It's just not fair! Okay, granted, I'm married. But, I think the hubs would be down for being my man- mistress (manstress?). I'd set him up in a penthouse and wrap him up in jewels and furs. He'd like that. And, the kids would still visit him once we were done doing rich person stuff with Good-Daddy.

Meanwhile, in Reality World, I read this book and it reminded me a lot of the In Death series with Eve and Roarke. Rich guy, badass girl, except this girl is a cat burglar. I always wonder what the cat part of cat burglar means. I mean, they just steal stuff, right? So, isn't "thief" the right title? But, apparently a cat burglar is more glamorous.

So glamorous...
You dress your cat like that and you are just asking for him to act out.

The guy's name is Rick and her name is Samantha. The story begins with her robbing his mansion and finding a bomb while doing so. She saves his life and suddenly he's in love with her. Even though she was robbing his house. This is the perfect foundation for a solid relationship.

These two work together to try and figure out who the bomber was and things get messier as it goes on. It is part mystery and part romance, and I admit that I didn't know who the bad guy was until it was revealed.

The romance was cute enough, even though they developed feelings awfully quickly. I found him to be charming, and even though she was a runner, she acted pretty maturely and didn't do a bunch of stupid things that always seem to happen in books like this. She thought things through and usually made decent decisions. As a couple, I like them, but I can't imagine them not having at least one break-up in the future.

In the spoiler tag, I'm putting a really dirty line from the book because it cracked me up. Don't look at it unless you are over 18. This is the honor system people.
(Although, really, if you are under 18, you need to stay away from me and my potty-mouth. Your mom wouldn't approve.)

So usually as a rule,I try not to read the second part of a series before I finish reviewing the first one.But,with these awesome characters,I couldn't resist!
In fact,I'm almost done with Book 2 with just the climax left to read which I've purposely kept aside to finish reviewing this one,first...So I guess what I'm trying to say is that this review might be kind of biased because Book 2 is kind of working it's magic on me right now.

So,Flirting with Danger.To be honest,I choose this read with zero expectations and almost blindly. I've read Ms.Enoch's HRs and kind of added this one out of pure curiosity a while ago and just decided to pick this one out of the blue yesterday since nothing else on my TBR sounded interesting at that particular moment.
Got a bit worried at first as I started down at the cheesy purple cover but after see that 2 of my GR friends had given this a 5 and a recommendation,I buckled up and just decided to get through with it.
So you can see why I didn't expect to strike Gold with this series...But unexpectedly I did and I'm loving it *grins*

To be honest,If I compared the suspense aspect of this book to others I've read before then I have to admit that I've read better.In fact overall,I would probably rate this a 4 Stars I hadn't been so surprised by the characters.

The thief,the police detective,the lawyer & the English nobleman...

I've read a couple of books in the past that had 1-Dimensional characters just for the sake of filling up pages..But I'm glad to say that this NOT the case here,which I love.
Each and every character in this book played an important role in the plot and I' pretty sure I'm going to be seeing all of them again throughout the series.

But my two favorites ended up being the leads,Samantha & Rick, the art thief and her billionaire. But then again if I had to pick a favorite between the two I would pick Sam because, obviously..1)It's kickass to see a girl play a thrilling antagonist role as a thief who steals for no other reason than the fact that she like the trill she gets from it to the sweet,resourceful billionaire who walks on the legal side of things comparatively (with a lawyer being his best friend and all.)

Don't you think it's time we got a Female version of James Bond already ?

The second reason I enjoyed these characters so much was because of how consistent they stay throughout Book 1 & 2.I love the fact,that even though she met Rick and starts to kind of ...I liked that she didn't turn into a damsel in distress and waited for Rick to save the day when she could instead be climbing walls and what not by herself instead.

Now about the genre,I just wanted mention that this book is NOT a pure chic-lite book but more of a contemporary read with quick fun banter and a solid mystery plot (Note: I said 'Plot' not 'Sub-Plot') But then again it's Not a Dark or a heavy angst read.
So,I guess what I'm trying to say is that it kind of falls somewhere between both the spectrums.

Would I recommend this read ?
Definitely ! In fact I'm gonna mark this as one of 2017-favorites just because I loved Sam and totally want to be Watson to her Sherlock..Though I'm pretty Rick wouldn't get a kick outta that. Haha !

Will I be reading the sequel?
I guess,that's kind of a moot point since I'm already 80 % through Book 2. And Lovin it ! If your wondering...

If I could change one thing about this book, It would be...?
The cover. I mean come on ! Sam and Rick deserve better ! And also because the real reason I took so long to pick this read up was because of the cover..I didn't really like it before..(But honestly this one's starting to grown on me..NOT the rest of this series cover though. Ugh. Why ? )

As good as I remembered...

I loved Flirting With Danger so much that I've bought the second book in the series...even with a dodgy dollar. Unfortunately, the Australian dollar is not doing so well at the moment and for the first time in ages, I'm actually having to seriously consider my book purchases. THE SHOCK!! THE HORROR!!

Within minutes of starting this audio, I was wearing a big goofy grin on my face. Samantha is a cracker of a heroine and one of the only criminals that I love despite her career. Richard is one of my very favourite heroes. I love that Suzanne Enoch shared at the end of the story that she was picturing a mix of Hugh Jackman and a few others (can't remember who) when she created Richard. It was NOT a burden picturing Mr Jackman as Richard. ;-)

I read Flirting With Danger yonky donks ago and loved it back then. It's not too often that I re-read a book from my past and love it to the same extent. In this case, the narration did it justice and the story was still engaging. Yes, some things had dated but not to the extent where I was distracted by it.

The storyline was interesting, the characters came to life for me and the sexy times showed the connection that Sam and Richard shared. Richard has been married previously and Samantha has never found a man to take a risk on. Richard's ex was a cheating cow and it takes him a while to trust Sam. I loved Richard's dedication to protecting Samantha and trying to lure her away from the dark side. Samantha pushes Richard's boundaries and tests his overbearing and controlling nature. She is not one to be told what to do and each time she is, her first instinct is to cut and run. With time, the two realise that what they have together is special. Both must adjust and make sacrifices for their relationship to work.

Flirting With Danger was a great audio to listen to. I'm so excited that I've found this series and I'm going to be saving my dollars to buy more of the Samantha Jellicoe series. I can't wait for the next instalment to "see" Samantha act like the good girl and Lord Richard Addison act all lordy.

I need to start out by saying that I read ALL of Suzanne Enoch's books during my historical romance years, approximately 10 years ago. And while reading her historicals I fell in love with her contemporary series featuring Samantha Jellicoe and Richard Addison.

Last week I found out that she is writing more books about Sam and Rick. And I think I must have squealed a little, when I saw the new release on NetGalley. I still remember when I wrote her an email - maybe 7 years ago, asking the author if she intended to write more Samantha Jellicoe. At that time she had no immediate plans to do so, which of course was a bummer. But now knowing she has a new novel coming out mid August, I had to reread the series, there was just no getting around it. It's been too long and I wanted to know if I still loved them as much as I did the first time around.

And the answer is YES!!!!!

I love them!!!

I love how the couple met, and I love the way they are together.

This series has everything I love about a great contemporary series. A strong and sassy heroine. A rich alpha male who has trouble keeping his fingers and thoughts to himself. And even though they both struggle with their attraction, not only because they come from such different backgrounds but also because the timing couldn't be more inconvenient, they make it work. I applaud the author for not making it easy on Sam and Richard. Their struggle felt genuine and necessary. It's not easy to go legit, and the past is the past, it can't just be swept under the rug willy-nilly.

Besides the wonderful plot, I'm laughing as much as I did the first time. The dialogues are as snappy as I remember, and the sexual attraction is just right. Wit and charm are plentiful and make this novel an easy and enjoyable read.

Throughout the entire book the tension was high, and there were enough twists and turns that kept me guessing and flipping pages, again after so many years. The author is seasoned, and knows how to write an excellent romantic suspense novel. Her characters were wonderfully fleshed out, with backstories that engaged and supporting characters that enriched the storyline.

I'm incredibly excited to read this series again, it features a couple that is easily one of the author's best.

Whatever this partnership was going to be, it wasn't simple.

Samantha Jellicoe was raised from childhood to be a thief and she’s brilliant at it. She loves her job and the risk that comes with it, divesting the wealthy of their treasures without anyone getting a glimpse of her. Until the night she tries to steal a valuable item from millionaire Richard Addison, who’s supposed to be away on business. Instead of completing the job, a bomb goes off, a guard is killed and she saves the sexy and very present owner. Samantha has no problem owning up to being a thief, but a murderer she is not and it looks like someone just tried to pin everything on her. And it looks like the only way to prove her innocence is to trust the very man she tried to rob.

Richard Addison doesn’t know what to think when a bomb goes off in his house and he’s saved by the very woman who tried to rob him who then disappears. But he knows the only one who can give him answers will be his thief and whatever Richard wants he gets, and he’s not letting her get away. Together the two of them agrees to help each other and finding the real culprit. But they end up finding a lot more than they bargained for when the attraction between the millionaire and the thief gets too much to ignore.

She was too damned sexy for his peace of mind, but at least he seemed to get under her skin a little, as well. Where he wanted was under her clothes.

I struggled with Rick’s character. I loved how strong his attraction to Sam was, how fascinated he found her and how he wanted to keep her in his life but it bothered me how much emphases he placed on her being a thief, as if it defined her. He couldn’t see past it and that really bothered me. He even told her he couldn’t take her to his friend’s house without worrying she would steal something which really pissed me off seeing as that was not who she was. Yes, she might be a thief, but she still had some honor and morals. Dickhead.

She shivered. "Grenades are safer than you."
Rick chuckled. "I'll take that as a compliment."

Now Sam I loved. From five years old her dad started teaching her his trade of thieving. It’s all she knows and she’s damned good at it. She’s a survivor and has learned to adapt to her circumstances which was just wonderful. She’s also very independent and used to doing things her way and I loved how she stood up to Rick.

Perhaps it was sappy, but he felt the need to touch her every few minutes, to make certain she was still there, and to show whoever might be watching, himself included, that she belonged to him—whether she realized it yet or not.

I did enjoy their romance despite my issues with Rick and I liked the instant attraction both felt and the fact that their relationships still has a lot of growing to do which I’m looking forward to.

I really enjoyed the plot trying to figure out who set up Sam and why and seeing Sam and Rick learning to work together and not knowing whether they can trust each other.

Although there were parts that annoyed me, Rick’s attitude about Sam’s job, I still enjoyed this book and I’m looking forward to reading the next one.

Adorable jewel thief meets stuffy but caring billionaire -- what's not to like?

Nine times out of ten when I read romance I read historicals only, unless it's a quick Harlequin presents or something like that. So it really surprised me how much I enjoyed the Rick and Samantha series.

I think what I liked best was the luxury of the settings, the splendor and the wealth, plus the clash of wary, suspicious Sam's alert street-person instincts (trust no one, keep backpack ready to climb out window) and the soothing, almost hypnotic spell cast by Rick's warm and tender devotion. (Let me fix you another steak, Miss Jellicoe, and I'll instruct my people to draw you a bath and make up the bedroom suite in the guest wing.)

The only reason I give this book a four instead of a five is that there's not QUITE enough sex, and also Rick's ex-wife is too much of an annoying cartoon character. And I would have liked more scenes of Sam wallowing in luxury -- always a big plus for me.

But those are just pet peeves -- this book is an amazing classic, and a real rarity to find an author who's actually sexier in contemporaries than she is in her usual Regency setting! I think the key is that Suzanne Enoch isn't trying too hard to be "heavy" just because she's in the present. She's still having fun with the basic concept of romance. (Lisa Kleypas, are you taking notes?)

I feel like the author is a good writer and I was compelled to buy the second book in the series to check it out, but it was a little light for my tastes, more chick-lit than I usually read, but still enjoyable.

It's definitely total mind candy of the UBER kind, just like shamelessly reading the Bachelorette, which is not TERRIBLE, right? :D The problem is that this series suffers from comparison to Nora Roberts' In Death series (which, especially the first 3, are some of my ABSOLUTELY faves). We have a sexy billionaire with washboard abs and a cat burglar here, compared to a sexy billionaire and a cop in In Death. I mean, let's be honest, most billionaires are too busy doing their own thing to work out and look like a soccer player, for realz GUYS!
I did enjoy the detail of the break-in cat burglar stuff, the main character was a bit too much of being perfect and having every thing in the world drop in her lap perfectly. It just...well, it's a light version of In Death. Basically I believe that Eve and Roarke exist in my head because for some reason the author makes it plausible, however ridiculous it is on paper, and I just had a hard time believing this one.

THAT SAID I think the author did the romance really well, and her writing is strong, and I read the second one just because I was interested in where it was going. I see she does a LOT of historical romance, which I LOVE, so I think I'm gonna try her out on that end, I anticipate great victory!

I found this one after I read Eve and Roarke's books reviews.

Yes, there is few similarities between these pairs, only a bit opposite.
The romance rather heavy in this one while the crime side rather light, oh still few dead bodies in this too but not too grim like in Eve's cases. The mystery quite good and well kept.

I loves it and Richard almost as good as Roarke, almost I said because he is not geek and because of her thief minds somehow Samantha sound the clever one but of course with his money is easy for Richard to become a supportive hero:)

On to the next one!

A caper book!!! A caper book!!! I LOVED this!!! I gobbled it up like candy, and as soon as I finish this review I'm off to read book #2.

I liked Sam -- mouthy, sassy, charming, independent . She's what I would be like if I could pick my personality traits.

I loved Rick Addison -- I've always been a sucker for the contemporary romance gorgeous billionaire, and since I quit reading Nora Roberts I haven't had the pleasure of meeting any new ones. Rick (sigh, had a boyfriend named Rick once, still love the name) Addison is smoking hot, forceful (but not too), perceptive, charming, British and did I say hot? And, just to give a historical romance fan like me a shout out, . That made me laugh out loud.

4 solid stars for this one -- anyone who enjoys caper stories will love it. A light, fun, entertaining read.

This gave me a bit of "In Death" feels. Rick, the sexy British billionaire is saved by Samantha when a bomb explodes in his house. Unfortunately she wasn't there as a guest but as a thief. With Rick's description of her to the police,things get a little too tricky for Sam so she proposes a deal between them to help find whoever set the bomb. Sparks fly between the two but pretty soon what once seemed like just a robbery gets very complicated as bodies start piling up,another bomb is set at the house and someone seems to be out for Sam.

I enjoyed this one, Rick was fascinated by Sam from the beginning and though he's been known to date actresses and such we dont get much details of his past. He'd been married before and his wife cheated on him with his friend.

Sam, we get the impression that she'd not been in a serious relationship due mostly to.her night time activities. Though she's not one for staying in one place long she didn't, thankfully ,make dumb decisions in her attempt to get away from Rick and the feelings she was developing. She was smart, funny, and knew her own mind.

The suspense/mystery was well done, I honestly had no clue as to.the bad guys identity though at the end I did think I should've seen it coming.

The series continues though at the end of this knr the couple exchanged their ily and Sam is leaving the burglary business and moving in with Rick. I'm interested enough to move on to the next book.

Okay, these Samantha Jellicoe books are my new cozy fun yummy reads that I RAVISH. I've read the first two, and I'm saving the rest for when I really really need something wonderful and reliable. I think there are only FOUR! SOB. Samatha is a cat burgler, she meets her hero robbing his art collection, and just, wow, this series is insanely delightful.

This has the same wonderfulness factor of those early Evanovich/Stephanie Plum books for me, but a step up in maturity and relationship.

This might sound morbid, but I have half a mind to save the last two for my deathbed. It would be something to look forward to. But then, what if I die in a car accident?

I found this book impossible to put down. It started with a literal bang, and kept up with the twists and turns, leaving me guessing at every turn, finally building up to a rather delicious climax. The resolution was over a little quickly for me, and I did love the characters -- in some ways they remind me a little bit of Eve and Roarke, but are very different people. I am looking forward to reading more in this series.

Everything was just so freakin obvious. Not saying that's bad but not what you want from a romantic suspense novel either.

Think I'll just stick to Eve and Roarke.

If I had to pick what I liked more in "Flirting with Danger", I'd say without a doubt Sam Jellicoe, its fascinating, badass heroine.

I'm not a fan of chick-lit. To be fair, I haven't read many books belonging to the genre, but that's because the few attempts I've made have been a total disaster.
I despise the semplicity of the writing and of the characters' psychology. I hate the forced, cheesy notion of love usually depicted in those books. And I usually find the heroes disturbing.
They're either too handsome to do anything else than just being good-looking, or total idiots, fully depending on the heroine's nonsense.

If you think the same, go into this series without any reservation.
It was chick-lit enough to not be too focused on the "depth" of its characters' feelings, but far from making them look superficial or stereotypical.

Sam Jellicoe was the real revelation, though. I didn't expect her to be such a foul-mouthed, proud, beautiful heroine. She seduced, kicked ass, impressed and solved the book's mystery, assisted by the story's hero, Richard, always being - if not a step above him - at his same level.
Equal, smart, interesting. She had her own voice and made everyone else listen to it. I absolutely adored her.

Richard was a nice character, too. Wealthy, self-assured and with the right touch of troubled. I loved him mostly because of his amazing banter with Sam. (And the equally amazing sex they had)

The plot, too, reserved some pleasant surprises and felt overall entertaining and engaging.
For somebody who likes her books to have an abundance of sex, this book proved the perfect compromise. Compared to an "average" chick-lit story, the sexual element was explicit and generous in every aspect.

I'm looking forward to reading more books of this series.

Two and a half rounded up.

The main characters have potential, unfortunately it took almost to the end of the book to see that. The first three quarters were sluggish and you saw the potential witty banter but little chemistry. As her first contemporary romance I am willing to round up to three instead of down to two stars. I might try book two....

This is the usual girl robs boy. Boy falls for girl. Instead of going to prison girl ends up with boy. The boy being a hot billionaire is just a bonus. It was cute and pretty predictable. More romance than mystery.

Yet another confirmation of the reliability of Publishers Weekly starred reviews. I've been let down so many times by Five Kisses or Five Roses (or Five Whatever) reviews on independent sites, but Old Faithful never fails.

I picked Flirting with Danger out of a short list of PW starred reviews and enjoyed every single page. The author's notes at the end, describing the genesis of the book, are some of the most intriguing and enlightening I've read. Ah, were all authors so honest and informative about the source of their ideas.

I picked up on the references to "To Catch a Thief" but missed the "Remington Steele" connection -- probably because I didn't watch much TV in the 80s.

I'm delighted to see this is the first of a series. Can't wait to read some of the others.

Sam, a highly skilled thief, breaks into billionaire Richard Addison's mansion to steal a piece from his art collection, but she ends up saving his life when she finds a bomb has been set up in his hallway. When she is implicated for attempted murder, she goes to Addison for help, offering to help him find out who was trying to kill him in exchange. The plot was pretty intricate, with multiple thieves, murders and suspects. All in all, I liked the chemistry between Sam and Addison, even though I prefer heroines who are a little more vulnerable. There are another two books it the series I think that I want to read.

Carino e scorrevole, anche se il giallo è molto scontato perfino per me che non ne leggo quasi mai, ho apprezzato il fatto che Samantha e Richard non passino tutto il tempo della storia a rotolarsi in ogni dove e in ogni quando, ma ci sarebbero voluti un pochino più di punnzecchiamenti ironici tra i due.
Mi è anche molto piaciuta l'ambientazione a Palm Beach, anche se Ora sono curiosa di sapere come andranno d'amore e d'accordo i due che sono testoni come arieti, ma si sa, in amore spesso si raggiungono compromessi e si cambia.

3 ½ stars. Enjoyable light romantic mystery caper. Fun dialogue, but weak on the emotional pull.

STORY BRIEF:
Samantha (Sam) is a cat burglar thief for hire, one of the best. She is hired to steal an antique tablet from the Florida home of British millionaire Richard. While there she discovers a trip wire set by someone else. A guard trips over it setting off an explosion which kills him. Sam knocks Richard out of the way saving his life. Sam and Richard then form an uneasy alliance to help each other. Sam wants Richard to tell the cops that “the female burglar he saw” was not responsible for the bomb/murder. She doesn’t mind the cops being after her as a thief, but she doesn’t want them after her for murder. Sam tells Richard she knows people “in the business” who can help solve the mystery more easily than the cops.

REVIEWER’S OPINION:
This is entertaining. Good dialogue. Good lines. Some chuckling. Interesting characters with interesting interaction. He’s used to the press following and taking his picture. Her goals are never be photographed and never be seen. Yet to her horror, she is photographed when with him. She is suspicious of people he’s not suspicious of. They think differently. It’s fun seeing their interaction. I prefer romance stories where the couple is together at the end forever. This does not do that, but the couple is together in good ways. There is romance and sex. They just don’t make it legal. It’s still rewarding and fulfilling. There are sequels which continue their relationship.

This was labeled romantic suspense, but I didn’t feel much suspense. It was more mystery than suspense. Sure, some bad things happen, but it didn’t feel suspenseful. The sex scenes are not emotionally charged or super hot, but they are ok and fit the style of writing. The author has a good writing style. The focus of the book is the mystery/plot. But the plot felt formulaic – not really creatively different. I want romance novels to pull me emotionally out of my life or entertain me with humor, and that was not the effect here. Therefore I’m not hot to trot out and buy the sequels.

The ending was vague and incomplete as to the plot. I didn’t understand how three different bad guys fit together. I wanted to know more about their motives and how and what they did. I wanted more details and motives about the multiple murders. I also wanted more details about what happened to the bad guys at the end.

Rick rimane logicamente subito affascinato da Sam, non ha mai incontrato una donna come lei e considerata la sua ricchezza che lo ha reso preda ambita di giornalisti, imbroglioni e traditori è abituato ad andarci con i piedi di piombo (sopratutto dopo il disastroso divorzio) ma quella ladra dotata di un senso dell'onore e dell'integrità insospettabili fa subito breccia dentro di lui ed è disposto a qualunque cosa pur di non farsela scappare. Sam dopo la morte del padre (ladro anche lui) è rimasta praticamente sola al mondo (ad eccezione del suo socio Stoney) e non ha mai avuto una casa, non ha mai desiderato fare altro che la ladra, nonostante svolga anche qualche lavoro "alla luce del sole". L'amore che prova per Rick è inaspettato e sconvolgente e per restargli accanto dovrebbe rivoluzionare la sua intera esistenza a cominciare proprio dal suo amato lavoro. La parte gialla del romanzo (il mio punto debole visto che è un genere che amo poco, quindi deve essere o molto leggera o molto ben fatta) mi ha a volte annoiato e seguendo le indagini per inerzia facevo fatica a seguire i vari ragionamenti; il colpevole non l'avevo nemmeno intuito ma ammetto che la curiosità era poca e non mi ci sono impegnata più di tanto XD La parte rosa invece è sviluppata meglio, l'autrice è riuscita a costruire un rapporto credibile tra due persone decisamente, almeno all'apparenza, incompatibili ed entrambi con un carattere molto forte. Carino ma poco trascinante insomma,leggerò altre avventure di Sam e Rick per vedere come se la caverà con la sua "nuova vita onesta" XD

Flirting With Danger is actually a re-read for me. I originally read this as a borrowed paperback, and once I found out there was a whole series involving these characters, I wanted to come back and start reading them in ebook form. I was very pleased to find that Book 1 held up nicely to a second pass through.

If you're old enough to remember the TV show Remington Steele, this book is pretty close to what you'd get if you take Steele and Laura from that show and reverse their roles. Samantha Jellicoe is an expert jewel thief; Rick Addison is a dashing British billionaire, and Sam's latest target. When she breaks into his house one night only to discover someone else has planted a bomb in his house--and she not only has to save Rick's life, she also has to throw in her lot with him to find the actual would-be killer.

There's a great deal of fun to be had here. Samantha's nicely earthy in contrast to the suave Rick, and while the chemistry between them is often blunt, it's never over the top for my tastes. The mystery of who's gunning for Rick is engaging, too. Quick, light read overall. Four stars.

It's a fast paced, light-hearted, yet surprisingly rich, mystery/romance!!

Samantha Jellicoe is one of the best, and most expensive, cat burglars in the world. That is why, when a bomb explodes in the very house she is stealing from, at the very moment she is doing her "work", the red flags fly. Keeping the handsome, billionaire owner alive and getting out without getting caught is her first priority, however, it isn't until she discovers her life is in serious trouble later that she is forced to take action.

This book is so much fun, one hates to put it down - even for a moment - to get anything else done! If I didn't think the sex aspect was too soon and too much (totally personal, I admit) this would have been a definite 5 star just for sheer entertainment and excitement!

La storia d'amore mi è piaciuta, così come i personaggi di Richard e Samantha. Lo stile della Enoch è fresco, abbastanza scorrevole, la storia, in generale, è carina e si lascia leggere, ma non mi ha convinta del tutto.
La narrazione, in alcuni punti, perde il ritmo, non solo per qualche errore di stampa sparso qua e là, ma soprattutto perchè la parentesi gialla è stata affrontata con un po' di superficialità, e a tratti è confusa; inoltre il ritmo non è stato sempre uniforme, perchè a una parte romantica ben sviluppata, si contrappone una parte avventurosa meno riuscita.
Il romanzo si legge con piacere, ma manca un po' di mordente.

LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT!!!!!!

There was absolutely nothing I would change in this book. It was a wee bit long and it did drag a bit but it took away nothing from the story and the suspense. The main and secondary characters where very interesting and they blended well with each other and into the story.

It has been awhile that I found a book that held my attention like this one did.

This book I will highly recommend as it kept me glued to the pages.
