EyeLike Colors Reviews

Insanely gorgeous photographs and graphic design. The book POPS with color and does an excellent job of allowing color to be complicated. All the images are of things from nature - flora, fauna, minerals, and so on. (Anyone up for a game of animal, vegetable, or mineral?) And I love the inclusion of color spectrums on the pages, and the occasional name for various shades and tones. And the transitional pages are a wonderfully uncommon addition (red to green apples, green to brown leaves, blue to orange skies). Plus, I've never seen a color book that includes transparent, translucent, iridescent, and pearly. Good stuff. The kids and I have a shared love for the visual quality of the book. I can see many possibilities for application in our science and art curriculums. (I look forward to checking out the Shapes and Patterns and Numbers titles in the series.)
