His Beauty (Wounded Souls, #3) Reviews

This is the least enjoyable of all 4 books I've read in this series !

It's all due to the H, because I loathed him. Steel is everything I despise in a hero and I wanted to kick him with steel toed boots in his balls. First of all, I must say that I think the name "Steel" is inappropriate for this H. The author should've called him "String" because he was controlled, like a puppet, by this evil, hateful, skanky, slutty, vicious, manipulative, gold digging OW called Callie.

Callie also happened to be the older sister of Mia, the heroine. In the second novel,
His Honey, Steel got down on his one good knee and proposed to that skank Callie. This was so painful and heart wrenching for the heroine Mia. It was one of the most awful scenes I've read in a romance novel. When that nauseating scene had happened in the second novel, I'd wished that someone with a sharp axe was nearby to take care of Steel's remaining good leg...

She rejected him and laughed at him, saying that she couldn't see herself married to a one legged guy. This man was SO stupid ! He knew that Callie was sleeping with other men in the club, including all of the prospects !

Steel was such a pathetic asshole. He repeatedly hurt the heroine's feelings each time he rushed off to go do her sister's bidding. If there was a college for douchebags, then Steel would probably graduate with honours in a Double Major degree: Asshology and WimpBitchery.

Now I knew, from the second novel, that there was gonna be all this nonsense in this book, so many of you are probably wondering why I still decided to read it, since it seemed to be...

Well, I was really really really bored and was in the mood for a trainwreck. So it was basically a case of the following:

    LOL.

Anyway, the author tried to redeem the whole Callie situation in this book by stating that Steel didn't love her but merely proposed to her because she was "safe". That made little sense to me, especially when it was later revealed that Callie was the informant who was working with Rogue and supplying him with information on the club. I guess that when Rogue needed information from her all he had to do was dial:

I didn't understand how Steel went from being totally obsessed with that evil woman in the second book to being in love with Mia in this novel. There was nothing positive or redeemable about Callie. She was a part time clubwhore ! She only came around to try to get information and to push her sister's ( Mia ) buttons by flirting with Steel. Callie didn't even hide her extra sexual activities from Steel and that's why nobody understood why he'd proposed to her.

Anyway, I really wished the author had allowed Mia to be paired with Creed. This whole "2 sisters and the same guy" trope wouldn't have had to be repeated in the series, when Creed ended up marrying his late wife's younger sister. It would've been nicer if the author had paired Steel with Creed's heroine instead of with Mia. That would've been more tasteful. I also found the heroine to be very dumb at times since she often placed herself in dangerous situations, where she got hurt.

Safety: No cheating after the MC's are involved but the H had been carrying on a long term sexual relationship with the heroine's sister. It ended before the novel started but it was still icky, in my opinion and Mia would probably always feel like second best.

For those of you who want to know what eventually happened to Callie: Nothing happens to her in this story, but she does end up getting arrested and thrown in jail in a subsequent novel. It's implied that she will spend a long time there, since she was found guilty of working with the villain Rogue. That made me a little happy, but I would've been happier if somebody had tortured her and left her out for the buzzards !

Steel was a total idiot from the first book to this one. Once he got his head out of his ass though he became the man that Mia deserved. Mia is too sweet at times. But she also found a backbone in this book which was much needed. I’m really looking forward to Mannix and Rainn’s story next.

    3 ⭐⭐⭐ - OK, or decent reads.
    =========================
The hero was in an open relationship with Callie for 3 years. He is obsessed with her.
He asks her to marry him and she humiliates him in front of all members of the club by laughing at him. He has an inferiority complex because he lost his leg when he was a military man. Callie is a clubwhore and has already fucked all members.
    She's our heroine's sister, yuck!
Our heroine is a virgin and loves the hero from afar. He only sees the bitch sister.
Whenever Callie calls, the hero drops everything and follows her like a puppy. It's pathetic.
Our villain continues to attack and put club members in danger.

Callie had been in my life for three years now and in my bed just as long. But not on a regular basis, I conceded. Callie was never a one-man kind of woman.

I hadn’t laid eyes on Callie since that fucked-up night when she laughed at me when I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me.

My obsession with the blonde had blinded me to the fact that Callie despised the younger sibling,

“Mia, I—” My words were cut off by Callie. “Steel, can we get going? I would like to take the long way and spend a bit of time with you.” She was talking to me, but her eyes were on Mia.

I needed to get away from the compound and Steel looking at my sister like he wanted to fuck her on his bike.

The way you just forgot about Mia and went off with that whore Callie makes me want to punch your face in,”

Having feelings for two women at once was kinda crazy, but having feelings for sisters was monumentally fucked up.

The entire club had witnessed him asking her to be his wife while I was in danger and after he’d told me on the phone that there was no chance for us.

He fucked my sister. MANY TIMES!

Apart from the baby, it really wasn’t ideal. He was hooked on my sister, he slept with my sister, and he used to want my sister.

I was dumbfounded. He didn’t want sex? What about him? I felt his hard erection through his jeans, so he was turned on. I didn’t understand.

“Yes, boss. Does Callie know you have jumped from one sister to the other? Is this some kind of sister fetish you got going?”

Callie was clouding my ability to see what Steel was seeing. I had seen them together so many times, laughing, kissing, and nearly in the act of sex.

For the past four hours, Callie had pressed herself close behind me, and her hands had travelled from my pecs to close to my groin so many times that I had to pull over and ask her to stop the game she was playing.

“Jesus, Steel. Is her pussy that golden? Or do you just have a fucked-up sister fetish?”

“Why was she on your bike, Steel? How can we have a relationship when you keep riding to her rescue?”

She fucking wanted me. All of me, a legless former sniper turned biker. Me.

Great read. Was definitely worried about this one. Turned out really great. Can't wait for the next one. Steel definitely made me feel his love for Mia, just took awhile. I do love the way Leah Sharelle makes her heroes grovel. Great story.

I know many of my GR friends hated Steel. Don't get me wrong I did too but I hated Mia more. She was such a Doormat she deserved all the suffering and heart ache.
She stood beside, dying for his affection like like a stray dog when all the while H was busy drooling over her sister who obviously is more sexy than the h. Calling it lust or convenient or a way to protect H's heart or h from all his fuckedup life, is bullshit and a lie. We readers are not fools, please don't treat us like one.
Back to the topic this stupid h tortured herself by watching them together for 3 years. She is still pinning for this asshole in who's eye she doesn't exists. instead of moving on or dating other guys, enjoying her life, making friends, clubbing, hell even Leaving the town and settling down in a peaceful place with friendly people and starting her life there and be happy. It's not like she had anyone here who'd miss her or loved her. She was better off somewhere else. Instead this fool gets pregnant (should have got some STDs from him. Would have served her right). See I told you she is a stupid, spineless, weak, pathetic, Doormat. She didn't even make him grovel hard when he took her sister on a ride.

H knew and repeatedly thought he had a lot of groveling and making up to do but this useless so Called heroine didn't bother for that, happy with the scraps of attention he threw at her. Even H was surprised.

And no matter what H had said he'd have married Callie(OW ) in a heart beat if she had said yes. So like I said stop trying to fool us. H always wanted OW and later he made excuses because he is a hero and is supposed to be in love with the h.

Do your self a favor save your time and don't read this shit. Read something worth your while.

Next one sounds disappointing too. They had threesome and H doesn't respect or value her enough. I think I am going to skip that too unless the h is very strong, doesn't give in easily and makes H work for it. But then again who would blame him, not only she is a stripper(which I don't mind) but also a club whore.

Ps. This entire series is full bad decisions made especially by heroes and then excuses after excuses as the so called REASONS for their behavior. Just don’t waste your time or money it on it

    Few examples of her stupidness:

“I needed to get away from the compound and Steel looking at my sister like he wanted to fuck her on his bike.

The way you just forgot about Mia and went off with that whore Callie makes me want to punch your face in,”

Callie was clouding my ability to see what Steel was seeing. I had seen them together so many times, laughing, kissing, and nearly in the act of sex.”

So, despite knowing all this she stayed with him like a pathetic weakling she was. And the cherry on top ……… just wait for it ………

    She’s a fucking virgin.

    Someone kill me now………

    2 stars

At least one gone from my TBR. I was aware of the bad reviews for this one but somehow, I wanted to see for myself. And it started well, in the beginning. The opening tag line from the author had its little effect on me, and I held hope:

Sometimes, what may seem is the second choice is really the only choice. The heart's choice is always the right one.

And the angst filled prologue kept the hope flame alive. I was being promised an H who was worried about the h, who knew he hurt her; and the h promised to be a vulnerable one, full of insecurities, feeling unloved and unwanted. Sounds like epic angst around the corner right?

Well, nope. Much of it was diluted by so much Tell (and much of it happening unseen in the past and recounted in barely a few lines, with no tangible feels to it). Most of the time, I felt as if I was being served with the long aftermath of an unseen deflagration and so any angst that may have existed had already burned itself out.

And the wishy-washiness of the leads was almost soul killing. For the first 40% of the story, the H's ass was stuck between 2 chairs, one of which he acknowledged to be rickety and toxic but for which, with no valid explanation, he could not make up his mind to throw away. He kept saying shit like 'I feel something for Mia, she is so perfect and kind, and no one can have her but me, BUT I have unresolved feelings for her nasty sister Callie'. Back and forth. Back and forth. To his credit, his confusion appeared genuine and naive. But nonetheless, soul tiring and gave me a severe case of (consecutive) whiplash. Worse, when he at last resolves that he really loves Mia, he unexplainably gives a bike ride to Callie for four hours. Worst still, he could never give an explanation on why he never said no and saintly Mia never asks him the why 🙄😤🤬!!! Mia, as an h, was also a deception. Despite the prologue's hint, she was no vulnerable, self-pitying h who would have at least tugged on a few of my heartstrings. Instead, she felt quite determined to win Steel no matter what rejection or humiliation he dished out to her (re: all in the past, sight unseen) and was content to have his baby as a way to tie him down.

And once past the 60% mark (when the short drama about the unexplained ride was done with), the story just plain sunk into boring, flimsy and pretend 'danger to the club girls from a maniac' territory, with half-assed black ops talk and a 'too much in your face' writing style that went downhill. All obviously to sell the rest of the books in the series.

*sigh* This could have been so much better, handled so much differently if only the story teased by the prologue had been followed through, and strong psychology had been used to bulk the characters. 2 disappointed stars, mainly because the story bones had potential, and maybe someday will be rewritten.

P.S. On a positive note, this MC book, thankfully does not have the usual tropes associated with the genre i.e. massive, knuckle headed manwhores and public orgies. Though 'sex parties' are mentioned for sub characters but not seen. Thank goodness for little mercies.

P.S.2 It was weird that none of the male bikers seemed to have road names but instead had actual names/surnames that could pass off as road names. Weirder still, it were the girls who seemed to be given nicknames that could pass off as road names. So confusing 🙄!

So much emotion, heat, sweet swoony goodness, and suspense all packed into this amazing book! Leah Sharelle’s writing shines even brighter with every addition to this series. I’ve been waiting impatiently for Steel and Mia’s book with high expectations and got more than I ever could have imagined with their story. Just when you think you know all there is about these characters, you learn there’s much more to them than you ever thought.
As anyone who’s been following this series can tell you, more than once I’ve wanted to strangle Steel. The man is completely blind to what’s right in front of him. Don’t get me wrong, I still found myself wanting to throat punch him a bit in the beginning but, man, when he opens his eyes everything changes. All these men love their women fiercely, but Steel takes it to a whole new level with the depth of his love for Mia.
Mia is the amazingly sweet woman we’ve all come to love. There’s never any doubt of how deeply and unconditionally she loves Steel. It’s been obvious since day one and you see how truly deep that love is first hand now. All the beauty that is Mia and Steel is still surrounded with not only all the characters we’ve come to love but also more revelations when it comes to the mystery that is Rogue. Once again I found myself on edge with the anticipation for what was going to come with the ongoing twists he keeps throwing. I’m dying for the next in the series!

    Love!!!!

Y'all this series just keeps getting better and I love these charcters!!! Mia is a sweetheart and the most forgiving person ever I still don't understand how her and Callie are sisters. Steel is a a*s and I wanted to choke him a few times but y'all the way Mia breaks him outta his shell is amazing. And her truly accepting his leg the way she does was awesome. I love how she is there for Creed in his time of need and helps him get through it. And Rogue is a complete psycho douche!!!

  • Julie Jackson

This book was fabulous. Steel is loyal to his club but looking for love. Callie is all wrong for him but she is a safe bet for him. Mia is his beauty and his love but he has to let her in. Mia has been in love with Steel for a long time but hates to see him with her sister. When danger comes for her, Steel makes no excuses and takes control. Can these two trust each other? Can Steel open up to her and make her see exactly what he wants. Awesome read with a fantastic storyline.

    2 Sister-Lovin Stars

This is Steele and Mia’s story. In
His Honey we saw that Mia is in love with Steele, but he’s in lust with her bitchy sister Callie. I was curious how the author was going to backtrack and make this love match believable. She did indicate that he was torn on some level (staring, getting jealous, etc.), but there was a TON that needed to be explained away. (always choosing Callie, having sex with Callie, dropping Mia on the ground to run to Callie, asking Callie to marry him, etc.) I’m not a huge fan of sister-lovin setups, but I was hoping this dynamic would generate more drama.

Unfortunately, it was pretty much angst and drama free because now Steel has a new outlook on life and his THREE year affair and MARRIAGE proposal were swept away because he secretly loves Mia. He wasn’t emotionally equipped for a meaningful relationship, so he chose Callie because she was the easy, safe path. Which makes zero sense because if it was just about sex… why wouldn’t he find some random skank that wasn’t related to the woman he loved… And… why would he always put Callie’s feelings/needs ahead of Mia’s? In the last book Mia was nearly blown up, but he dropped her on the ground as soon as Callie called for him when she was nowhere near the bomb.

…. And it went downhill from there.

From Mia literally begging him for sex the same night he left her to take Callie home and blew off his security shift at the bar because they went on a 2-hr joyride while she was being manhandled by customers. Even worse, she thinks he missed the shift because he was having sex with her sister.

To him going from I can’t give her what she needs to she’s the love of his life on a dime. Mia said it best… What I hated was the fact that he went from Callie to me so easily, and that he might still harbour strong feelings for her.… too bad she never followed that up with a convo.

And what is up with the bad guy?? All he does is taunt them that he’s going to kill all their women but never even tries to follow through. He could’ve easily killed them all several times but does nothing. Last book, he was all 🦹‍♂️ “I’m going to kill Stella, you’re going to watch her die”, then he purposely misses all her organs when he could’ve easily slit her throat. This book he’s all 🦹‍♂️ “I’m going to kill Mia, she’s a goner” , but when given the chance he kicks her and shoots someone else. (??) Then immediately switches to 🦹‍♂️ “I’m going to kill Rainn” … it’s silly.

And how clueless are these special ops soldiers? Am I the only one that thinks it’s obvious that Booth’s dad is the bad guy and Callie is the informant?? Also, if they are so honor bound that they can’t even use illegal software, why would Steele kill that guy? That couldn’t have been legal.

Bottom Line- I don’t think the author gave us enough to understand how Steel switched from being completely obsessed with Callie in book 2 to being head over heels in love with Mia… I think having a book in between him proposing and not screwing her would’ve helped. Regardless this isn’t a fit for me and I’m calling it.

Book 3 in The Wounded Souls series, this story focuses on Mia and Steel. We've met both in previous books, and have gotten part of their stories, but could tell that there was so much more to be said!

Steel is deceiving himself, about who he is, about what he wants, about who he wants. He came home from war not quite whole, in body or in spirit. Those around him know he isn't living life the way he should, that he's making bad choices, and passing up what could be the best thing in his life. But they know, until he finds himself, and realizes what he is doing, it's not going to change.

Mia is amazing. She is the perfect one to stand by a brother's side. But the one that she wants doesn't want her. And it's thrown in her face, over and over again, in the most demeaning way possible. She has to make a decision, move on with her life, or wait to see if the one that she wants can ever possibly see her standing there, waiting.

All of the Wounded Souls brothers have their own problems, but Steel hits closest to home, because of the abundance of soldiers that we have returning home with the type of injuries that he has, as well as the mind set that he is stuck in. It takes a strong man to overcome and move on, and it takes an even stronger woman to stand by his side, even when he pushes her away. This story was an amazing example of an enduring, supportive love that stands the test of time.

Leah Sharelle continues to outdo herself with this books. HIS BEAUTY has become my new favorite. Even more is exposed about the villainous Rogue that is haunting the MC, deception is uncovered, and even more secrets are exposed. Some with heart breaking truths.

I have liked Mia from the beginning. She is sweet and loveable, but I have felt that she doesn’t have a much of a backbone. And this is definitely NOT true! She does have one, but she has been beaten down so much by the crap that has been spewed at her from her family that I she almost expect the smackdown to come.

But Steel is no way shape or form makes her confidence rise. I have no clue what he saw in Callie or why he was with her, but that was where he went. But boy does he drop that like a hot potato when he sees the true colors that come flying out. I still had reservations with Mia and Steel getting together. She deserves someone that is going to care for her in the same way that the other men care for their women and I didn’t think that Steel was that man.

Boy was I WRONG!!!! He totally devotes himself to her. She is it. This does not mean that he is not a typical male and does and says things that would get him punch in sensitive area’s if it was some other woman, but he makes up for his stupidity in very sexy ways.

Bu this story is not only about Mia and Steel. There is even more going on in the dark were Rogue hides. Lies and deception unravel and truths come out that could have had devastating consequences if the men and women of the MC were not as close as they are.

And my little Shiloh is still her awesomely fabulous self in this book. She just keeps outdoing herself in each new book!

Can this series get any better? Yes, it can! I was a bit scared to read Mia and Steel's story. Steel has done some pretty shitty stuff to Mia and I was worried it would carry over into their story. I was glad to be wrong. Leah Sharelle writes MC like a boss. She has me so wound up inside wondering who Rogue is and who is going to be hurt next. I have NO clue at all who Rogue is, I believe some of the MC is starting to piece things together but I'm still in the dark. I love and hate it! I need to know!!

Mia is literally the sweetheart of the club. She's so nice and puts everyone above herself. She cares so much about everyone in the club and has a huge heart. Steel can be a jerk. They all can. Steel a little more so since he kinda led Mia around a bit in earlier books. He's a different man now, still alpha but softer and smarter. He has a few hang ups from losing his leg but Mia helps him heal and realize how lucky he is just to be alive. It's heartwarming to witness.

As these books progress I fall more in love with all these characters, though Shiloh will always be my favorite. Each man has a story, each man has tragedy, and each man has such a huge capacity to love. Each woman brings so much more to the club. Sass, love, softness, but mostly a reason to continue fighting. I'm in love with each of these men and women and need more. I also need Steel to shoot the Rogue bastard.

Emotions overload and the hearts wants what the heart wants

I enjoyed reading "His Beauty" book 3 of the Wounded Souls MC by Leah Sharelle and loved 'breathing in' Cooper Steel and sweet Mia's intense but loving tale. Boy, was this book intensified by psychotic Rogue and of course H/h eventful journey! While VP Steel had me worried for a bit in books 1 and 2, he learned his lesson and acknowledged what he needed and wanted was Mia and she even got that backbone I wanted her to exhibit in book 2 (YAY TEAM MIA)!!!!!!!! Also, we, the reader got to see the struggles and pain Steel had endured with selfish and manipulative Callie because VP was very lonely man while witnesses Deck and Booth finding their 'one' yet remaining with manipulative CALLIE until she was finally kicked from the compound only leaving Steel numb after she didn't accept his proposal!!! So honestly how could Steel be with a woman for three years knowing that she was repulsed by his amputated leg yet inside also knowing she was not loyal to anyone but herself! It don't much matter because Steel grovels extremely well for Mia in this story and with much needed conviction too! Can't forget about precocious Shiloh who still says and does the darndest things but do blame that or parroting!!!!!!!!! (laugh out loud)

And brooding Creed, well what a sad and complicated story after his lost of his pregnant wife and going back probably to quickly to his brothers in the sandlot. But Creed knew Steel in and out:

“His path to Callie is easy. There is no love, just release, and she is a distraction from what he really needs, which is you. His path to you is harder. You make him want to shed the sniper and the quiet, but he doesn’t know how. The day he lost his leg, he lost that part of him that sees his appeal to women. Callie shows interest, but she also makes him feel inadequate as a whole man. He is used to her, but it would kill him if you rejected him because of his prosthesis.”

The way author, Leah Sharelle weaved this story was so fine-tuned, so intense that I can't wait till the next book drops! BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!

Will it be Mannix and Rainn's story, Darth and Vegas' aka Julie's story or Creed or even the computer specialist Ford????? Time will tell, right???

4.5 His Beauty was Mia stars *****

OMG.. Can this series get any more intense or exciting? The Wounded Souls MC is most certainly an series that you don’t want to miss out on. These ex-military alpha male, most of whom served together, as well as the rest of the club, are a force to be reckoned with. The still have each others back, as they did in the military, but as a club they protect each other and what is theirs. AND LORD HAVE MERCY, our club Princess, the 5 year old precious little girl with the wild imagination and mouth to go along with it, is back in full force and will have you literally rolling with laughter. She is absolutely Priceless.

As we have learned in the previous books, Rogue is out to hurt the patched members of the Wounded Souls by hurting their women. So far he has come close and cause some harm and devastation but nothing that couldn’t be overcome. But when Rogue turns his sights on Mia, all bets are off.

Steel is very lonely and looks at himself as half a man, since he lost his leg during the war. He has tried to move on, with the wrong type of women, but most are repulsed by leg, or lack thereof, and only what to be with him for his good looks and other “attributes”. Steel has always had a soft spot for Mia, but knows he’d never survive if she were to reject him as others have or see him as less than. As for Mia, she is over the moon for Steel. But no matter what she does or says, he won’t let her in. Instead he pushes her away and continues to go after her self-absorbed, egotistical sister. But when danger starts calling, he knows he’ll do anything to keep Mia safe and in his life. And who knows, maybe her being scared is just the kick in the patooty he needs.

2 Thumbs up for this great continuation to the series. It’s fast paced, sexy and one heck of a ride we go on as we follow Steel, Mia, Creed, and the rest of the guys as they fight their own inner turmoils, deal with Rogue and deal with the previous aftermath of Rogues attempts on the club’s women. I can’t recommend this serious enough. It will have you laughing, smiling and wanting to pull them all in for a group hug. 5 Amazing Stars for His Beauty and the Wounded Souls series.

In this third book we continue the story and mystery that surrounds the Wounded Souls MC. Rogue is still out there threaten all the women the men of the MC care for. Now his target is Mia, the one woman that affects Steel in a way that doesn't make sense but he isn't the only brother that has his eyes on her. Creed has a special relationship with Mia too but Steel has her heart, but will she win out his heart that is set on her older sister Callie? All Mia wants is to belong to the one man that owns her heart, body and soul but it may be too late and Rogue may finally get his true revenge. OMG! I loved this book. Shiloh just cracks me up so much, I love that little girl. Steel and Mia are so perfect together, Steel just needs to open his eyes. Creed broke my heart, his story is so painful and you feel his pain jump off the pages. Mia is so sweet and just the perfect friend and woman. This series is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED by me. Such an amazing story. I can't wait for where Leah Sherelle takes us next.

This is the third installment in a series. This was a good book. It's an action packed story. I really like the characters. However, I don't feel like I know them very well, as this book is more plot driven than character driven. Overall, though, it's still a good book. and I'm looking forward to reading the next one in the series.

First off let's say this is a new series and author for us and we have to say that we loved the first book in this new amazing series and every book that came after.

We loved what this club stood for and the members who were part of the MC club. We often take for granted the sacrifices our soldiers make for us to keep us safe the he** they go through and the long effects they have to live with. For we are eternally grateful for all they do to keep us safe. This Club was created for a team of ex-military soldiers and the men they served with. We loved the support system that this club had for every member as well as the former soldiers to come it was a place for them to feel like they belonged and had purpose. What we loved most though as they had the right people to cope with the nightmares, PTSD, mood swings, etc to help them make it through the day. This was such a touching story that it touched your heart and is not a story that you would be forgetting anytime soon.

We enjoyed this latest installment in this ongoing series. We loved the story from cover to cover.

Omg ! Steel and Mia made an awesome couple! We loved how giving and caring Mia was this girl wore her heart on her sleeve at all times. Steel was a character that you would love to hate but, he makes that impossible because he is just misguided and has so many insecurities due to his appearance but, oh so loveable. Omg! You do not know how many times we wanted to kick him in the fanny slap him and say "Wake up already!"Mia herself had many insecurities too but, hers stemmed from living in her sister's shadow all her life.

In this story, things became more complicated as it was surrounded by a love triangle or maybe just a lust triangle. lol

We loved Mia from the onset of the story. We loved the antics she endured to capture Steel's attention it gave us so many laugh-out-loud moments. We found her to be insecure but, she had a fierceness to her, she loved with her whole heart, and she was beautiful kind, and caring. We love how she wore her heart on her sleeve at all times. We loved her camaraderie with her girls. We loved how much in love she was with Shiloh as the rest of them and loved how she watched Shiloh's favorite show Tour of Duty with her countless times. We also loved the growth of Mia's character as the story progressed she finally let go of all of those insecurities she had as well.

    ~Some favorite quotes~

Quote-“Just for tonight, Steel. Just pretend you want me for just tonight.”

Quote-“What can I get ya, pretty boy?” I smirked at the name she and Shiloh insisted on calling me all the time. Just about all the women called me that now, except Mia—she called me stud, or in the case of last night, she called me babe. And fu** me, I liked it.

Quote-“I do love you, and I have for so long now, a deep soulful love.”

Quote-“You are everything to me, Cooper Steel, the beat of my heart, the alpha caveman I adore. “Now take me to bed and give me no less than five orgasms.”

Steel for me was frustrating at times but, he just needed to be more comfortable in his skin. Found him to be hot and vulnerable at times. We loved how he was so protective of Mia and he loved her fiercely once he gave his heart. Steel was wounded in the war and lost a leg so this makes him even less trusting in what others will think of him ( meaning lovers) and whether they would accept him for the way he is or if is he just fooling himself. It broke our hearts that he felt this way and sometimes we wished he had more faith in Mia to fully put his trust in her to accept that she loved him for who he was and what he stood for and whether she would be able to love and give her love to half a man in his eyes anyway. "He broke my heart!" We loved how fiercely he loved Shiloh and we always looked forward to their special times together.

    ~Some favorite Quotes ~

Quote-She was so upset when we told her about Bullet, and my heart nearly broke when she cried in my arms. It did break, though, when she gave me her favorite stuffed plush dog shaped like a German shepherd. Just like my Bullet. “Take this, Unca Coop. I sleep wif him, but now youse can. But if I can’t sleep wifout him, youse is going to hafta give him back. Okays, big fella?”

Quote-“Hey, Beauty, got a minute?” I didn’t miss the way her eyes softened at my endearment for her. She is a beauty. Fuc**** classically beautiful with her dark-brown hair that sat a smidge below her shoulders, her oval face and pretty shaped lips, and the cutest button nose, but it was her eyes that hauled you in. The brown was like melted chocolate and almond in shape, giving her a sultry, sexy come-hither look.

Quote-“The last thing I see you as is a little sister, Mia Stone. I have thought more than once about being balls deep inside you, baby.”

Quote-“Beauty, do you feel my heart beating?” he asked. He took one of my hands from the back of his neck and briefly kissed my knuckles before placing it against his chest. The warmth of his skin heated my hand, and I nodded slowly, nose to nose. At that moment, words were impossible.“It beats for you, Mia. Only you and our baby. Protecting you, Beauty, is my priority for you are my reason for breathing, my motivation to be a better man. You, Beauty, are the love of my life,” he whispered softly, his breath tickling my lips

This couple burned up the sheets and they became more scorching when Steel finally let go of all those insecurities that were weighing him down. We loved the fun they had and enjoyed with each other in and out of bed.

We loved all the characters this story had whether it was an MC member, or all the future old ladies to come but, we had a real soft spot in my heart for Shiloh as she cracks me up! I love how you never know what is going to come out of her mouth.

    Some of Shiloh's favorite quotes

Quote-“Is them your sh**kickers, Unca Coops?” the tiny voice came from under the table. “Yep,” I answered, popping the p.

Quote-“Reckon I might be losing my princess title if Vinnie knocked Blondie up with a girl baby.”

    Quote-“Whatever flops your mop, Studmuffin.”

We loved the suspense but, most of all I loved the amazing characters that the story had for us to enjoy and fall in love with. The story got even hotter and more suspenseful and we loved all those secrets that started coming to life right before our eyes.

The story was filled with so much love as well as brought us tons of laughs especially when all the girls got together and then all He** broke loose. LOL, We are thinking that this is a good thing as it opened the eyes of the men of the club about what was right under their noses, and if they didn't get the sh** together quickly they were going to lose those they already loved to another.

This story as well as the series is emotionally engaging and we love that about a story as one minute you are laughing the next crying. We love that you feel connected to these characters. For us, they are all my favorites whether it's the men or women as they all have great personalities as well as their quirks that we love so much!

We love that the love story itself is riddled with and takes so many twists and turns. As the story progressed you could not help but get emotionally attached to the characters as they were all so love-able.

Awesome read! Recommended read to All!

A personal note: This is a series that needs to be read in order and although the story does not end on a cliffhanger all the books are connected by one common thread and are an ongoing story to the conclusion of the series. We read the series all at once and we are glad I did because the moment we finished one book I started on the next.

    3 1/2 out of 5 stars

This series has me intrigued. I really want to know who the Rogue is and I really want to see Creed find his HEA, but it’s got a few issues that keep it from the 5 star status for me.

Steel irritated me through the first two books with his “girlfriend” Callie and her pure evilness. While Mia was the sweet, innocent one of the group. She deserved better than Steel from everything I’d seen, but he proved me wrong with his actions.

I enjoyed several things about this book like the continued mystery of Rogue and the way the entire club is focused on him - and that we get to keep in touch with all of them that we’ve met in previous books as we continue with the series. I enjoyed the deep connections that the characters have with each other. I liked that Creed played a little more role in this one (as he’s my favorite of the MC guys so far).

However, it drives me nuts that these women are virgins who then automatically love all things in the bedroom. This one was bad because Mia repeated the phrase “Jesus, Mary & Joseph” whenever she was excited, confused, or just about anytime and it just didn’t fit for me. BUT I did love some of the quotes from Steel to Mia like this one:

“You were never my second choice, Mia. YOu are my only choice, the right choice. My heart’s choice.”

Overall, i am enjoying this series and will continue with it because I’m so curious about the identity of Rogue. He went crazier than normal in this one and I can hardly wait to see what he does next.

I cannot tell you enough how happy I am that Leah Sharelle started writing because I have been hooked to this series. Absolutely obsessed and I am thrilled that I found this series. I am a sucker for MC books but this isn't the typical MC books about the outlaw MC, no this is a group of veterans that have formed a MC and they run their club following the law. Now with that being said I have been eager to get Steel & Mia's story since book one. I have been getting angrier and angrier with Steel with each book. His stupid decisions that hurt Mia time and time again. And then my frustration with Mia for not moving on.

Man I don't want to give too much away about the book but I will say that my heart was absolutely clenching in my chest while reading this. Leah did such a great job conveying the emotions. There was a time when I understood why Steel was doing what he was doing not that I didn't still want to kick him in the balls for doing it but I got it. The issues this book touches on what injured vets go through and the suspense, intrigue and action that has continued.

I can't wait to get the next book in this series. I am dying to know if my suspicions about who Rogue is could be correct. I am constantly questioning myself and I have to know. Not to mention that their are more hard headed men in the MC that have their heads up their asses about the women they love but won't claim.

I am completely addicted to The Wounded Souls MC series, and have been waiting to see if Steel could get his act together, because I'm completely #TEAMMIA all the way, and he's done some horrible stuff to her in the first couple of books. See, Mia's in love with him, but he keeps going off with her sister, while breaking Mia's heart in the process. And what's worse is that he knows he's breaking Mia's heart, but he can't seem to stop himself. So yeah, I've been wanting to really put a hurting on him for a while now, which makes my heart hurt, because, he's broken, almost too broken to see what's in front of him. Luckily, the amazingly talented Leah Sharelle, has turned him around in my eyes, although, he still needed a junk punch or two for good measure, as she penned an emotional story that was realistic of second chances, not to mention some sexy times that light the sheets on FIRE! And yes, the secondaries are all present to give me some laughter, including one tiny human that never stops stealing the show with her unfiltered ways. Plus, we still have one big baddie trying to get at the women, so there are the twists to let my f-bombs fly everywhere! I LOVE this series, and CANNOT WAIT for more, so I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

I have been anticipating this book since reading the first book and it definitely excelled my expectations. The author has definitely outdone herself with this book her writing seems to get better and better with each book, Tissues are definitely a must with this book as there are some heartbreaking moments and this book really gets soul deep. This book is well written and flowed well and was easy to follow the storyline.

Steel and Mia's road was Heartwrenchingly beautiful to read it was not an easy road and it was well fought, they have many ups and downs and obstacles along the way. I loved reading about past and future charecters and Shiloh, Shiloh is definitely the life of the party and just adds more soul to this book even though it has so much already.

I would recommend this book and author to anyone who loves getting immersed in an amazing book and loves a soul deeps Heartwrenching beautiful story that they cant put down, I honestly can't wait to read the next book in this series and continue this magnificent journey. If you get this book I honestly hope you love and adore it as much as I have. Happy Reading ♡

The injuries that Steel has endured from serving his country has left him feeling that he doesn’t deserve better than casual hookups as no one would want him for anything more. He knows that Mia is too good for him so instead he has casual sex with her sister while Mia watches from the sidelines keeping her pain to herself.

Mia has loved Steel for as long as she can remember, and it hurts to watch him hook up with other women when he doesn’t want her. She knows that she needs to forget about him, but she hasn’t worked up the nerve to do that yet.

When Mia is in danger Steel trusts no one to protect her except for him but will this be their chance to finally be together or is Mia destined to have her heart broken once again?

I loved the characters as Mia is determined not to give up on the one man she wants until she shows him that they are meant to be together and Steel only wants what is best for her even if that means it isn’t him. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Leah Sharelle has been my favorite new author since the first book in this series. I was wary about reading this one because Steel has been a mean jerk to Mia in the first 2 books.

When these men fall in love, they fall in love and love their women fiercely. Steel is no different one he decides to take a chance on Mia. He makes mistakes as the other men have done but he works hard to prove to Mia that he loves her.

Rogue is still a problem for the men, it has me biting my nails trying to figure out who he or she is. I feel bad for Creed though because he really cares for Mia. I can't wait for him to find his lady and fall in love again.

Little Miss Shiloh is still my favorite. I cannot wait for her to grow up after reading this and what she has to say about finding a man. It is going to be fun watching her fall and I hope her man is ready because he better be all ALPHA because she is protected and loved by all these Alpha men already.

I cried, there I said it. This story was so emotional for me. I just don’t understand how to very opposite people could be related. Mia is always helping out and would give anything to anyone to make their life easier, whereas Callie is a raging b**ch always making fun of everyone and dragging them down. Then you have Steel, the clueless military trained sniper, in the middle of the two sisters. Steel just keep being a total jerk to Mia when it comes to her sister Callie and she always forgives him. Steel feels he’s unlovable because of his amputation. Callie ridicules him and makes him feel bad about the amputation therefore he is gun shy in intimate situations. But all of that changes when Steel really “sees” Mia for the first time. Will he let his demons rest enough to have a real and meaningful relationship with Mia? Will he be able to protect her from Rogue who is gunning for the women of the MC?

  • Wendy Livingstone

This is the 3rd book in this awesome series, and is Steel and Mia’s story. Steel came home from the military a broken man, who is merrily existing and making bad choices along the way. Mia has always put everybody else before herself and she has loved Steel for a long time, but he is with her sister. Will Mia finally have had enough and decide to move on? No spoilers; this is a definite must read, you will not be disappointed. This is a well written flawless and totally captivating page turner, which had me hooked and intrigued throughout, and I cannot wait to read more in this phenomenal series. I highly recommend this authors’ work for all MC lovers out there.

I think its because I know what to expect now that this book wasn't as painful to read as the previous ones. You have to, absolutely have to, overlook the whole Rogue suspense side of the books because he makes all the H's (from previous, this and future books) like blustering fools and that story line is so riddled with contradiction and silliness. Rogue hurting all the h's in turn is the common thread here and its gotten old.
The romance was ok, I was looking for more angst but there wasn't much. The fact that the H was in lust if not in love with the h's sis and repeatedly his actions (in previous books) confirmed this, yet he seemed to get over his obsession very quickly. Couldn't help but think 2nd choice initially. Of course the h rolled over for him. At least he beat himself up with guilt about it every so often. There's a load of contradiction in the romance too, so the switches in thoughts and actions often don't line up but what the hell, I was skimming it by the end anyways.

This is book 3 in Leah's Wounded Souls Series. His Beauty is about the Vice President of the Wounded souls Motorcycle Club Cooper Steel, and his story of how he fell in love with Mia Stone. Mia worked at the bar that Steel owned with member of the club. I was in love with this story from page one, I enjoyed watching there story unfolded.

I really, really, really enjoyed this book!! This is Mia and Steel's story!! I recommend you read His Sweetness and His Honey before you read His Beauty as it really helps in understanding their backstory!! Mia has always been in love with Steel and Steel who is "dating" her evil sister doesn't see it till it's almost to late!! Between Steel's demons and Mia's self doubt they have alot to work through!! I love this whole series and highly recommend His Beauty you won't regret it!!
