    Gross

The actual story he potential but it was done so badly that it didn't work. If they both had missed the other and Kane wasn't such a gross manwhore, it might be better, but both people were way too promiscuous, Kane admits it wasn't like he thought about Zandra all the time, and he's supposed to be this great dad but he was obviously a huge slut. That doesn't sound very much like he was a good dad or like he cared much about Zandra. Zandra was very odd also with her behavior. It wasn't compatible with her and was inconsistent. This was not a good second chance romance at all, and I don't at lol recommend reading it.

Michelle has done it again with this new one. Two of my favorite tropes in one romance. I enjoyed this book so much. Every new book Michelle writes, is amazing. The writing was great, the chemistry between the characters was beautifully written. Lots of emotions as well between the two characters. Great book.

It took me a while to get into the story I just couldn’t connect with any of the characters. I hated how Zandra felt that she had to be ‘more’ sure the job had to change but everything else like seriously wth!! I had a lot of love/hate feels with Kane I wanted to slap him upseide the head at one stage and then he would say something and it was swoon worthy and the sex scenes were good.

All in all the storyline was good, it was well written although sometimes it felt like it was dragged out.

Whoa. Love the Storm This One Evokes.
I have a feeling this story is really going to kick up a dust storm with some people. Maybe I’m wrong. But the intriguing characters Ms. Love has woven into this story are simply not the norm, and what makes them so unusual may also make them a bit controversial for some. For instance, our hero, the sexy and drop-dead gorgeous Dr. Kane Price is an amazing dad and astoundingly level-headed, but he also seems to have a huge controlling streak. He might also appear to some to be overly concerned with public opinion, although most of his fears are probably justified as far as that goes.

Then there’s the beautiful spitfire Zandra Larkin. She’s independent, a survivor, and way more intelligent than she realizes. She’s also never held a job other than as a cocktail waitress at the kind of bars where they like you to dance on the tables and do body shots for extra tips. Dressing like a young sex goddess and wearing lots of makeup are all part of the lifestyle, and this is all Zandra has known since she’s had to survive on her own in her late teens. Although Zandra and Kane went to school together when they were younger, their lives have been vastly different for the last decade or so; and that’s going to be a big problem.

This is, in truth, a tremendous story. It’s beautiful in the way that some characters stood together and sacrificed to ensure that a wonderful baby had every opportunity to thrive within his own loving family. It’s heartbreaking in the way others chose to view this gift of God, whether he was planned or not. It’s infuriating to see the damage done to so many lives over the course of the years because of one simple bad decision. No. Strike that. It wasn’t the one bad decision that caused so much damage. It was the domino effect of bad decisions following that one that did all the damage. One “accidental” choice didn’t have to result in all that bitterness, damage to relationships, and destruction of future plans.

From this review, the reader might assume the story is dark and dismal. That’s not the case at all. While it is very angsty, it’s also full of light—and most of that light comes from the charming child of Kane and Zandra: Fox. He is a force to be reckoned with in this tale. Fox is intelligent, mature beyond his years, loving to a fault, and just…adorable. He’s a wonderful grounding agent for some of the anxiety that goes on within the storyline, and he’s a fabulous wingman for his dad.

So what can the reader expect from this remarkable novel? This is a story that can be shared with your coworkers: Kane and Zandra bring the heat when it comes to the love scenes. In fact, the tension between these two absolutely crackles, nearly sparking my kindle into failure before they even get to the good stuff! There is some adult language, although mostly in the passionate parts. You’ll find lots of genuine emotion with these awesome characters, and tons of heart.

Very interesting, well thought out, and well written book📑 by Michelle Love. It delves into a place I've never seen in all the thousand or so romances I've read in the past couple of years.
The young woman who must give up her baby👶 for adoption is never seen in a romance💕, but it's a reality in real life. I'm happy to see this real life heartbreak💔 made the subject of a popular Adult book📑. It's a tough subject, but I feel Ms. Love did a great job with it.
    Highly recommend.

Overcoming The Past For A Better Future Of Love and Family💕💕

A new and OUTSTANDING book from Michelle Love that will rock your world, break your heart then put it back together with more hope, love and understanding. Zandra was a shy bookworm with controlling religious parents. On the one night she lies to her parents to go with friends to a party she gives into temptation with her high chool crush leaving with so much more than a memory. Kane wakes up and Zandra is gone but he will see her when school starts back up and he'll ask her out properly then. That chance never comes because that one night has consequences and Zandra's parents uproot and takes the family to Chicago so nobody knows the shame of Zandra's sinful pregnancy, and now they are more controlling than ever forcing her to give her baby up. Now ten rough and heartbreaking years later Zandra is back in her hometown working as an exotic waitress at a hot nightclub with her friend once again. Fate is a cruel bit*h when she brings Zandra and Kane in close proximity again. Zandra was never able to tell Kane about their baby boy she was forced to give away, but Kane has a secret of his own. Through help from his family he was able to find Zandra and secretly adopt their son, Fox, and raise him. When their secrets are revealed will they be able to move forward with their lives and become a family or are the hurdles too high to conquer???

This story brought tears of sadness and happiness to my heart and eyes. The spin Michelle put in this story is something that isn't common in books I've read but happens in everyday life. The characters will grip your heart and make you want to smack somebody at the same time. The heartache, trama , and self doubt are real but do is the hope and love. If I wore a hat I would too it to Michelle for the way she broached such a subject as this and turned it into a positively beautiful story. A definite one click must read as is all stories by Michelle Love. I also one clicked when it was available after reading an ARC.

When she was 16 years old Zandra Larkin fell pregnant, always the shy girl, with religious controlling parents, and when they found out she was pregnant they pulled her out of school and moved her away without any explanation to anyone, forcing her to give up the baby.

For ten years Zandra's lived in a zombie state, never mentally able to move on from that traumatic event, it shaped her life, she worked as a waitress in a night club and didn't have any direction and struggled with bouts of depression, masking herself and her depression behind makeup and a lifestyle that wasn't true to herself.

When her friend calls her to move to Charleston she hesitates not wanting to return to her childhood home, that held so many memories, including those of Kane Price, the boy who got her pregnant ten years ago.

Kane Price never imagined he'd see Zandra Larkin again, but when he did he knew he couldn't let the mother of his son go again; not just for his sake but for his son's sake.... Can Dr Price who's worked so hard to provide for himself and his son allow this woman into their lives? Or would it be a big mistake?

This was a wonderful story, told from dual perspectives and dealing with both sides of the story a teenage pregnancy, giving up a child and reuniting all of them years later showing the struggles they all go through in forging new relationships and learning new roles to take on personally. I enjoyed this story alot, the story development and the characters piqued my interest from the first chapter and kept me going. Well worth the read if you ask me.

This was the first of Michelle Love's stories that I've read and it definitely won't be the last.

Zandra has had a hard life. She was forced, by her parents, to give up an important part of herself at 16 and has been on her own since she was 18. Her life takes an extraordinary turn after she moves back to her hometown. She unexpectedly runs into the one person who 10 years before had such a dramatic effect on her life. She now has to trust that she deserves a second chance at the love she lost or continue to live a damaged life.

Kane lost Zandra just when she was beginning to be important to him but at the same time he gained a very important part of himself which changed his life forever. After he finds her again, he struggles with the conflict he feels in wanting her back in his bed and letting her back into his life and the life of the one who is his whole world. You need to read this story and join Zandra and Kane on their path toward the life they were always meant to have and the happiness they deserve.

Michelle Love weaves a delightful tale with interesting characters. You will be effortlessly drawn into their story, finding the characters easy to relate to. The story flows well, the characters are well developed, and you will find it hard to put down. Come take this journey with Zandra and Kane while they find their HEA. I recommend this book as an enjoyable read!

A wonderfully well written loving drama about a 16 year old raised and controlled and emotionally abused by her overly strict parents. She lies to them and goes to a party with her best friend. Zane and her start talking and end up acting upon the intense chemistry. Her parents up and move the whole family after she becomes pregnant from that night and take the baby and give it up for adoption. 10 years later and she moves back to town and becomes roommates with her best friend while working as a cocktail waitress. Zane grows to become a dr doctor and is a father. They run into each other after all these years. The heat is still undeniably. An amazing story that is heart-wrenching, sad, and so much turmoil, dealing with issues from the past, carrying a lot of baggage. Another great read from an amazing author one click today you won't be dissappointed.

Zandra has had a crush on Kane for a while but her puritanical parents never allowed her to date or to think she was worthy of being loved.
Kane always thought the shy Zandra was beautiful but she never gave him or anyone else the time of day. That is until that fateful night that she lied to her parents and went to one of the "in" parties with her best friend. When Kane began talking to her, they felt the chemistry between them and acted on it.
That was 10 long years ago and so many things had changed, especially Zandra.
You need to really read this book to see how it all plays out. Ms. Love is a talented writer that will have you hating to reach the last page and having to wait for her next book to come out.

"Dirty Little Secret" will make you cry! Kane and Zandra's story was so gripping with loss, love, and finding a happiness they never thought could happen. I understand that parents have to make hard decisions at times for their children, but making a decision for Zandra with no input from her, caused her so much sorrow and unhappiness, it bordered on cruelty for me. Kane stepping up with the help and support of his family, is the total opposite. With careful steps forward in introducing Zandra back into his life and that of their son, the story was so emotional, it brought me to tears many times during my reading of their story. A story that is so well done, I recommend it if you are looking for a read that will make you feel. I would like to thank Booksprout for gifting me "Dirty Little Secret". My opinion is my own. This is mine. 5 Stars!

This is a second chance secret baby story with a twist. Unlike other stories, the baby stayed with the biological father, who though also a teenager at the time, but with the full support of his family, stepped up to be a very responsible adult and father. Zandra was somewhat of a lost soul, whilst she built herself an independent life, she never got over losing her child. What was never in question was their love for their adorable son, Fox. At times both characters could be frustrating. Kane was responsible but very controlling and Zandra was insecure and felt unworthy. But I guess that’s what made these characters feel more real was because of their good points as well as flaws. The storyline moves quickly, their passion oozes from the pages and the extended epilogue was a great addition to see where these characters landed. A well rounded story.

Michelle Love is one of my favorite authors but this book really wrung me out; seems like I cried most of the way through it. It was just so sad that Zandra had the innate ability to have deep love yet was so closed off and alone because her parents had never seen her as anything other than a duty. Luckily Kane had a supportive family and even though he was tempted and almost got sucked into the pattern of controlling by insisting on his family following rules at all costs, when he saw that even though he was being good and generous, he was losing Zandra, he was able to open himself up to giving totally, love without reserve. It paid off in happiness and joy for his whole family! I cannot wait to read more Sons of Sin Books!

  • Ann L

Wonderfully written story, I felt for Zandra, when her child was taken away from her, her parents felt she was way too young but pleased with the outcome of the adoption. Kane, the child's father, didnt know he was as Zandra was taken away before he found out, when he did, well I won't say more only that they meet again 10 years later and this is one second chance romance I could not put down

I received a copy and I am voluntarily leaving my own honest opinion

Dirty Little Secret is an emotional second chance, semi-secret baby story between Kane and Zandra. It’s painful and heartbreaking and fulfilling and warm and with a twist. I was both frustrated and proud of both characters as they both matured and grew. Fox is the turning point and pivotal character in this book. A highly recommended read. I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review.

Zandy got pregnant at 16 and her parent forced her to give it up for adoption. Kane, the father was able to locate the baby and he and is family raised his son. Kane went on to become a Doctor. When Zandy moves back to town and learns that Kane is raising their son. Fast-paced read with loads of drama and emotion. I really liked the characters and this new twist. A good read.

  • Vickie

Loved this book. Michelle. Painted a haunting picture of a broken hearted girl named Zander. Zee was trying just to survive her life when she meets Kane her first. Kane is the father of Fox and this book manages to make you laugh, cry, love, hope, and believe in fate as the story weaves there lives together to a happy forever after. Great Story.

  • A.B. Shepherd

    DNF: 60%

Kane's expectations of Zandra are controlling and excessive.

I loved the fact he was able to raise Fox from birth, but he can't just let her be who she is and still let her get to know Fox. I hate that she's not good enough in his eyes.

I'm guessing that probably changes as the book goes on, but right now I'm disgusted with him and I don't want him to redeem himself.
