Rescuing Amy (Special Forces: Operation Alpha) Reviews

Billy, a member of Ghost's team (Rescuing Rayne by Susan Stoker), rescues Amy, a veterinarian, from a blind date gone bad. They start seeing each other and try to make a relationship work even when he gets deployed on missions.

Everything goes to hell when Amy's blind date kidnaps her and tortures her, with the intention of selling her into slavery. Billy steps up, doing his best to help her through her trauma, and the rest, of course, is a worthy HEA.

Julia Bright is a new author to me. I loved that she portrayed Billy as more of a regular guy even though he was part of an elite military force. I loved that he was a bit more reserved than the rest of the Ghost's team--it made for a different perspective on the Special Forces world.

Billy's character, in fact, was the perfect partner to Amy, who had to fight through her traumatic experience.

I loved that Julia Bright stayed true to her plot, and I am looking forward to reading the other books in her series.

veterinary doc & hot alpha military man

So good. Loved the action, shy alpha male who visits the shelter to walk “Candy” a special needs senior dog that he loves, but doesn’t believe his crazy military lifestyle would support his adoption of her. Then there’s the hot doctor that he wants to ask out too. Then he rescues her from a horrible blind date gone wrong. Exciting

    Tough topic, well done

The love story was great, but how the author addresses PTSD was probably the best part. I liked how Amy wasn’t fine after a couple of days, PTSD messes with the mind and isn’t easy to fix and the author portrayed that well. Some challenging scenes, but a book well done.

Amy is a veternarian and made the mistake of going a blind date that didn't end well. Billy is on the shy side and walks dogs from the clinic and trys to get up the nerve to ask her out. But when she's abducted he'll do all he can to find her. HEA

    Beautifully Written

This was beautifully written with love abounding. The characters are amazingly real, though I have to say, Candy is my favorite from this one. There is some sexual content.

    Alpha Romance

Another fantastic book in the Special Forces series. Amy is one truly amazingly strong woman. I just love these guys.

    Rescuing Amy

I swear they should have brought charges against the friend that set Amy up with that perv too. She was too nonchalant about what Amy said about the guy, some friend. I'm glad Billy was there to save her time and time again. I lived how the author makes each rescue something to look forward to.
