  Makayla and Trent's story was fast paced, unexpected and wild. I really felt bad for Makayla having to deal with insane co-workers. Her boss was a tool, and I was happy he got his in the end.
  
  The creepy little accountant was disgusting, and I was so happy that Trent roughed him up. Okay, I got a little ahead of myself. Rewind! Makayla is working for a firm only to discover the new guy on board is a former associate of her neighbor's. Trent is a special operative who is undercover trying to find out who in this office is funding terrorists. He poses as an ad man to fit in, but he does anything but.
  
  All of the women in the office are throwing themselves at him, all except Makayla, the one woman there who has caught his eye. To keep from blowing his cover he is vile and rude to her. Soon, his little act is blown out of the water and they end up getting it in in the elevator. What is it about elevators?(In my Christian Grey voice)
  
  Makayla was keeping a secret from Trent, a huge one. Just before he started working there she found out she was preggers with her boss's baby. She got drunk one night and slept with him, but couldn't remember it after. She wanted nothing more to do with him, but apparently his mind was blown because he kept harassing her.
  
  In this office, things are not as they seem, and no one is who they say they are. Things get crazy really fast, but you need to read it for yourself. I refuse to ruin it. There is a HEA, but that's all I have to say about that. Good read!

  Too much victim blaming and slut shaming from the so-called hero, Trent towards Makayla that made rooting for them as a couple impossible to me. If a guy said to me a third of what Trent said to Makayla getting into my drawers would be the last place he'd ever get to be. And yes, there were times Makayla did stand up for herself but it was promptly erased and she'd be reduced to giving into her hormones. *deep sigh*. This is a novella with bonus stories attached, so with the short frame of time to develop characters and plot everything was rushed. The writing wasn't bad, I just needed this to be a tad longer to give me time to warm up to things. Instead I was left feeling nothing but cold.

  The plot of this story had my head spinning to try and figure out who was involved in financing terrorist. I was completely fooled. Trenton and Mikayla got off on the wrong foot but when that spark ignited it exploded. Trenton just fell head over heels for Mikayla. Even though Mikayla had a one night drunken stand with her boss Perry long before she and Trent were involved, he got over his jealousy once her life was in danger. He came to the understanding that his life without her was unacceptable. He wanted his HEA with Mikayla and all that came with her.

  This is a hot steamy book with lots of drama! Trent and Makayla are fantastic together Trent is undercover and doesn't want to get close to Makayla for safety reasons. I enjoyed this story it is descriptive, engaging and will engage you until the very last page! I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this story for an honest review.

  My first book by this author. I really liked the dynamic between the characters. This was a fast-paced romance with some steamy scenes. The hero was a bit rough around the edges, but very likeable and the heroine was confident, but made some poor choices. Together they were perfect. Good read.

  This book was good, full of creepy coworkers, suspense, a boss with a God complex and a hot government official with a bad attitude and a wee bit of a chip on his shoulders. This was a quick easy read that did not disappoint. I wish it was longer but it was very enjoyable. Enjoy!

  arc review For honest review. Trenton shows up at makayla's work and she recognized him .Trenton is there under cover for the national security. This has a lot going on and is a page turner . Awesome story

  Makayla is a wonderful, strong and very real character. Trent is an a$$ working undercover at her advertising company. This is a very good story with hot sex scenes and some action.

  I really did not like this book it was to fast paced and all over the place I would have loved to see Mykala
  and Trenton relationship develope more and for her to move on to better job and to see what happened to Perry and whether or not he found out about the baby.

  This author knows how to reel you in and keep you! The background information is sufficient to get your wheels turning. The steamy love scenes kept me wanting to read more. The couple was a perfect match, this series could be endless.
