“Let’s get married.”

That was the last thing I had in mind.
Then I saw Holly, a curvy redhead in a tight green dress.
I knew she was mine. And I had to claim her.
I tasted her full lips and devoured every inch of her.
I woke up with a ring on my finger, but she was gone…

Our marriage was an accident, but my vows are real.
Finding her isn’t easy. And I’m not the only one who wants her.
The cartel thinks they own her, but they have no clue.
I’m not your ordinary billionaire. I’m ruthless.

I’ll protect my wife. And our baby growing inside her.

I chose to read this because a) it's number one on Amazon's most read romantic suspense books of the week and b) it has a 4.8 rating on Amazon.

    My question is: how?.

  • Natalie ~ The Biblioholic

What do you get when you mix a hot, dominant billionaire and a shy, repressed school teacher? A hot little story that blends the mafia, romance, and a trip down a wacky Elvis altar. If you love a bit of action with a lot of love, you'll enjoy this one! xo

  • Jennifer

Nothing extra, but not too horrid for 99 cents. Plus got a second book with his brother free.

  • Leo

The first part of it was engaging. Learning that Holly have to marry a drug cartel son after her father is having huge debth to him, and then Holly gets married to Brayden during a drunk night. The tension and suspension was there but even though the ebook was over 400 pages, the ending feelt far to rushed and it was far from satisfying. Feelt like the story on the back didn't really start until almost at the end.

  • Edwina " I LoveBooks" "Deb"

Accidentally Married is poorly written. It just didn't interest me at all. It starts out all over the place. But if is free on Kindle Unlimited.

  • ATH

    Just no.
The only reason i tried to read this was because I accidentally hit “buy with one click” on amazon.
    DNF 32%
Finished the first sex scene & I just couldn’t get the thought of daddy issues out of my head considering she HATES how her father tells her what to do and their relationship is a major source of conflict yet she loves being dominated and told what to do in bed. Gross.
Also. I enjoy a mafia/ the girl is used to pay a debt story line but what makes her worth so much money? How does this crime lords son not already have many women & i didnt get to this part but hes also on board with this plan?
There’s really long drawn out paragraphs of pointless information. I get it, Gloria raised you, you have issues with your dad. talk about beating a dead horse.

"I received a complimentary copy of this book and have volunteered to leave a review."

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. But what if you get married with someone by accident over one drunken decision? R.R. Banks, who is well-known for his suspenseful storylines, doesn't plan to deliver a sweet romance to his fans yet. Controling alpha men, the mexican mafia, a trial run in bdsm scenery and the King as guest star, are what the author promises for his new action-packed book.

There is a request not to reveal much about the plot, so I'm staying with what I have written above. Fortunately, this is a good thing because I'm jumping over to the 'what I think about the book' part. So, here it goes.

Firstly, I'm have to ask: 'Where is R.R. Banks fluent writing style in this story?' Because I felt that I was reading one of his first works combined with what I lately use to read by him. The story isn't fast paced enough and on many parts I found the narration extensive, which was too much for my likes. Secondly, for the first time, I couldn't get complitely attached with the heroes. Holly is a complicated character. She decides to do something and then do the complete opposite... Brayden, on the other hand, is one heck of a character. Manly yet sentimental, diplomatic yet a complete tease...His alpha demeanour is super hot!!! Holly's father is the third narrator who has a big part in the story whereas I couldn't understand the man...

In spite of the narration, I like very much the storyline of Accidentally Married. There is a variety of different sceneries, as the story unfolds, each one developed beautifully, capturing all the feels from the scene perfectly. At this point, I would like to say that both Holly and Brayden, while being together in a scene, are as sizzling as a couple can possibly be. Their chemistry between the two leaps off the pages and burns them on their way... Over all, R.R. Banks, once again, delivers a suspenseful story, encompassing drama, anguish and romance. Until next time, enjoy your free time reading great books with the most unforgettable stories.

    Good story

This was an easy to read book. The story was good, but predictable. The main characters get married wild they're drunk, a secret baby, a sleazy father who got himself in a jam with a drug cartel and is using his daughter to get out of debt. Not bad.

  • Emma

so bad. there are no words.

  • Douglas Meeks

Well I could not remember what I had written about Accidentally Married but here goes, it is actually 2 books , the title book and the one about his brother "Accidentally In Love" along with a short story and a couple of teasers.

While both books had great stories the telling was a bit poor and filler with sex that did more to break up the flow of the story than add to it. The base story in each was good enough to keep you reading but I scanned many pages in both stories (mostly sex) to keep the real story going, the hero here is not really the brothers but this guy named Adam who is a bit of a "fixer" who I wish we could see more of, without him these stories would have been much more boring.

this was not really a review as such but a copy of a post I made in a forum just to let people know what they are getting. I have to say that by the end I can only give this collection 3 Stars for both heroines who had no consistency and were cast as "nice" girls and suddenly became submissive sluts in a sexual situation which was not a problem as much as it was more of a Jekyll /Hyde transformation than anything a real person would do.

  • Selenity Jade (Coffee Addicts Book Reviews)

This is a DNF. By the way, other readers, DNF reviews ARE completely valid reviews when it's because of the book you didn't finish it.

I don't even know what to say here. I was curious about this author after this name was mentioned in the whole KU scammers and as they are still on Amazon, and I have a trial Kindle Unlimited, I thought I would check it out. (I prefer to buy my books and KU scammers make me definitely not want to support it).

First, I actually Googled this author. There is absolutely nothing personal about him on his biographies or any pictures of the author anywhere, and his Facebook page is completely about self promoting except a meme or two. I mean there isn't a single personal story he shares with his readers, nothing. Suspicious. He's definitely a penname, but even people with secret real names tell you it's a penname, and they at least tell a funny personal story or poll their readers or update them on writing progress. There's literally not one piece of information about this author except he claims to be a man. Again, suspicious.

So, I double checked. The book isn't book stuffed or anything. The writing is technically correct.

The everyday price to purchase the book is ridiculously low. No way would any author survive that way. Suspicious as well when this isn't a short story.

So while the writing is correct, this is the most unimaginative piece of drivel I've had the pleasure of picking up. It was completely lame. It might be technically perfectly written, but I still call foul. I didn't make it past chapter four.

Now that leads me to suspect most of the reviews HAVE to be purchased or faked. If they aren't, romance fans have seriously lowered their standards just because it's free on KU or so cheap to buy.

I haven't checked how often he publishes a book, but I highly suspect he's hiring ghostwriters to write his ideas for him, because he's listed in new releases often and there is no fire in the book. It's lifeless. Excellent grammar, but no passion behind the words.

Y'all, if you think these are good, please start looking for real authors. Maybe start with traditionally published authors because it's hard to hide your identity from publishers. Once y'all know how real authors write who have valid identities, maybe you can go back to selfpub authors and actually read the good real ones. It's a shame this book takes so much money from actual hardworking selfpub authors. There are so many authors who actually write their own stuff and it's so much better of a story, selfpub and traditionally published alike.

I'm seriously shaking my head here. I truly just don't get it. This is definitely not 400+ review worthy.

    Another win for R.R.

Being sold to a drug cartel is not anything you would want for yourself. So Holly runs to Vegas with her best friend to get away from her fathers latest nightmare.

While there she meets Bradyen who is also in Vegas with a friend. These two hit it off, the chemistry is flying and there is nothing anyone can do.

This book has twist and turns, sexy scenes, and a good love story. Really enjoyed it. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy.

    Great Book

I loved this book & the exclusive extra book that came along with it! Just wonderfully written stories with complex characters finding themselves trying to navigate deep meaningful relationships in an imperfect world. I think that's what I love about all of RR Banks's books!

I went into this one really hoping I was gonna like it but was assuming I probably wouldn’t. There are a lot of mixed reviews so I was hesitant but let me tell you.... I was pleasantly surprised.

This book seriously engaged me from the beginning. To be honest reading the book blurb I expected a completely different story. I devoured this book. The writing was really good, the dialogue between the characters as well as the characters inner dialogue was engaging and I just really enjoyed it.

Holly is a teacher at a private school. She doesnt have much of a relationship with her father and brother.... which is understandable. She finds out that her father got into some bad dealings with the leader of a Mexican drug and other various awful activities cartel. Her father has struck a deal with him to wipe his debts he is essentially trading his daughter to marry the cartel leaders son.

Holly takes off to Las Vegas with her best friend Gabby which is where she meets Brayden. Brayden is there with his friend who is trying to get over a bad break up. These two share an instant connection and spend a few amazing steamy days together which result in a drunken stumble down the alter.

The new marriage isn’t without difficulty when Brayden’s new bride is missing the next day. He and his PI find out where Holly is and the dealings her father has with these crazy people. Brayden is hurt of course that she took off and fully intends to have her sign the annulment papers until he see’s the woman he can’t get off his mind. He soon finds out what her father has drug her into and intends to help but not before all hell breaks loose.

I really enjoyed this and the ending was good but I just wish I had a little more of the future.

Definitely worth a try for yourself!

This was the first of R.R. Banks' books that I have read, but it will not be the last. What a roller coaster. Honestly, in the beginning I was struggling to stick with the book. Although the back story of what is happening with her dad is needed, I felt like it was dragging a bit, but in the end I found myself staying up all night to finish the book. :)

  • Kathy Temean

This book had so much potential, but it missed the mark. Even the sex scenes didn't help. I do hope that the author decides to revise, since I do think it could be good. I just couldn't buy that the main character who found it hard to even have a conversation would turn around and want to go to a sex club and have sex in a room filled with other people having sex. I couldn't believe that her father wouldn't have pleaded with her to marry the mafia son to save his life. He never says that. The only thing on his mind is the money, which doesn't ring true, since we saw the Mafia shooting one of his family members in the head because he didn't pay up. The amount of money - three million is never mentioned until the end of the story. Where is the effort to try to figure how to get out of it? The father seemed smart enough to know that selling his daughter off to pay off his debts wouldn't end the Mafia problem. They would be family. Then she takes a pregnancy test two day after having sex. That doesn't exist. The characters need more layers. There are so many places that need to be cut, since they are just repeating the same thing. I almost put the book down before I read 10%, but I pushed forward and thought, okay it is getting better, but then it nose dived. Please revise, this could work. Loved the cover.

The Pull of Cover and Blurb
When this was on sale for 99 cents, I gave into the addiction and clicked.
This was a book with about three different plot points with Drug Cartel, Surprise Marriage and an undercurrent of insta-lust.

The ideas could have worked somehow...but for me, not so much.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Wow! Riveting, action-packed and suspenseful! This mafia romance book was impossible to put down, and it will have you on the edge of your seat. The momentum of the story keeps you wanting to read more. It is somewhat dark with gruesome details; murder, mystery, drama, intrigue, suspense, kidnapping, mafia, and passion continue to keep you glued to the pages of this fascinating story. From the very first page, I was spellbound by these fantastically described characters that you will find yourself falling in love with—or not. R.R. Banks has become one of my favorite authors—you know that his books will be salacious with an engrossing love story, an interesting plot and dialogue with strong conflicts. Like Shakespeare said, “The course of true love never did run smooth.” I was enthralled with the main characters of Brayden Anderson and Holly Gallagher and the other cast of characters in the story. I loved the banter between Holly and Brayden. Brayden Anderson is thirty-three years old, successful, disgustingly wealthy, handsome, sexy as hell, temperamental, and he normally gets what he wants. Holly Gallagher is twenty-four years old, school teacher, beautiful, sassy, obstinate, and comes from a wealthy family. When Brayden meets Holly in Vegas, you know what they say—what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas—well, not necessarily so. Holly’s father is overprotective, overbearing, old school in thinking he knows what is best for her, and he tries to run Holly’s life—even at 24 years old. Holly’s father gets in over his head and makes a deal with the devil because his construction company was struggling financially. What does this have to do with Holly? Plenty! Wait until you read what happens and what type of deal her father makes—you will be flabbergasted and appalled. You will fall in love with Brayden and how he is protective of Holly and comes to her rescue. The chemistry between Brayden and Holly gets really sultry—the sex is off-the-chart hot!! You get a chance to see the progression of their love—theirs was not a quick and easy love story because they had to overcome some issues, but loves does prevail. If you enjoy Mafia romance where the bad guy shows just how good he can be, strong female leads, and revenge served up piping hot, then you will love this book. The scenes are well written, fast-paced and flow smoothly from one scene to the next while the strong charismatic characters draw readers in and refuse to let go. The story will also pique your interest and draw you in from the beginning to the very end. This is a definite MUST READ!

ARC Received from the Author for a Voluntary and Honest Review. Thank you Mr. Banks!
    I also bought the book📑.

I did have a little problem with the character of Brayden🐺🍆🌋👋 being a bit inconsistent. As an Alpha, He would always be in the driver's seat, always in control.
Holly💃💋 wasn't the most likeable woman because she constantly ignores or runs away from her problems instead of solving them.

    Loved the book📑! Highly recommend.

And he will get what belongs to him.

I loved this story, plus bonus stories

I loved this book. I couldn't put it done. Even my husband made a comment that I was ignoring him when we were traveling because I wanted to finish it. I have read other books by this author and like the writing style. I loved the characters connections and could connect with them.
Overview. Holly was a typical young teacher. She grew up in private schools and colleges since her dad owned his own construction business. But Holly never pictured her dad having issues. So when her dad tells her that he took a loan from a drug cartel boss and can't pay it back, she is mad. But gets even more mad when she is told she has to marry the bosses son in order to settle the deal. Holly gets mad and storms out, picks up her friend and they head to Vegas. Brayden and his friend Trey are heading to Vegas to get Treys mind off his ex. Trey connects with 2 girls at a club, so Brayden decided to sit and have a drink when 2 girls join him. Holly's friend sees Brayden and insisted that he buys them a drink. Holly and Brayden hit it off and decide to go to dinner, and then back to his hotel. One thing leads to another and they get married. Now Holly is freaking since she married Brayden and was suppose to marry the cartels son. The cartels family gets mad and kidnapped Holly. Will Brayden save her? Will their marriage be saved or annulled?

A fantastic story! I couldn't put it down. Full of twists and turns. So romantic. It also had me on edge but I loved it! It is well written and my favorite book so far. R.R. Banks is a fantastic author! I can't wait to read his next book. Michael got into some trouble when his company started going downhill. Trujillo walked in and invested in the company to keep it going. The only problem is Trujillo is the head of the most notoriously violent and brutal drug cartels in Mexico. Michael didn't know this until he was already in too deep. He kills if he doesn't get paid back. When he comes for his money, Michael doesn't have it. He comes up with a proposition. He wants Michaels daughter Holly to marry his son Armando so he can have grandchildren and make sure he has someone to take over his business. When Michael tells Holly he wants her to marry Armando, she stormed out and gets her best friend Gabby to go on a trip to Vegas. That's when Holly meets Brayden. Gabby keeps embarrassing Holly so she keeps silent. After talking with Gabby in the restroom, she decides to talk to Brayden. After a while, Gabby leaves and its only Brayden and Holly. What will Holly do now? Will she stay or leave? Grab this book to find out? I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

i read this book as part of an arc program. I really loved this book, it was a very good story about instant love after a weekend in Las Vegas. Holly was a teacher at a private school and when her father asked her to marry the son of a business associate, she leaves with her best friend to get away. They head to Las Vegas where they meet Brayden. Brayden was in Las Vegas with his best friend and wasn't looking to meet anyone. When Brayden and Holly eventually hit it off, they have a great connection and spend the night at Brayden's hotel. They end up spending a great weekend together and get very drunk. The next day, Brayden wakes up alone, but married. Meanwhile Holly has to return home and face her father. The man her father wants her to marry has arrived and wants to see her. Holly knows he is dangerous and knows the only way to avoid him is to stall about if she will marry him. Her father is pressuring her because of the danger and things are getting more complicated. There is a lot of drama in this book, it does have a few twists. I really loved the connection between Holly and Brayden. I thought they were a great couple, they made each other laugh and had intense heat. I have really come to love RR's books and this is another great one! Well done!
