Een 'beestig' kinderboek over de geboorte van een prinsenkind. Alle dieren willen de adellijke uk verrassen met een cadeau, een lied of een gedicht. Mooie, schilderachtige illustraties, al had het nog beter geweest als de tekst meer overvloeide in de beelden. Nu staan beide media nogal los van elkaar.
