She has a secret. But little does she know, so does he.
With a past he’s not proud of and a secret only recently discovered, Dawg’s life is about to change when a kindergarten teacher walks into Heaven’s Angels Gentlemen’s Club, a DAMC business he’s run for the past fifteen years. With no experience, her dancing sucks but he can’t deny the woman’s determination to get the job and, against his better judgement, hires her anyway. While her girl-next-door looks may be good for business, he’s not ready for someone like Emma to walk into his life.
Emma’s desperate. She not only needs a lot of cash, but needs it quickly. Recently unemployed and with nowhere else to turn, she takes a drastic step by auditioning at Dawg’s club. When he finds out her secret, he’s willing to go above and beyond to help her. However, Emma has no idea how a bearded, tattooed biker and strip club manager can help when law enforcement can’t.
Coming from two different worlds, Dawg’s life needs to change drastically to make things work, but is he willing to give up almost everything he’s ever known for Emma?
Note: This book can be read as a standalone. It includes lots of steamy scenes, biker slang, cursing, some violence and, of course, an HEA. If you like alpha males who like to take charge, this book is for you.

Dawg, one more book boyfriend to add to my list. Dawg goes straight to the top of the list easily. One look at Emma (kindergarten teacher) and he knew she was not going to be up on stage as one of his strippers. She did immediately take over his heart. Of all the down & dirty brothers of the Dirty Angels MC, Dawg is probably the brother most open to change. Emma needs money, lots of it but she doesn't want to tell Dawg why. He knows everything about the girls who strip in the club known as Heaven's Angels Gentlemen's Club. He is determined to find out What is Emma's problem. Will he be able to help her? Or will she work herself into is heart and life forever? What is it in Dawg's past that Emma brings to light that will change his life forever? Y'all will have to read Dawg and Emma's story for the answers.
Jeanne St James has done it again, creating a story that will make you laugh out loud, cry with and for the characters with sexy bits that will keep you reading late into the night. Did I mention that Dawg and Emma set off sparks from the moment they meet? No? They do and are HOT, HOT, HOT. Next book in the series is Dex and is available for preorders now. Can't wait! Thanks for Jeanne St James sharing your Down and Dirty Angels MC series with us. -
So I couldn't totally get behind the insta whirlwind love that Dawg was rocking with Emma, though it had its very, very hot moments. Theirs was super quick. Much like Zak and Sophie in book 1, but without the month long break in between.. so that's why I gave it 4 stars...
With that said, I still love em together. And I love how this one gives a break with the rival MC beef. This one was strictly Dawg and his growth. And those who have his back. I love that. I never thought a man like Dawson "Dawg" could inspire or exude such Valor in these circumstances, but he surprised me. And I'm happy about that.
This book, though it started out with cold, impersonal relations, has tons of heart here. If anyone deserves this HEA it was definitely Dawg, and the 3 girls that now hold his heart ❤
Love this series. Definitely recommend it. It says these books can be read as stand-alones but I strongly urge you to read them in order. -
"You're you, baby girl. An' I want you for the rest of my fuc*in' life."
Dawg was something special, both the book and the man.
Unlike the rest of the series, this book focuses more on the main characters (with no rival MC drama, which was also a breath of fresh air). Different than the rest of the series. Softer and emotionally charged - which proved as a nice change of pace.
Dawg was such a sweetheart and I couldn't wait for him to get his happily ever after. He was Emma's knight in shining armor, willing to conquer anything and give up anything for her.
Emma was cute, but I couldn't help thinking that Dawg was the star of the show.
We also get to see Jewel, Diesel, Mercy, and other characters again. I cannot wait to read Mercy's book. :D
Overall, a great addition to an awesome series. -
I LOVE this one!!! They are COMPLETE Opposites... her the innocent kindergarten teacher and him the rough tattooed MC member that owns a strip club.
Instant chemistry/connection on his part. He's jealous and possessive in just the right amount 🤗🤗
**Missing child
**Possessive guy
**Jealous of other men

Much like Axel's book, this book took a bit of a different approach than the other series books, yet it was still SOOOO good! There was much less club drama, and instead the plot mainly focused on Dawg and Emma's issues.
We definitely saw a different, loveable and dare I say almost "cuddly" side to Dawg. He's not as tough, bad and insensitive as we were lead to believe in previous books. Sure he runs a strip club, but the man's got a heart and a conscience and he takes care of people.
Emma's one broken lady, and yet the strength inside her is so admirable, and it's that strength that draws these two people together. They couldn't be from more different walks of life and yet they're the perfect fit. Puzzle pieces that ended up in the wrong boxes only finally finding their way together against unbelievable odds and devastating pasts.
Dawg as a hero is definitely up there in my top three favourite DAMC men. His soft side may have just booted Diesel off the podium... and it might simply be because of the beard. Mmmm beards...
So many stars it's impossible to count. -
My Rating: 4 stars!

I liked this one. Okay...Admittedly, not the most fab of opening statements. But hear me out...
This is probably closer to a 3 *** star read, but I'm rounding up because....(drumroll)...
This is book 7 in a series. Did you hear that right? Yes, yes, you did. I'm writing a review on the 7th friggin book in a series. Unheard of for me, right? Yes, yes, it is.
Okay...Admittedly, I've not read all the prior books in this series. I read Zak (a quick and sexy read with an amusing start) and Axel (a bit of angsty good times), then skipped down to Slade (wasn't so much a fan of that one but it followed formula). Then I landed on the sneak peek of Dawg and was sucked in.
The dialogue between Dawg and Emma is pitch-perfect. As is the development of their relationship. I was smiling a lot while reading this. It's a fantasy, sure...but a pleasant one. What's more, despite being fantastical...nothing felt forced. Both characters had enough believability that I found myself rooting for this unlikely couple (a theme throughout the series that was hit/miss in the other books I've read so far).
About the series: all books are said to be standalone yet intertwined. I can vouch for this to be the case. I had no trouble with bouncing and skipping, except that there are inherent spoilers with doing this, of course. For me, the plot isn't the main point, so I was fine with being 'told' some stuff in later books that happened in the earlier ones I'd skipped. I didn't feel like I was missing any key info as the author does a good job of weaving in pertinent points.
Cliffhangers: There aren't any major cliffies, but then there aren't any real "endings" either. Each book has a HFN with the next book picking right up with a new couple's story and the continuation of the overarching plot. The previous couple(s) are featured in the next books with some tidbits and interactions provided almost like extended epilogues. It's satisfying to me, but I can see where some readers might be miffed if they liked one couple over another and wanted more of that couple's story. It worked for me *shrug.
I will say that I was surprised by the next book - Dex - and the turn it took. Not sure I really lurved it, but it was a refreshing sojourn from the usual road the books traversed *shrug.
Not sure I'll check out more books in this series - maybe Crow's as I'm curious about who he ends up with - or the side series to these books. Maybe if I'm in the mood again for a soft-plot, heavy-sex, formula-based series with a hidden gem or two? Probably. -
Down and Dirty Dawg is the 7th book in the Dirty Angels MC series and another fantastic addition to the series. This series has me hooked and this novel like its predecessors held my attention from start to finish. I would have never guessed I would have loved Dawg this much but his and Emma's story was sexy, engrossing and a bit emotional. This book was slightly different from the others as there was no drama from the rival MC. We saw a different side to Dawg in this book and I loved him with Emma. I absolutely loved the ending and I cant wait for the next book in this series.
I listened to the audible version of this novel which was narrated by Aiden Snow and Ava Lucas. This was another exceptional narration from Ava and my first Aiden Snow narration. I loved his voice. Together these two brought the story to life and I really enjoyed listening to them.
Down and Dirty Dawg is a great continuation to the DAMC series and I would highly recommend it to all lovers of MC romances. -
This one is really good. . I still can't give a five star because of the way they talk. If you've read any of this series you know what I mean.
Dawg wasn't born into the MC but has been a part of it for a long time. He is single and plans to stay that way. Had his heart broken when he was young and has no want to go there again. He has operated the clubs strip club for years and it's one of their businesses that makes the most money. Plus he has it made. Has an apartment above the strip club and has random hook ups with customers. His main rule is he never sleeps with the strippers and he takes care of them.
Emma needs a lot of money and needs to make it fast. She is now an unemployed kindergarten teacher and her husband and his girlfriend... Yes you read that right... have kidnapped her daughter... well his daughter too but he took her out of the country and left her. Police can't help and the FBI has their hands tied. She needs more money to pay for the PI. She begs Dawg to hire her but she can't dance or strip sexy even if Dawg thinks she is super sexy. Remember when I said he takes care of his girls? Well she might not be a stripper but he does hire her for another job and he does have connections. Now read along and see what a sweet kindergarten teacher and a big bad biker have in common. -
So far in this series we haven't really gotten to know much about Dawg, other than he runs the strip club and brings girls to the parties. I have to say that I didn't think that much about him, but he came off way better than I could have imagined. I really liked that Dawg kept his hands of the girls at the club, that he did what he could to protect them and help them, instead of exploiting them left and right.
Emma was interesting, a real fireball from the start. I loved all of her questions and her determination that she was going to be a stripper despite not wanting to be one and being a really bad one at that. I liked that Dawg took the time to find out why she was so determined. Of course it helped that he was instantly smitten with her. Once Dawg was in, he was all in and wasted no time helping Emma with her problem and introducing her to the club. I loved how Emma pretty much went with the flow and tried to get all her questions in to Dawg so she had a clue on what was going on.
I really liked that by helping Emma with her problem, Dawg realized he needed to do something about what he learned. I loved how the whole club backed them both and helped when they could. I loved the ending, nice to see Emma and Dawg spending family time together and getting to know new family members. -
4.5 Stars. I really enjoyed reading Dawg and Emma's story. Dawg has been an interesting character since the first book. Emma is a good girl put in a bad situation and willing to do anything to get her child back. There were humorous moments in the book, especially when Dawg is trying to let Emma be a stripper in the club but she's so awful at it she has to stop. The overriding theme is this book is the love of children and the responsibilities their parents face. Of course there's a touching love story and some really hot sex. No cheating and a HEA. This is one I'll read again. Can be read as a standalone.

Dawg and Emma
Dawg manager of the MC's strip club. Hd meet Emma when she came looking for a job. She was horrible at dancing but she said she desperately needed work.
When Dawg finds out why she needs money he decided he is going to help her.
Good story, loved it. Really loving this series -
We all need a Dawg in our lives. This man is so much more than we thought. I loved Dawson and Emma together with their lady buy and Cait.
This is one of those series that shows brothers working together and the glue that holds them together. If you're looking for a great MC series, this is it! -
I can NOT get enough of this series.
With each book I think oh this is my favorite then a new book comes and I think oh no this is my new favorite. I think that is a true testament to the author for writing some pretty amazing books.
Emma is in crisis and at the end of her rope she doesn’t know where to go but she knows she needs money.
Enter Dawg and his club. I loved this meet; he literally got the shock of his life. Teehee I love when the big burly fella gets knocked off his game just a little bit.
Her desperation really got to me, I don’t know what I would have done but I think the way she handles her situation is really the best anyone can ask for really if you think about it.
Dawg’s situation surprised me and how he feels about it all well that just hit me in the feels.
Their story really is an emotional rollercoaster and the ending really will make it worth it all.
The narration… OH MY GOD…. I forgot how much I love Aiden Snow… Truly that deep voice it’s just …. Wonderful.
Ava… your male voice I swear to god… I don’t want to get creepy lol. -
I loved Dawg!!!! And Emma was perfect for him!
-
3.5 I love instalove stories but this all felt very rushed.
-
This series is just fabulous! I've enjoyed every book and feel like I am part of the ladies club. It was a joy to see Dawg find his lady. He deserved it.
-
Good Story
Dawg & Emma's story is endearing and wonderful. It shows how two people can come together from different places and make a life together -
5 Stars!
Hi BookLovers,
Baby Girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I knew The I moment Read Dawg and Emma's stories I will be doomed. He was so bossy and so sweet to her and she loves every minute of it. Although Dawg is managing his strip club he was something else on the inside. I love his character. I love how loving he is.
And Emma, she was different from all the DAMC Woman. She soft and she didn't curse not so hard-headed like the others. She's just sweet little thang.
She's Dawg BABY GIRL :)
Highly Recommended this! :) -
Dawg's story at last. I was looking forward to seeing what sort of woman ends up catching the strip club owner. Emma is a kindergarten teacher who has lost her job, her home, her savings, everything, in her quest to find her daughter Lily. Desperate she applies as a stripper, but she is terrible at it. She auditions twice for Dawg & sparks fly between them. He can see she is desperate & at first pushes her away but when she comes back he is pulled in. Once she explains her situation he is all in for helping her, hiring her as a hostess (which she excels at) and letting her stay with him above the club (and while he doesn't expect sex for help, his bedroom door is open if she wants to join him, and she does)
He involves Diesel's guys in the search for Lily, who has been stolen by her father & taken out of the country and gets Kiki to start the legal side for custody, a restraining order and a divorce.
Emma is attracted to Dawg and sleeps with him very quickly, switching from shy & hesitant teacher to wild sex kitten during the act. Emma is strong but rather passive in the face of everything Dawg is doing to for her, though she keeps saying she can't afford it. She goes along with what he tells her, even when she is totally out of her depth and doesn't understand what is going on (the party at church). But her daughter has been missing for a year & a half so she is willing to go along things if it will get her Lily.
Watching Dawg & Emma come together was great. The club women embraced her immediately. Dawg worried that Emma would walk away once she had Lily back but he wanted her too much not to get involved with her. Emma, facing what she knows will be a hostile custody battle, knows dating a MC member, who owns a strip club, while living above that club with him, will not help her case at all & her daughter has to come first. Seeing what Emma will do for her daughter makes Dawg to decide to pursue visitation rights with his own daughter, whom he just recently learned about. This means he has to change his life because the strip club thing will count against him too.
Dawg has such heart & such caring, which we never saw much of in the previous books and Emma was so perfect for him.
It was slightly too insta-love for me, which is why 4 stars. And Diesel was an ass as usual. -
Well I think I may have a new favorite fictional biker! It is definitely a battle between Hawk and Dawg. I mean damn... I don't normally get all hot and bothered over men in books... mostly because I can be overly critical of my fictional men, but just damn. Dawg exceeded all my expectations easily. He was so raw, and emotional that it nearly slayed me to read about this burley man. I love Jeanne St. James' writing, she brings these characters to life in a way that really grips the reader. I was never crazy about Diesel but I was happy to see a tiny part of his Shadows.
OK back on track. Starting with Dawg. He was so in sync with his emotions it seemed, and was not afraid to claim them that it was so refreshing because it's a rarity in MC books. Dawg is probably every girls dream man for many reasons, but he doesn't feel like he's good enough and that nearly undid me. I am not one for emotional books but get ready for this one. There may have been teary eyes. Dawg has not had it easy, and from that he's kind of hardened himself and made his club life his whole life. He really made me want to give him a hug a few times.
Then there's Emma. She's quiet, but assertive. She's agreeable, but not a doormat, which was huge for me. I think it's easy to cross that line from being logical and agreeing with results versus going into doormat territory. Soooo many books have been ruined for me because of women being doormats. Emma was not dealt an easy hand either but that does not bring this woman down. She's the type that never gives up, and will keep going even when all seems hopeless. That's pretty badass in my opinion.
Dawg and Emma together? SO fucking cute. Like seriously. These two had the chemistry, the emotional connection, and the feels... ohmergerdddd the feeeeels. Emma does not judge Dawg, and Dawg will do anything to protect Emma and whats important to her. All in all, this book has the strong swoon-worthy romance aspect that sometimes is just needed. This was not an action book in the series so keep that in mind. But like I said, he maaaay have pushed Hawk out of being my favorite. I just don't know yet! -
There is something about the writing style of Jeanne St James that I just love. It's the pull me in, invest my heart and make me love the bad boy! Dawg runs the strip club for the DAMC, When Emma comes in to audition, he knows she is not meant for this job, but he also knows she is meant for him. Emma is desperate for a job, will do almost anything she to make the money she needs. Will she find it working for Dawg? This story flowed like melted chocolate. Dawg is strong man, but underneath his gruff exterior, he is a teddy bear. You can feel his love and warmth and his future goals just made me love him more. Emma is tough as nails.I love her tonacity as she works through her own fears. And I especially love the incorporation of the other DAMC men and women. This "family" is so strong, and I feel like I am part of their world as I am listening. The effect Emma has on Dawg is incredible. She is in his head, keeping him on track and giving him the love and support he needs. I love how even when not around, he has her level headedness keeping him sane. The addition of Lily and Kaitlyn is just a bonus too! Every time, I think this hero is it for me, but I do believe that Dawg has stolen my heart!
The narration of this story is impeccable. Jeanne St James has picked the perfect team to portray Emma and Dawg. Ava Lucas brings her sultry voice and gives us Emma, from desperation to satisfaction! She is full of the emotions and warmth of this story and brings it to life. There could not have been a better choice than Aiden Snow as Dawg. His rough, raspy voice gives Dawg the feelings and longing for the next path of his life. The team together flawlessly performs the story and leaves us with all the feels! -
OK I like the plot of this story it was good I'm not sure I've read one with this storyline so it was different.
And I love anything MC so there's that aswel. But there are a few reasons why I couldn't give it 5 stars and beware SPOILERS are coming.
1. When Emma is auditioning to become one of Dawgs strippers and she is giving him the lap dance it goes from her trying to get the job to them having sex and to me that was like she would have sex just to get the job.
I know in the book it said it wasn't but to me it felt like it.
2. Why had the author made all the bikers seem really dumb. They can't say a whole sentence like they don't know how to talk which I can't understand why. Yes they are bikers but does that mean they don't know how to communicate properly it drove me crazy when Dawg was talking to Emma and then they the club members where talking to each other.
3. The over use of 'you got me' I'm sorry but I was ready for screaming half way through the book whenever this was written after everything Dawg said and then the club members too. I wanted to scream "YES WE GOT YOU "!!! now stop saying it all the time.
4. I know this is an MC book and people outside of MCs don't fully understand the way they live but Emma just couldn't understand anything no matter how many times she was told and again she was made out to be totally dumb about it all.
5. The ending.... I'm sorry but it was really disappointing and I couldn't wrap my head around how that was the end I wanted more than that so I was really disappointed with it.
OK so there may be a few other things too but these where my main points and I know not everyone will agree with me but this is my opinion and sorry if people don't agree. -
LOVED IT!!!
I think the older I get the more inclined to think age isnt the barrier it once was and the amount of time between a couple fall head over for each other doesn’t have to be a set amount of time, if it takes a week then it takes a week, So I found that even though this relationship was quick to light a fire it felt right. Fate can be a funny ucker that’s for sure.
The story was awesome, full of zest and spice and a heap of awesome characters.
I found Emma really cool and I loved that she had wit and a backbone.
Dawg however I found to be so incredibly cleaver but also comes off as not so. I enjoyed the way he sees the world.
As a couple they just click right away and I really loved that Dawg falls harder and faster than Emma does. The sexy times are nice and hot and adds to their connection.
I love that the series although revolves around the MC as a whole still has its own story to follow. I loved this plot of finding Emma’s daughter just brought in the element of nail biting suspense and action that I so crave.
I LOVED that Diesel and Jewel and Kiki and Hawk have a lil cameo but mostly Diesel.
All up I thoroughly enjoyed this addition to the series and cannot wait for more. The only thing that squashed me for one bit was the epilogue I loved it dont get me wrong but wanted that tiny bit more, but it did end awesomely as well Arrh whatever LOVED IT!!!!! -
This book is so much more then an MC read. It has heart, sweetness, passion, a bit of violence and many, many emotions. This is the story of Dawg and Emma.
Having met Dawg in past stories I thought I had a read on who he is and what he was about; but I was sorely mistaking! He is so much more, has deeper thoughts, deeper feelings then I would have guessed. He hides his true self well. In this story he us the ultimate alpha, possessive and protective, he comes across gruff and uncaring but not towards Emma, not for his MC.
Emma, on the other hand, is brilliant, bold, captivating and a great match for Dawg. She is hiding heartbreaking secrets, things that she is trying to out run. She is a teacher in desperate need of money, so she auditions for Dawg at his strip club. Unfortunately, she is an awful dancer, but Dawg still helps her out, there is just something about her that draws him in, he can't say no.
The plot of the story is well written and addictive. I could not put it down and was breathless to know what happened next. There is nothing I can say to express how much I enjoyed this book, so I will say this…
Full of emotions, and a few cry worthy scenes, this book is the heart of this series and will make any reader fall for Dawg and Emma. With the perfect balance of humor and heartbreak, this MC romance will become a favorite for all. I received an ARC and I am leaving an honest review.
