The battle for Langeles is over, and it’s clear nothing will ever be the same. Security forces are scattered, the Runnercore is gone, and many are missing in the aftermath of the battle. In the streets, the Lowers are organizing, and rebellion is spreading. The city is on the verge of tearing itself apart.
It’s up to Serah, to find the few that remain of the Order of the Eye and discover a way to unite the city before Miranda and the Recycled return to finish what they started.
But from afar someone is watching Manhatsten, a force older than the city itself.

*SPOILER CONTENT WARNING*
A great 4th installment to this amazing series! This section of the series is just as compelling, character-driven, and fun as the last 3. We get to learn a lot more about the heinous Miranda, her background, and how she controls her grand powers. Her story is very interesting, and could have lasting implications for how the whole world views and uses telepathic powers. We also get to learn about the fate of one of my favorite characters, Mimi. The places she must go in order to discover her salvation, both in her mind and otherwise, are a thoughtful journey on how far we would all go to save the ones we love.
I cannot wait to see what happens back on Earth! -
I loved this continuation of the series! So many great characters and plenty of intrigue! I can honestly say I'm hooked now and I can't wait until the next one!
