Brimming with thoughtful advice from the authors Jeanette DePatie, Ragen Chastain and Pia Sciavo-Campo as well as dozens of other notable names from the body love movement, the book is lovingly illustrated with diverse drawings from size-positive artist Toni Tails.

Love It!: 234 Inspirations and Activities to Help You Love Your Body Reviews

  • M.M. Strawberry Library & Reviews

You do NOT want to take advice on loving/caring for yourself from three authors who clearly do NOT love or take care of their own bodies.

Ragen Chastain has been caught in so many lies it's a wonder she still thinks that she has any credibility outside of her deluded following. And Jeanette... I want to feel sorry for her because she is being abused and exploited by Ragen, but she chose to be with Ragen, and she chooses to get bigger and bigger, to the point where she needs a scooter to get around.

People who need scooters to get around because they've gotten so big are in absolutely no position to give any advice on caring for oneself. As for Pia, she's not as big as the other two but as with just about anyone else in the FA/HAES movement, she will get bigger and bigger.

The best way to take care of yourself? Watch what you eat and get a decent amount of exercise - CICO (Calories in, Calories Out) is the reality, NOT Health At Every Size. It's motherfucking physics, and no amount of delusion will ever overcome the reality of SCIENCE.

Honestly, if mental gymnastics burned as many calories as real gymnastics...

    Love the content!

Empowering and creative ways to engage your thinking about all the great things about your body. It felt like at times that the electronic format impeded the flow of the book making parts difficult to connect but the content and ideas provided were wonderful

Cool idea. Ultimately repetitive and a little dull.
