Destruction (Band of Believers, #3) Reviews

This series is very easy to read. The characters are relatable. This book was very intense. I felt that I did not enjoy it as much as the other ones (The story-line didn't seem as strong, lots of POV and there was a lot going on). However, I'm really excited to continue the series! It had some great applications and lessons to present-day believers. I did highlight a lot in this one.

It’s all we need to know for now. God guides us day by day, hour by hour. We’re not supposed to worry about tomorrow. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof, right?

    Who Will Take The Mark?

We are getting closer to the time of “The End” and the “chip” will soon be ready for all of those who do not know Jesus and also, for some who don’t know Him well enough to trust His Word and avoid it. I’m not in Montana. I don’t have creeks and forests where I live so I’ve got to get a plan ready because the day is coming when we all will have to “bug out”... Jer 29:11 God has a plan!

This book really stirs my soul.

I love how they pray for everything and how God takes care of their every need. I love the Praise and worship and the worship songs they sing, giving praise to God even in dire circumstances.
I wonder if the author has direct experiences with angles like Willow does.

    Bitter Sweet

Truly enjoyable read. I was sadden by the lost of Candy and then Danny's mom. Jacob I felt should have given the child over, but for the love of a child, he didn't. The joy was to see the mother of Willow and Josh make it back to them. Our father in heaven is truly Love, Amen

    Band of Believers

This KU library selection is the continuation of the Band of Believers series, which is set in a Montana forest near the small town of Ponderosa. Willow continues to lead the group with a guidance from an angel and dreams, but they are being continually challenged and tested. The End is near and book four is up next.

Overall: Good read with a fast-paced storyline. It was hard to put down!
Likes: Thought-provoking, End Times fiction, got me out of a reading slump
Dislikes: Not a ton of character depth since there are so many characters, and some of the conversations can feel a little cheesy.
Recommend? I would. Warning that it may cause distress for those who find End Times to be an anxiety-inducing topic.

    3rd in series, all good!

Earthquakes, wildfires. Who and what will survive? Who’s with this band of believers and who isn’t? This one has some poignant scenes too! On to the next! I’m really enjoying everything by this author!

    Couldn't put it down

Easy to follow storyline. Realistic, no science fiction here. Learned a few new strategies in worse case scenarios. Didn't want stop reading.

    Continuing to be excellent read

The story is good. Parts of this book did lag a bit. Dragging out the drama loner than necessary. But still a very exciting read
