It was how I had always lived my life.
From the moment my roommate Mitch and I arrived back at his childhood home on the Second Chance Ranch, things became clear.
He wanted April. I wanted them both, and I always get what I want.
But something is different now. It feels like everything is on the line, and I'm terrified to crash and burn.
Getting what I want isn't going to be so easy this time around. Mitch has to finally come to terms with the fact that he's in love with me, and while he's doing that, we have to convince April to fall in love with both of us. We have to step up and prove that, despite all our faults and problems, we are worthy of that love.
It's a lot, but I begin how I intend to end. With Mitch beside me, April between us, and both of us as her Daddies.
There are a lot of roadblocks along the way, but I'm determined to get my happy ending. And I always get what I want.
Publisher's Note: This book contains ménage scenes and power exchange.

BEGIN AS YOU INTEND TO FINISH
The second book in the Second Chance Ranch series will read as a stand-alone. The Second Chance Ranch is just that, a second chance for kids, many from very bad situations, foster homes, etc. to have a better life. When Nan and her late husband finally realized they were never going to have children of their own, they did the next best thing; they planned to become foster parents and give teens a better future. You can’t help but love and respect Nan, and there are certain quirks about her that resonate from story to story.
“Everybody who’s ever spent any time at the ranch knows one thing for certain—you do not, under any circumstances, come between Nan and her soaps. Unless, of course, you had a death wish.”
The story has a great cast of characters, plenty of angst, self-doubt, regrets, acceptance, and new beginnings. You can’t help but love the feisty and strong-willed Nan, and her love for her children.
It is decided that Nan and Merry need assistance at the ranch, Nan is nearing eighty, and Merry is expecting and her men, Slade and Blake, from Winterland Daddies, are overprotective of these two ladies. They will contact, April Brody, the first granddaughter of Nan, to see if she will come and work with them. The other person contacted to assist is Mitch, who will bring his roommate of twenty years, Brody.
The plot will have April, Mitch, and Brody all arriving at Second Chance Ranch at the same time. From the moment that Mitch and Brody see April, there is an undercurrent of chemistry sizzling between the three of them. But April doesn’t want to mess up as she did back in Chicago, she wants to take things slow, get to know a man before becoming involved. They say the path to hell is paved with good intentions too.
“Your only problem is you have trouble differentiating between men and boys. Boys only see the pretty package on the outside, but a real man will take time to slowly unwrap the gift and unveil the real package. If you are lucky, they are just bi, and you can be the cream filling in their Oreo if you know what I mean.”
Mitch and Brody have been together as roommates for twenty years, and while separately, they both are Doms, Brody will still hold top dog in the pecking order and Mitch as a switch. They have been together, but only a few times in all the years they have been together. When Mitch stresses, Brody must step in to get the situation under control. That will become the case now that they are at the ranch. Mitch is struggling with her sexuality, he isn’t gay, but is he ready to admit he is bi? What will Nan and the men he calls brothers think about him and Brody?
Mitch and Brody take charge over April right away, and she needs their dominance. Will she be able to submit to both of them and accept their lifestyle? She never really has considered a threesome before, much less the concept of having a Daddy or two. But what they have to offer, feels right.
“Little girls who cuss get long hard spankings on their bare bottoms. So whatever you want to say, whatever you need to ask, whatever you’re feeling, I’ve probably said it, lived it, felt it. Pleasure and pain are ours to give—and ours to take.”
“Daddies are more nurturing, and their rules sometimes are a little different. But, just like any power exchange relationship, there are no set rules about it. It’s different for everyone.” –Mitch
“The love that you two have for each other is so pure and so unconditional that sometimes it’s insanely hard not to feel like an outsider or just an afterthought.” –April
The story will have the emotional ups and downs that each person, April, Mitch, and Brody will encounter as they try to accept their role in this relationship, and in their own personal lives. Mitch is struggling with his sexuality and the acceptance of who he loves and why. Brody is more comfortable in the relationship, he is the most dominant, but he is out of his element on a ranch. April at times feels like she shouldn’t interfere with what Mitch and Brody already have, but is attracted to both of them. It will be many learning curves for each of them to accept the dynamics of this new relationship, and it is the wise Nan who helps each of them in their journey.
“This place grabs you by the heart, my dear, and it has a way of bringing people together, even when it seems impossible. That’s okay, though. The magic likes to find you when you aren’t looking. Don’t worry, dear. Just like this ranch and everything that’s come along with it, if it is meant to be, the pieces will fall into place just so.”
The story has several punishment scenes, including MM and MF spankings. It has explicit sex scenes that will include voyeurism, anal, oral, and ménage à trios. It also has MM, MMF, and MFM scenes. I look forward to more stories in this series. -
April, Mitch and Brody are all at Second Chance Ranch for different reasons. April because Merry needs her to help with Nan and the ranch because her men are worried about her pregnancy. Mitch because Brody, his friend for over 20 years, forced him to make the trip back for some relaxation. And Brody because he's in love with Mitch and goes where Mitch goes. When the two men see April they're both attracted. April's recently sworn off men and relationships, though. So how can they possibly start something when she's avoiding men, Mitch is still stuck in the closet, and Brody doesn't know how to get through to him?
I wanted to like Spring Fever Daddies but I had a lot of problems with it. I'll try to be brief so as not to bore anyone. 1) I didn't like any of the 3 leads and didn't find myself connecting with them. 1a) Mitch was annoyingly in the closet even though it was obvious to the ranch and April that he was in love with Brody. The amount of angst over it was irritating and too much. 1b) Brody was overbearingly bossy and chauvinistic and did not bother having a pre-discussion about Daddy dom play, any kind of domination, anything really, before he barreled her into accepting a punishment she didn't even deserve. Then to top it all off, he didn't give her any aftercare after leaving her ass red and sore as hell. Merry even got mad when she found out, but there was no mention of his mistreatment afterward. 1c) April was a boring character; nothing about her stood out in any way.
2) the relationship was not balanced and it was a serious case of insta love considering they were at the ranch for two weeks when they declared that they were in love with April. 2a) I think April got the shaft (see what I did there?) in the relationship considering Mitch and Brody had been in love with each other for over 20 years.
3) the Daddy dom play isn't my thing and I normally don't like reading this trope at all, but if I do read it, it damn well better be more well drawn and realized than it was in Spring Fever Daddies. Here it was entirely too vague with not enough detail to make it significant.
And finally, 4) there is no epilogue. I hate it when romances don't have epilogues. It makes the story feel incomplete as is the case here.
About the only thing that saves Spring Fever Daddies from 1 stars is that it's steamy af. The sex alone gives it one star. Everything else is a big fat no for me.

This is my first Rayanna Jamison story and I loved it. This is the second book in the Second Chance Ranch Series but I did not know that. And I didn't feel like I was missing anything. This story is strictly about Brody, April, and Mitch. Although you do get the last three characters from the last book in this one, but nothing that you have to worry about knowing.
Brody and Mitch have been friends and sometimes lovers for the past twenty years. Brody and Mitch are both Doms when separate in their love lives but together Brody is top dog and Mitch switches. When Mitch and Brody go to Second Chance to help out they show up at the same time as April. These three have instant chemistry and connection.
April can tell that Brody and Mitch have a deep connection and doesn't want to intrude on that. But the boys show that she will not be in the way. Brody becomes an instant Dom for April and Mitch. But Mitch is struggling with his sexuality. He isn't gay, but he knows he loves Brody more than just a friend. And now adding April into the mix he knows he has to come to terms with what he wants.
This book is wonderfully written. You have three people that want a relationship but have never tried this type before. You have someone struggling with his sexuality and his friends/lovers wanting to help but knowing that he has to come to terms on his own. You have April wanting something like a Dom and a Daddy but having insecurities with herself on doing just that.
This is just what I needed to read right now. It isn't a fake romance, it is a "real life" like book. With lots of problems, but with characters working it out. LOVED IT!! I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy for my honest review. -
This 2 story is just as good as the first. I loved Brody and Mitch and the struggle between them finding happiness with each other, even though it took Mitch longer to come to terms with it. And I really loved how much they wanted April and would work together to get her. This was an easy story to read because it's very well written. You can feel the emotions of all the characters as you read their stories. Rayanna Jamison has written another great story!

Finally! Someone who is trying to write the perfect triad story!
What's a triad? In the case of Spring Fever Daddies (and no, we're not at Daytona Beach, FL), it's when two men and one woman make up a plural relationship in which all parties love each other, not the men love the woman and vice versa. This is different and far more difficult to manage here in the United States because we've been brainwashed that love can ONLY exist between one man and one woman.
I'm not big on one guy and many women. I feel that's plain selfish. Women, in order to survive, are extremely jealous entities, and in older times, they literally fought each other (as in sister wives) until there was only one left... or only one malel heir left. Very, very destructive and totally stupid. Whereas, a polyandrous relationship – one woman and more than one man – I feel is a far more responsible relationship but is the one that has had so little attention drawn to it to the point of being the greatest taboo of all the styles of relationships. (Meaning it would imply the men HAD to be bisexual and be misunderstood as gay which is a very sore point.) I've always said it takes a tribe to raise a child, and decent male role models are so hard to find. Also, unlike a one man/one woman marriage, if something happened to one husband, there would be at least one other husband still able to support the woman and their children. No more widows and orphans, the often lepers of society. Wouldn't it be nice if none of that had to happen? That's why other parts of the world accept polyandry as a necessity! It eliminates the problem of infertility if one of the husbands was impotent. Not every husband can know everything, but the combination of husbands can when teaching their children the means to survive this world. I still think that multiple fathers would be able to raise very responsible children – our future. Unlike the rude kids I see nowadays who are hateful and disrespectful yet will so easily start a fight because they think someone is disrespecting them. (In truth, this is all transference. They disrespect themselves and won't deal with it.) So you can see my point.
This is a short novella but a satisfying one... except for the end. I felt I was due a better epilogue probably because I never got one in the first place. But I can tell that the author really spent some time to learn about big/little BDSM which is a totally different kink than the your standard BDSM. I respect that. I think she could have gone on further and fleshed this story out a little more, but I have a sneaky suspicion that she's planning a sort-of-stand-alone sequel that would be spoiled had she continued onward... Grrr...
I really could get into Brody and Mitch and the long, drawn-out complications of their unusual relationship. I really cared for these two in a way much more strongly that I would in other M/M novels and novellas. Maybe it's because they are of a different mold altogether – a dom who is the sub to an über-dom who will become equal Daddies for one very bad, little girl. Quite an unusual paring. But even their covert affection to each other does't seem enough for Mitch. Brody, on the other had, is far more honest with himself and puts himself out there as he is without any regrets, but trust me. He is THE DOM and has that "sign" hanging over his head. As much as he hates the ranch that has psychologically rehabbed so many foster kids, he thought he was doing this so that Mitch would finally works things out in his head. All I can think of is: Twenty years. What a horrible waste of precious time, but I guess that's how much Brody really did love Mitch and didn't want to lose him. (And I guess that the idea of being closeclose friends was still more acceptable than being friendless if Brody felt like it was time to fish or cut bait.) I do like how we get to see into the minds of Brody and Mitch. As for April, I'm not as much into her which is surprising to me as I've seen way too wimpy and disgusting M/M stories NOT to want to see a female's touch somewhere. Maybe it's because I feel the writer cheated her out of her own enlightenment way too early. The ultimatum she declared to both Mitch and Brody about admitting to the existence of love between the two of them or the whole threesome relationship is off, well, it's obvious she's ready to roll or walk away from the two of them, including the one who already accepts her. (I'm not sure I would be able to do that because having one rather than two in a threesome is still better than none at all, assuming the other guy is still sticking around with us...)
I really liked Nan the Matriarch's character and her commitment to her crusade for lost children with broken souls. I think we truly need more people like her, and with the current depression and all the ranches and farms going into foreclosure, why not make them part of the system if those involves are competent like Nan to do so? I think it's a wonderful idea that could save a generation. As a physician, I have taken care of too many of these lost souls with me knowing full well that once their time in jail was over, what would happen to them? Most are kicked out after reaching 18 years old, and they walk out of juvie (I'm thinking Alaska now, folks) with nothing to hold onto or a place to stay? I would want Nan's help very badly right now as a halfway home/working ranch for assimilation into the community. Thank you for some interesting inspirations, Rayanna.
I suppose I'm not giving this story five stars is that we don't know how things work out. I'm sure that in real life, we wouldn't, but I really wished we could here. I guess I might have to read the next tale to find out (if the answer would be there, that is). But I would recommend this book to others as it IS a different spin of the traditional threesome as triads are more loving and survive better as a unit than even the traditional heterosexual couple. The other reason for the just four stars is that the title is inappropriate to the content inside of this novella. I just don't see any connection... just like the Chopped judges say when evaluating a plate of food. Everything needs to be harmonious, and this title... ain't.

OH what to say, what to say. I love Ms. Jamison’s works. She has a wonderful knack for making her readers feel every thought and emotion the characters in her books have. Well at least the books of hers that I have read and that includes Spring Fever Daddies. The storyline is heartwarming and the characters are so lovable.
Once again we are at Second Chance Ranch. If you read book one (Winterland Daddies) you know Nan ran the ranch for years taking in foster kids that needed a 2nd chance at living a normal live. Even now that Nan is older and no longer takes in foster kids, she seems to still have a knack for knowing when her kids need help. At the end of book 1 we learn that Merry is pregnant. Her Dom/Daddies, Slade and Blake, treat her like glass and won’t let her help around the ranch. So…. they convince April to come help out and be their housekeeper. They also get Mitch to take a well needed vacation to help the guys with the horses and ranch duties. Of course Mitch convinces his best friend and roommate, Brody, to tag along (which is totally hilarious considering Brody is 100% a City Boy). But Brody happily goes along hoping away from the city he can get Mitch to open up and face his true feelings.
The fun begins when the three arrive at the ranch. There is an instant attraction between both the guys and April. But April has sworn off men because she seem to always jumps in head first and ends up getting hurt. But when she is surrounded by 4 sexy cowboys (even though Slade and Blake are taken) can she stick to her conviction? As for Mitch and Brody can these two Doms/Daddies convince her to take a chance on one of them or maybe even both? Life sure can get wild around the Second Chance Ranch, but one thing is for sure, it’s one place you’ll always be safe, never be judged, alway be allowed to be yourself and last but not least you’ll always be loved and welcomed.
If you haven’t started the Second Chance Ranch series, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT (be be advised the series does have graphic adult scenes with power exchanges in it). These are fun, erotic, sexy storylines that will warm your heart and leave you breathless. 2 Thumbs Up. -

DONNA L -
The Second Chance Ranch is the place where foster kids who had no other place to go or who needed a safe place to go went. Now that Nan is too old to run the ranch, she lives for her kids to come and visit her. Some of her kids, Merry, Slade, and Blake now live there and run the ranch as a place for troubled kids and teens to go to get some horse therapy and learn some life lessons.
But now that Merry is pregnant, Slade and Blake are fussing over her like crazy, and they refuse to let her or Nan do anything, so they need to hire help. That's where Blake and Mitchell come in. Mitch was one of Nan's kids. Blake is his long-time friend and roommate, and occasional Dom and lover. Slade and Blake want Mitch to come and help run the ranch and Blake says that they are both going to go.
Meanwhile, inside the house, Merry has called in reinforcements too. She's called in April, the child of Nan's first foster daughter. April is there to help cook and clean. She's also decided that she's writing off men. She has a habit of falling into bed before she knows anything about them. So, she's decided that she's going to make sure to stay away from men, but Blake and Mitch have made it really difficult to stay with that.
I loved the story. It made me sad though in places, because some of the characters have a hard time getting out of their own way, and it nearly destroys them. But Rayanna Jamison knows the way to get the characters back to where they need to be. I really loved watching the story unwind and watching people learn that it's OK to be who they are and to get what they want, and that there's nothing to be ashamed of. Really wonderful. It's a great story, very spicy, and lots of mmf action for those who like it. -

Review: April is in a bit of a pickle - she goes back to her foster grandmother's ranch to help her pregnant friend and said aging grandmother and finds her life turned upside down. Without intending to, she finds two hot guys who are also hot for each other (and her).
Spring Fever Daddies is the second book in the Second Chance Ranch books, where apparently all women are coming away with two men (well except for grandma). Mind you, I'm not complaining about the two guys! While it is the second book, I read it as a standalone and followed along with no issues.
While April gets introduced to the concept of daddies and doms, Mitch and Brody struggle with their own interpersonal/sexual relationship. Brody is ready to commit to both April and Mitch, but Mitch is hung up on being attracted to men (despite the fact he acts on it).
The book is quick paced and fun. While it is plenty spicy, I admit to being a little greedy and wanted a little more action both between April and each of the guys and the three together. I enjoyed the story and April is kinda of a hoot and half as she rams into this relationship without much of a clue.
Definitely a great beach read! -
I read this book as part of an arc program. I really enjoyed this story about a young woman named April who comes to the ranch to help with the household chores. April is the granddaughter of Nan, the head of the household and foster mother of many children, some of which still reside on the ranch. Mitch is another one of the foster children who grew up and left for NYC, and currently lives with his business partner Brody. Mitch and Brody have had an on again off again relationship over the past twenty years, but have never acknowledged it to anyone. Mitch denies he is bi sexual and even though Brody is a Dom, he still thinks he can resist him. When Mitch needs a break from work, Brody convinces him they should go to the ranch. While at the ranch, Mitch is attracted to April and Brody, and they must decide if they can have a relationship together and if Mitch can admit his true feelings. I enjoyed this book, I liked Mitch and really felt for him. He had his fears about what everyone would think about him based on his past. I also thought they brought out the best in each other. Good one.
-
The only thing I hated was that April got the raw end of the deal in this threesome, I mean Mitch as the less dominant of the two men screws up and his punishment’ is sex, but when April does something to earn a punishment it’s hard spanking on a$S and or her kitty but as for sex one time while Mitch and Brody has it a few times and they supposedly bi. I read that swing towards women then each other because of Mitch but I read they are more together and April is the third wheel, she hardly gets a kiss while Brody and Mitch make out a lot. April was a mess of emotions and her hatred toward herself you can feel her pain and ass to the harshness of Mitch with her or Brody’s stand off-ish personality towards her until after Mitch calls dibs and pushed her past her limit in one day. I got mixed feelings with this book and it’s not about the M/M aspect or with the threesome it’s more the guy’s attitude.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. -
Mitch is a very focused, high strung, and very stressed out man. Brody is his friend of 20 years that has been hiding secrets and tragedies in Mitch's life. Now they are going back to the ranch that saved Mitch and was his last foster home. His foster brothers are there with their wife. Life as Mitch knows it is about to change because he is going to have to face his secrets and fears.
This book was very emotional and heartfelt. It talks about how being bisexual can be very complicated if you're not willing to admit it.
I recommend this book to anyone that likes to read about mmf and mfm meneges. It also touches on a little part of the BDSM relationship between all three.
I enjoyed this book because it touched on real life aspects and the way people handle it with and without being open minded. - By Kristina -
Can you say holy complicated beautiful hotness?!? What are all the ways I love this book?
It’s sexy as all get out. It’s sexy between the guys and April and between Brody and Mitch.
It’s real. Sexuality is complicated. Sometimes you only sexually desire one sex or another. But sometimes you sexually desire someone because of your feelings for them. I loved that Ms. Jamison not only went there but she really went there- how Mitch was struggling because of his sexual and loving feelings toward Brody.
I couldn’t put it down. I love all of Ms. Jamison’s books. This was a departure in terms of some of the content, but not in how darn awesome it was!!
So as long as you don’t mind some MM action, BUY and READ this book. You won’t regret it. Five sexy, complicated, awesome stars!! -
This is the new author to me and a second in a series. I don’t believe you had to read the first book in the series to get the gist of this book. This book is about acceptance for who you are. Mitch is struggling with being bisexual. Him and Brody have live together for 20+ years as roommates, friends and occasional lovers. When Mitch returns to the second chance ranch with Brody in tow they meet April. She pushes for their acceptance in proving that they love each other and her. Brody is on board but Mitch feels like his foster brothers and sisters would look at him differently if he was in a relationship with Brody. Emotionally charged story about how to except who you are.
** I voluntarily read an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review ** -
I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet April, Mitch and Brody. All of them have their own lives and their own jobs to think of but when April and Mitch's brothers ask them to come home there is just something that calls to them. Each of them is in need of something in their life and little did they know coming home would give it to them. Can they find their HEA though or will their life outside the ranch draw them apart?
This is an amazing book. It has it's ups and downs that I really want to tell you about. I however don't want to ruin it for any other readers. I will say this book will have you hooked from the first word to the very last. I would highly recommend it. -
Finding daddies
This is the first book I've read of Rayanna Jamison, it won't be the last. This is the second book in the series, but it didn't feel like I had to read the first book first. It does stand alone. I am however looking forward to reading it soon hopefully. I don't like spoilers so I won't go into details. Reasons I enjoyed this book: Happily Ever After, Romantic, Wonderful characters, Page-turner, Great world building, Unpredictable, Original, Easy-to-read, Entertaining, Action-packed, Steamy.

This book has complex characters, deep emotions, and lots of heat and steam. Book has scenes of domestic discipline, ménage, anal, and voyeurism. There are intimate scenes featuring MFM, MM, and MMF. As hot and sexy as this book is it also packs powerful emotions. Mitch, Brody, and April all have tough questions they must ask themselves. Only when they are honest with themselves and each other can they try to embrace the feelings that connect them all. If you enjoy a scorching read but you prefer a book with plenty of emotional depth, this is a perfect combo of both. I'm voluntarily posting a honest review.

There are some parts where the characters that are inconsistent. April identifies herself as dominant but it all goes out the window when she meets with Mitch and Brody. So she really isn’t dominant, why say that in the first place. The guys don’t have much empathy for April’s feelings. I don’t want to have any spoilers, but if you read the entire book, you would understand my opinion.
This type of dominant/submissive genre isn’t my favorite so I tend to be more interested in character development. It could have been better. Brody and April suffered from lack of depth.

This is really a wonderful book. Everthing I read made me so happy. Brody, Mitch, and April are just amazing. The things that go on in here is very touching for me. I completely understand Mitch. I understand Brody and April too, just Mitch hit home a little more. You also get Nan, Blake, Slade, and Merry too. Which made me happy. No one knows her kids like Nan. If you haven't read book 1 you must. Their journey is full of challenges, and lots of happy moments. The writing and flow of this book is fantastic. This is a must read.
