Jasmine has her own plan to find a husband, and it doesn’t include God. She has a list of qualities her prince must meet. He has to be handsome and tall and have money—for a start. When online dating sites produce nothing but men who want one thing from Jasmine, she’s had enough. Going to church has started Jasmine on the path to knowing who God is and who He made her to be. She’s shocked when the drive to find someone fades away. Feelings of depression turn to joy. Now she wants the peace she sees in her new best friend. Everyone says all Seth cares about is God. That’s fine with Jasmine because Seth is ordinary, and he doesn’t match her list at all. Then the Lord speaks to her, and a prophetic dream of her prince seems to point to Seth. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like Seth is interested in her that way.

Sweet
This is a first read by Ms. Conatser but it will not be my last. It was was a pleasant change to read a realistic portrayal of the fear of singleness, hunting for Mr. Right, settling for Mr. Make Do and finally yielding to God. I appreciated the true struggle New Christians face when learning to trust Him and the joy, peace and contentment found when yielding. If you are looking for erotica, this is not your story. Wholesome, cute and funny is what this story is.
