them
Hahaha
But in short, I love the story and their romance and we got a kissing scene! It’s so cute! -
This series so far is cute and a little bit ridiculous (in a good way) I love Ichimonji and his pink hair, and how he's giving off Tamaki Suoh vibes. Can't wait to see where the rest of this story goes.

3.5 different, cute, but feels like something is missing

So cute
This series is so cute and ridiculous at the same time. I love the exaggerated shoujo hero while Koume is so normal. I'm really happy that progress has been made as well. -
Simple, funny, and cute. It's easy to read and has pretty art too. I like it so far.

Good and cute enough to kill time

I‘ve caught a case of second male lead syndrome which I thought I was immune to. Not sure if I’m gonna finish this series

This book has a ton of potential but it's still too goofy right now for me. I do like the love triangle though.
3 times I was just in love with boys named Tsubaki out of 5 times I wasn't a fan of the main love interest -
There’s just something about taking the princely tropes like flying rose petalsAnd add it as a comic moment. The prince literally has to cover up with a cloth or the flying rose petals will explode from him. It’s so silly but that’s what makes this fun.
