1300 years ago, when the great migration began, no one knew that many of those who couldn't board the ever migrating walking cities had found another solution, to create new homes in the network of caves and tunnels below the earth.
In this fifth entry of the Chronicles of the Great Migration, Alexa Turon, Runner 17, Major Daniels, and their allies must learn the secrets of the mysterious AEIS and the underground city of Lastion if they hope to discover the key to defeat Miranda once and for all.
But from the ashes of the Battle for Langeles and the conflict with the Children of Gaia, a new power rises, one unlike any the world has ever known.
It has only one goal... to eat.
**Updates on publication dates***

I've had to rework a large chunk of the book after I made some important (and exciting changes) Because of that the book is about 70% complete for the first draft.
This is a massive book and the complexity of the worldbuilding is far beyond anything I've ever done. I promise I've not given up but right now, I am doing some additional research to try and solve a major technology and culture issue in a way that will also create some dynamic experiences for the characters.
Unsure of the release date but hoping to have the rough draft finished sometime in the fall.
